All About Games

We have made multiple purchases form this game shop. Every time I go in with questions or a list of genders and ages to buy for family over the holidays and I always receive excellent help and options. They are more expensive than Amazon but I am paying for advice when I shop here.

So disappointed! I purchased a game that didn’t have all of the pieces included. When I tried to return it, they gave me a «tough luck» attitude. I have a receipt, and the sales gal even remembered my purchase, but sadly they said it was between me and the game manufacturer. I want to shop there, as they are a local business, but if I can’t feel confident about a purchase, I won’t spend my money there. I’m also astounded that they are willing to lose a customer over a lousy 10 bucks. Customer service is really important.

Cute little store in downtown Boise. The employee didn’t interact with any customers. He was sitting behind the counter watching YouTube videos of college football highlights. Lol.

This place rocks. I have been overly impressed every time I shop here (which is becoming more frequent as Christmas approaches). The staff is wonderful & very helpful. They’ll help you select a game, play a game, explain a game to you… The owner is especially nice & accommodating. A couple of things that set this place apart: 1. They take American Express (thank you very much for NOT being picky about how I give you my money!). 2. One of the gals that works here is very sweet… and she recently had a baby. This place allows her to bring her child to work. She maintains her professionalism and is a wonderful employee and I am happy to see a small business support a new family. 3. You can rent games here for pretty darn cheap! We rented a family game over Thanksgiving that was so fun. 4. They have a rewards program that gets you discounts on future purchases — no card or email required, they just track it automatically so you accrue points without accruing spam.
I highly recommend this local games store. They have great games, toys, and lots of gift ideas. Next time you need a gift, stop by here instead of Target. You’ll be supporting a local, downtown, awesome business and have a unique gift to give that birthday boy or girl!
