I was pretty underwhelmed when I walked into this store. Took my sister here to get some souvenirs. Specific idaho, boise stuff and there selection was lack luster. Most of there shirts have to be made very few grab and go. They did have some local idaho food items and wine selections but nothing that jumped out at me and the prices were outrageous. And there location isn’t the best. There was a sign saying there moving and there location in the mall closed. I felt bad as we made a special trip down to the store. Ended up getting more stuff at the bsu store around the corner.

Good products but nasty attitude from staff. Not a fun shopping experience.

The guy made the wrong size shirt for us. Not sure how you confuse a request for an XL shirt with a kid’s large size. When asked to do an exchange, he tells me he wouldn’t normally do that and that he needs to charge $ 5 more. Good customer service would apologize for the confusion and do the correct shirt. No fussing and no extra charge given the inconvenience.

Standard tourist shop with Idaho shirts and snacks. Pricey, and limited stock. The staff was kind of in his own world and didn’t really talk to us.

It’s smaller than you’d think from reading these reviews and you have other options, like local grocery stores for the Idaho candy for example. Or the airport. I took the last three huckleberry lollipops from here, and then found them for the same price at the airport. Bt other good gifts here are tater soap, huckleberry Chapstick and lotions that are not found as readily elsewhere.

If you happen to be in boise and are looking for a giftshop to get souvenirs, this is the place to go! The guy working at the counter was friendly and there were so many different gifts to choose from to bring back home. The chocolate covered potato chips were good! I couldn’t stop eating them! I should’ve bought more! :P

This store has an amazing array of Idaho treats and souvenirs. Some of the items are classy, like the huckleberry candles(which smell pretty amazing), and some are kitschy, like the Bitch Creek beer or the postcards(my favorite!!!). When I first visited here I bought huckleberry gummies and chocolate-dipped potato chips to bring back to my friends at home, and they still ask when I can bring them back more. I think this is a neat little store that appeals to both locals and tourists. My parents live nearby in Nampa and bought a bunch of things to make into Idaho giftbaskets for all of their friends in other states. And I, the tourist, was into just about everything there(especially the postcards!!!).

How can I not give a store an extra star for beer called Bitch Beer? I went nuts over at the Idaho Spuds chocolate section. Yes, I like to try weird state foods. I draw the line at Chips dipped in Chocolate. I ate those Reese’s chip dip ones and I hated it. So no go there. Tons of t-shirts with cute and weird sayings about the spud and Idaho. Keychains, postcards, spoons, shot glasses… you name it, they have it. I like the distinctive wines they offer, and of course I bought the Huckleberry white chocolate mocha packs. Damn if I didn’t also buy the Huckleberry honey. OOOO… honey… The lady at the counter was informative and sweet. Much like the locals here. They are friendly and brisk. They only accept MC and VISA… that means Jerry Seinfeld can’t shop here with his AMEX card… sorry Jerry better luck next time.

What would Boise, Idaho be without a store named Taters? They sell jams, crates of potatoes, wines shirts, chocolates… all products made with pride in the state of Idaho. You can have a ‘6’ pack of Idaho potatoes sent to a friend. The staff was knowledgeble and helpful. They packed gifts for me to bring back home. Thanks!
