Please don’t go by their prices posted on their Facebook page, call to confirm. They are wrong. Also told me 20 min for an order that took an hour and a half. Pizza was good but cold and it was $ 19 for half cheese half sausage mushroom. Very annoying.

Just your average pizzeria. Their parmigiana is too salty, regular pizza is unexceptional, grandma pizza is better, but they do deliver.

False advertising and shady customer service along with mediocre pizza. I went there tonight(Tuesday night) because my wife and I saw a special on their website for $ 9.99 for a regular pie and 6 garlic knots. A few other local pizza shops had similar specials for a Tuesday night but we decided to go here. The total came to $ 16.07 and I asked about the $ 9.99 special and the guy says that that menu on the website was from a few months ago and its different now, they offer that special on Mondays. I explain to him the reason why I came to this pizza place was because of the $ 9.99 special and how its on the website. If I knew I was spending 16 bucks I would have gone somewhere else, or gotten something else. He says to only give him $ 16 to save the 7 cents then gives me a menu as if I would be a returning customer, that was a slap in the face. Its not my fault your website wasn’t updated, and don’t act like you are doing me a favor. They need to learn basic business and customer service skills. I’ve lived in Bohemia my whole life and have seen rotating pizza places in that shopping center growing up, some good some bad. With bad customer service and shady practices, among pizza that just doesn’t stand out this place will soon be another pizza place to forget about and will be out of business.

Lurking around Bohemia, are a handful of pizza joints, none all to spectacular; Buona Fortuna however is pretty darn good; good crisp crust, and tasty all ’round. This being said, there isn’t much that’s special here, just pizza done right. NY pizza at its … Most basic.

So, once again, Saturdays is NOT the day for customer service. Pizza(Sicilian) is very good. But I can have a better experience elsewhere. The guy actually flung the pen at me to sign my receipt. I have only had one good customer service experience here and it was on a Thursday. However, I really loathe my 2 Saturday experiences, so thinking to just go elsewhere(Sal’s is delish, AND friendly!). Shame this place just doesn’t get the importance of SIMPLE customer service.

I went here a few years ago, dining in, and remember being provided with friendly, excellent service and watching bubbling, hot pizza go by, looking all kinds of delicious. Unfortunately, this is far from the case as of late. Although I’m a Gio’s of East Islip Gramdma pie devotee, I figured I’d try something a little closer to home, and at $ 10.99 for a Grandma or Sicilian, thought, what the hell. It then all went downhill from there. I called to place my order for pickup. The guy was really, really brusque, especially when I asked for extra garlic. His response was, «it’s in the sauce, so no.» Okay, that makes sense(kinda), so fine. I tentatively called back to make sure I had asked for the special. «Yeah, you SAID that already» in a clearly exasperated tone. Jeez, I was just making sure, and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t being THAT annoying. I show up perfectly on time, and look at the Grandma pizza by the slices that they were selling. Rather than thick streaks of tomato sauce, it was a blob of crushed tomatoes on each slice. Awesome! I love tomatoes! But different than what I’m used to, and because my pizza was still in the oven, I asked if it were possible to get some extra sauce added to my pizza. «Your pizza’s already done, so it’ll be cold. You want me to put cold sauce on your pizza? It’ll taste like shit.» Umm, I guess not? But thanks for the honesty? It emerged from the oven hot and bubbling, and looking mighty fine. A light sprinkle of grated cheese(very light) and some chopped basil, and my half-dozen knots with extra garlic in the oil-soaked bag, and I paid my $ 15.(Although how tax came out to be $ 2 on a $ 13 subtotal is beyond me. Maybe it’s an annoyance charge?) I mean, the end result was okay. The knots were actually pretty terrible; all the oil was on the bag and not in the knots, which were really nondescript and flavorless. Probably one of the worst I’ve had, tbh. The pizza sauce was tasty, but there wasn’t enough of it. The crust was crispy but bland – definitely not the focaccia style Gio’s serves up. The cheese didn’t even reach the edges of the pizza, which left about two inches of nothing crust to each slice. It wasn’t TERRIBLE, but it wasn’t worth the attitude and being made to feel a nuisance. I understand he was the only guy working, but still. I usually feel like a guilty sack of shit AFTER I eat pizza, not before. So disappointed.

Went here once and I will never be back. Don’t get me wrong the pizza was great but there was this guy that works there and treated me like complete garbage. I asked for extra cheese which he charged me for and he didn’t put any on so I asked for more and he tried charging me again. I didn’t mind paying I just asked why he kept raising the price on the cheese? He was making up prices and when I asked him why he started getting loud… Saying we have the best f***ing pizza don’t question me and that if I didn’t like it I could f*ck off… Anyway they lost a good customer because of that one employee, I don’t recommend anyone should go there because nobody deserves to be treated like that.

Wanted some pizza ya know. on a Sunday night, so I found this place and decided to give them a try since my last pizza experience nearby was horrible. So I walk into this place and it was dark, not my style. Since it was a Sunday night I guess they weren’t as busy, since my friend and I were the only ones there. Took a look at their menu for 7 – 10 min and ordered to find out all they had for single slices was what was behind the glass. so I made my choice to go with that white slice with the cotton ball lookin cheese on top. The young lady heated it up in that oven back there. Aside from the visual presentation of dry-looking pizza the slice was one of the best most deliciously mouth watering crunchy tasty flavorful and affordable($ 3) slice of white pizza with cotton ball looking cheese i have had. plus with no customers while i was there they kept the tv on. And the tables and counters looked clean. Give them a chance. Even the crust tasted good.

My husband and I literally just had our first slice about 5 minutes ago! We got ½ plain and ½ sausage and it was outstanding! Our new place!

Pizza gets 4 stars, ambience a 2. I had a sausage slice & a plain + a small coke for $ 7. Pretty good pizza, but I’m a tough critic. Saviano’s is the popular place around here, but this pizza is as good or better.

Great pizza. I’d say that this is the best pizza outside of NYC. Great service. Great food.

They make a nice pizza pie, pepperoni is always tasty when we order it. We’ve had eggplant parm, chicken parm and garlic knots. They are always fresh and tasty. One time we ordered chicken ceaser salad which was prepared well but the large size salad didn’t feed 2 adults too well. In fairness they did admit to the size of the salad so we weren’t surprised but hoped we could add it as a side to the pizza. The nicest convenience is that they are one of a few in this area who deliver

Formerly Sam’s Pizza of Bohemia. Been there«since the dark ages.» Small place, but fast service. Pizza’s decent. «It is what it is,» don’t expect a five-star restaurant but for a «local pizza joint» it’s good. There’s a deli/grocery place right next door so that could be convenient for picking up odds and ends, or a cup of coffee or whatever, at the same time.

Great selection of fresh and interesting pizza slices ready and waiting for you! As a Bohemian I’ve been around the block and keep coming back here. Especially after seeing the lack of selection and ‘dried out’ sad-looking pizza at other local Pizzarias. Not a fancy place to eat dinner, you might want to take-out, but comfortable enough for a quick lunch.

Like most people, about Noon I get hungry. The problem with working on Vets Highway around the Airport is that there are precious few«good» places to go. If you are looking for a quality pizza place, look no further than Buona Fortuna. In my many visits, I have sampled a lot of the fare. There isn’t a bad item on the menu, IMHO. Plenty of parking, friendly counterman, reasonable prices.
