An excellent choice! The atmosphere is that of an Alaskan hunting lodge… natural woods and high ceilings. A huge fireplace accompanied by a spacious bar bring the feeling of warmth and welcome to the establishment. The waitstaff was on-their-toes.prompt, professional and attending to our every special request. The food was delightfully fresh and well prepared. The meat was cooked as ordered. The house dressing for the salad was an excellent choice. It did not overpower the fresh greens and vegetables. It enhanced their flavor. Keep it up, Copper River. You offer a really nice experience for the price.

A great dining choice if you are in the Spartanburg area. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. I recommend the Chicken Quesadilla as a starter. And the Prime Rib sandwich was great as well. The sweet tea wasn’t to sweet and topped off a great meal. Atmosphere was great and inviting. Staff was attentive and worked hard.

4of us went here for lunch today. Place was slam packed with people but the service was still pretty good. Food portions were large, which is always okay with me. I had the Kodiak chicken, but unfortunately it was dry and required extra sauce. The side salad was delicious and the pizza was decent. Seems like the menu is hit or miss but I would come again.

This was my first visit to this Copper River location. I ordered the lunch baby back ribs. Those were the driest, saddest, leanest, ribs I have ever had. No restaurant should serve ribs that dry and tasteless. I did not send them back because after that experience I didn’t want to risk another food fail. I have typically enjoyed their food, but not this location.

The food is AMAZING! I ordered the almond chicken wrap and my husband ordered a fire grilled pizza. For dessert we ordered the white chocolate banana pudding. The wrap was just a little on the spicy side, which was unexpected but overall the flavor was marvelous. I also ordered the fettuccini for my side– it was literally the most delicious pasta I’ve ever had. The banana pudding– I thought the white chocolate was ever so slightly overwhelming but my husband loved it. Our waiter, Brian S, was very personable and friendly. He was extremely helpful in aiding us in deciding from the menu We live over an hour away from this restaurant– we were just passing through from a trip and decided to stop– but we are honestly considering planning our next holiday around passing back through so we can come back!

I love love loooooove this restaurant! It’s like a higher end Denny’s. The service is AMAZING and the prices are fair, too! Try out the Big Foot’s Mother in Law!(:

Been a couple of years since I have been here. House side salad is iceberg lettuce and pretty weak besides the egg, bacon, nuts etc they throw on there. The buttered/sugared croissants are deadly but great. The blackened salmon sandwich was delicious but a bit salty. Booth was a bit dirty. Too many other good restaurants in Spartanburg at same pricing level to warrant returning here.

Four of us came here for lunch midweek. We got right in and were seated at a table immediately without a reservation. There was some confusion on the ice tea ordering — regular versus sweet tea. «Regular» means sweet tea. I ordered the Mobbed salad without the bacon or crispy things. It came as ordered and with the dressing in the side. It was delicious. The crumbled blue cheese added so much. Atmosphere a little loud(chatty) and music too low. Good spot for a salad.

Very attractive restaurant both inside & out. Large, varied menu. I had the Tupelo almond chicken wrap, that started out great, but somewhat lost it’s taste as it went along — I think it just needed to be prepared better and with more of the dressing inside as the chicken was overdone — I would have asked for more dressing on the side, but our waiter was MIA. He did show up to give us our check, but never checked back with us during the meal. The person I was with had a burger, which he said was really very good. The fries were hot & well done, but nothing great. We also had some of the Copper River Reds, which is a type of deep fried onion — they were okay, but I wouldn’t order them again; too much batter & not enough onion. Might give it another try since one of us liked their meal. It was kind of expensive, so would hope for better food and much better service.

This place was great!!! We were staying at the Days Inn across the street and they recommended this place. We had a fabulous dinner — love, love, loved the house dressing(a combo of honey mustard and hot bacon dressing) so much that I have been thinking about it ever since. They are a little bit bacon-centric… They should probably cut back a bit on that LOL. My daughter’s potato soup really should have been called bacon soup. Believe me, I love bacon, but it was a bit overwhelming. Other than that, the place was great. Our server was wonderful and I loved the layout/décor of the restaurant. Would love to eat here again sometime if I’m in the area.

