I’ve heard some say«Lakeland Pizza is the best for miles,» and while that may be true, I assure you it is only because there is not much of a choice in the area. I suggest driving far away and picking up a pie elsewhere. Sophia’s pizza is certainly not the pizza in which you would associate the goddess of love; The only flavor represented in the pizza and by the name Sophia, is «OLD.» Yes, the pie may come out fresh, but the crust has more of a stale taste and texture, the size obnoxiously small, and there’s something off with the sauce. Now, it is possible to get a decent pie here, it’s just extremely rare, and you won’t find any great qualities with their basics. Bohemia has about four pizza joints, all can beat Sophia’s. Drive out of town, get pizza made with love. Sophia loves nothing. — – 29 Apr, 2009 — – Good-… A real good meat stuffed pie, ask for extra sauce on the side.

I had a slice of plain cheese pizza last night. It was pretty good. The crust was a bit thick for my tastes but still good. It was piping hot which I appreciated as I was driving back to my job and it was the perfect temp when I got there. I would definitely try again. My job is thinking about ordering a breakfast pizza this week. I’ll update my review based on that as well. :)

Up until our last visit(3 in total) I was on the fence about this pizzeria. What got me off the fence, and not on the good side was the fact that we had ordered Pasta with meatballs, with a side order of more meatballs and were given the tiny frozen kind you can buy in a 3 lb bag at Costco. i know this because I have used them myself in a pinch. They are okay, but when you order from a restaurant, you expect to get fresh handmade meatballs, not rubber little substitutes. Their sause was bland and the soup also suggested something from a can, but I couldn’t be sure.

Ordered a cheeseburger and fries to be delivered to a hotel I was staying at. They said they would arrive in 30 minutes(2:00PM). They arrived in 40 minutes. The cheeseburger was very dry(overcooked). Disappointing meal.

Pizzeria Decent slices but could be thinner. Not sure if I hit them on a bad day but the two slices were both a bit on the doughy side. That being said, both slices were fine enough taste wise. Prices were decent and I would hit them again in a pinch. Frankly, I am not a huge pizza eater so I might not hit them again for months. Parking in front.

they serve really good thin crust Long Island pizza. they have all the usual pizzaria fare; heros, italian entres, salads but I’ve only had the pizza. There are a lot of really good pizza places around and this is one of them.
