Great place with great people and popcorn machine. However, there are not trivia nights on Tuesdays here anymore.

Got my first kiss here. Food was good, drinks were affordable. The woman was a wench, however.

Decent bar near the Atlantic Terminal. Has a popcorn machine which is great. Average atmopshere but has a pretty nice patio

The owner of this place does not know how to run it. He just fired his two best bartenders. For that reason, I will never be back. The only reason I came to this dive was to see them, and now they are gone. Good job, you just lost a customer(and I’m sure plenty more, given that the both of them were there for years). Also, what kind of bar doesn’t have music(besides a jukebox that customers must pay for)? And what kind of Brooklyn bar has such a lackluster beer list? Seriously, just no.

«Brooklyn Tavern» is a suitably generic name for this perfectly generic bar. Nothing much here is unexpected, except for the jumbo-size backyard and the rather narrow selection of draft beers. Otherwise, it’s a clean dark room with a upright clientele. I wouldn’t make a special trip to come here, but when I am meeting someone in the neighborhood and Hank’s would be a little too much, i’m happy to go here.

Low key bar, oddly L shaped back patio area, and a popcorn machine. What else do you need? Maybe a little smile on the bartender would be nice, but you can’t have everything.

This place is in a nice up-and-coming neighborhood, has limited competition, has a nice space with an outdoor garden(which needs some renovation), yet somehow usually attracts kind of a sketchy crowd. Don’t get me wrong, I like that it’s never super crowded but sometimes the vibe is just kind of weird…

This bar kind of sucks. Not a lot on tap and not many deals offered and it also has no food. However, it was literally the only bar that wasn’t jam packed Saturday night due to a million people being in the Slope for both Googa Mooga and Beer Fest and I guess maybe the Knicks game. WHATEVER. I was getting frustrated and angsty, I needed to pee, and my friend wanted food. So we were destitute with resorting to this place until our event started. There was a pint of bud light and a shot of bourbon for $ 7. Which I did. None of the other beers impressed me and $ 6 for a shocktop that my friend got was just stupid. I guess happy hour on a weekday may be better. I just was left feeling disappointed and below average. Also, I was sitting on a folding chair. I docket points for that.

The Place is ok with the yard however the chick bartender thats usually there sucks. Ive been coming here for a few years with my friends and I swear she has never bought back a drink. I was always here with several people buying a round of shots and beer everytime i stepped up to the bar. I spent a lot of money in this place. Not one buy back. Not one. We all got sick of this cheap bartender. Id give the actual bar 4 stars but because of this girl they have working there Id give it a big fat zero. womp womp. We found several much better places in the area. Haha I’m adding this much later but low and behold the place closed down for good. Good.

I love the cranky guy who is complaining that he never got a free drink. This is one of my favorite bars for many reasons, but mostly because people like that guy don’t show up too often, sorry ‘Pauly’. Trivia, presidential debates, New Years Eve – always enjoy myself and the staff is the best!

You get off at the Atlantic Avenue station and stare glumly at the P.C. Richards in front of you. It’s snowing and the wind is blowing straight through you. Worst of all, your friends want to meet at Applebees, where the line is long and the tables are piled high with indelicacies. But wait… you could always just go to the Brooklyn Tavern. To be honest, the Brooklyn Tavern reminds me of grad school. It’s the place I wanted to go instead of Hank’s Saloon, which is across the street. It reminds me of flirting with good-looking, young hipster-type teaching candidates while drinking Coors and whatever else is on tap. Brooklyn Tavern is a classy neighborhood joint that just makes you feel warm and cozy as soon as you step in. The bartenders are always good-natured and friendly and the patrons are always having a good time. The jukebox plays everything you could want(mid-90s NSYNC please!) and drinks are cheap. It’s quiet, but not too quiet. It’s just quiet enough for you to have a conversation with your tablemates while also enjoying the friendly banter at the foosball table behind you or watching the Nets game on one of the tvs. Best of all, they have a huge selection of take-out menus for you to peruse. Order up some wings and fries to share as you sip cheap beer with friends and soon-to-be friends.

Fairly priced drinks and Foosball. They also have a decently sized backyard. A neighborhood bar. I wouldn’t come all the way out here for it though. Trivia on Tuesday.

A little hole in the wall, very quiet, never the usual weekend fools. Very yuppie and business with a quaint back yard for bbq. Majority of the Barstaff is good and the Owner is a gentleman. Come on by now that the weather is getting good. This Summer is going to be great!

This is one of our favorite spots for a drink after a day in the shop, to get some fresh air in the back or grab some happy hour special in the cool inside. We print hard, we drink hard.