Ate at CRG this past weekend. Excellent food and service. I had the grilled chicken Caesar salad. The wife had the BBQ ribs. Definitely on the top of my list to be visited frequently.

Since when do places of business allow their bartenders to tend to their texts and phones while«working»? I was never asked if I liked my meal(which I didn’t), if I’d like anything else, water! etc. The Mobb salad was just ok, with soggy onion rings, or whatever they call them, and the soups was just ok as well. Nothing aggravates me more than receiving a pen that doesn’t work to sign my credit card statement. On my travels, this is the second time I’ve been to this chain and it is what one would expect for a chain.

I had the Bigfoot’s Mother-In-Law burger, which consisted of a giant burger patty, grilled ham, crispy-fried shrimp, Monterrey Jack, remoulade sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onions & pickles. I must say this was one of the biggest, sloppiest(in a good way), and most tasteful burgers I have ever eaten! It was HUGE, so big, I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Our waitress was very accommodating and prompt as well.

Just in a whim, we stopped in after church. We had not eaten at Copper River in years. It was so good! We had the Copper River Salads & they were great. It was a packed house & we got our food in 5 minutes!

Food was excellent and the service was superb. I recommend the queso smashed potatoes. Was expecting spicy but was not disappointed with the flavor and taste abiet mild. My steak was very flavorful. The creamy horseradish was fantastic. Atmosphere was friendly and family positive! My waitress Ashley was awesome! She really took care of my needs.

We started off sitting in bar area. Had a polmagranite martini which was perfectly mixed and chilled. For the appitizer we had the baked parmigian crab dip. It comes with warm garlic toast wedges. I crab in the dip was much more noticeable w/o using the bread. When we wanted to move to a table, we where told we had to pay tab at bar and couldn’t take it to table. My wife ordered the salmon with a Caesar salad and steamed broccoli. The salmon had a fantastic honey-teriyaki sauce and it was cooked perfectly. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and steak with house salad and loaded baked potato. Salad had egg bacon bits almonds along with normal fixings. Home made balsamic dressing was tasty. I ordered the steak med. rare(is there another way?) but came well done. Manager came over, apologized and re-fired the steak to perfection. But when eating the crab stuffed shrimp, watch out for the shrimp tails(can’t see because of all the crab dressing. Over all service and food was above average. Will definitely go bCk again.

Around 7:30pm on 12÷5÷2014… we were sort of slim on options where we’d eat. This is Spartanburg County for ya… very slim offerings of restaurants unlike what Greenville has. I wanted to go to FATZ, but I wanted something a little different, so we decided to hit here! Food’s quite pricey, but the portions you’re getting make it worth it! Service was surprisingly quick, and our waitress was named«Amber» if I recall correctly, she was blonde too. Going simple, I got the«chicken-fried tenders» and a side of fries. The breading on them was similar to the«Calabash Chicken» at FATZ, which is nice, but flavor-wise, not as much. Fries are fries, but better than what FATZ has. Copper River also serves personal-pan pizzas, and maybe I’ll try one on my next visit. I mean, the variety of food here is good… I’d like to come back, as that was a quite pleasant experience at Copper River Grill in Boiling Springs.

Service was terrible, we had to beg for refills, cocktails were not mixed well. Waited 20 – 30 minutes between each course. I felt like I was on an episode of Bar Rescue, Restaurant edition. Except it was before the rescue happened. It was my first time to this restaurant, and it will definitely be my last. Poor experience all around! Beware fellow Unilocalers!

So good! Our waiter was so friendly and pleasant! The portions are big and the food is delicious! I had the Long Island Ice Tea, it was better than what I get in L. I!
