Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great beer selection. Full bar for the non-beer drinkers. TV’s for catching all the sports. Free popcorn! A locally owned establishment with top notch servers. A great place to bring your 1st date, your family, friends, even the grandparents will enjoy a visit here! I love the place & will certainly be back soon!

Burger & Brew is one of my favorite local hangouts. There is always someone I know at the bar or having a beer with friends, and the wait staff is always nice and pleasant. I usually go there for drinks, but my son will choose B&B’s chicken wings over any other restaurant in town. You can think of him as a wings connoisseur. And they put my soccer games when I ask them to. A win-win no matter how you look at it.

I went to Burger and Brew on Friday night. Here’s my take. 1. Ambiance: The restaurant has clearly seen better days. At first glance the restaurant looked dirty. Food and popcorn littered the floor everywhere.(They serve free popcorn). I felt like the lights were set too high and the restaurant was really bright inside which made the dirty floors look worse to me. The menus were also dirty and I was afraid to touch them. 2. Service: Our server fast fast friendly and attentive. He was awesome. 3. Food: The food was okay. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but wasn’t the worst. We had finger steaks and they were homemade. The portions were generous, the food was fresh. But it just wasn’t appetizing for me after seeing the dirty floors and menus. This is not somewhere where I would go back to until it was cleaned up.

Horrible food and horrible owner. When you tell them about undercooked food they laugh at you and don’t seem to care.

Good food and reasonable prices. Lots of TVs. Coffee wasn’t that great. Clean and roomy.

Very cool interior, more like comfy, laid back bar, good for games, sessions, what have you. Food seems like it could use some work. Seafood platter was lots and lots of grease, but very little flavor. With how much bar food has been elevated lately and is trending hot, this one is way behind the curve. If they raised the level of the cuisine, this place definitely has solid potential, but as it is, fairly bland, rather average food, middle-of-the-road as far as menu choices and quality. Could be playing a bit too safe and maybe they’re more interested in the bar side, but overall, not such a good choice if not drinking.

They have mediocrity down to a science. If your thing is deep fried, you’ll love it, but if not, just keep driving. They haven’t changed their menu in years. Gave it 2 stars because they do have a nice choice of good beer.

I have to say, we were surprised. It’s dark and a bit outdated but the burgers are fantastic! I had a Bleu Cheese burger and my husband had the Mushroom Burger. French fries were done perfectly. The burgers were juicy and flavorful. I tried the mushrooms on my husband’s burger. I could have eaten an entire plate of just those. Service was great and friendly. Popcorn was hot and buttery! Don’t let outside deter you. Definitely worth a visit!

While my wife and I go here a lot(its close to our house), and most of the time its solid, sometimes you just seem to catch them on an «off» night. Good: — Bleu cheese bacon burger is great. Really good fresh thick crispy bacon. — The mud-pie(ice cream cake type thing) for desert is great(but plan on splitting it!) — Family friendly place, great if you want to be at a place you can catch a game, have cheap beer, and also have your kids. Bad: — Sometimes the service just sucks. We’ve been probably a dozen times, and one time particularly stood out as really bad(no coffee refills, no water, etc.; just because we only ordered desert that time). Usually its decent. — Doesn’t always seem«spick and span» levels of cleanliness. Its ok… just not how I would do it. Overall, its a great place. Its the best place we’ve found for burgers in the Boise area. We will be back lots!

Great place and a Boise institution. The service is relaxed but good. The renovation last year looks awesome. The food is good, different burgers, homemade finger steaks, and great nachos. Awesome place to chill and have a few beers from their great tap selection.

Great burgers and respectable beer selection as you would hope for from the name. I didn’t go before the remodel so I don’t have a point of reference to compare some of the older reviews but it was clean and well put together. The onion rings and Wing Zingers were delicious. I’m not a big wings fan but they fry them in a light batter making them crispy before they sauce them — I’m now of fan of zingers. The service was oustanding — thanks Troy! I’ll definitely be back for more.

This place is on my short list. The prices are good, service is great, the food is always good(especially the finger steaks and Rib Eye sandwich), a full bar with drink prices that won’t break the bank, and lot’s of TV’s to watch a game. What more could you ask for. Like some others said before, the place was looking a little tired, but they just did a major remodel and it looks like new again. I highly recommend you give it a try.

I’ve been coming to the ‘Brew off and on for a couple of years. While this place has always had a charm of it’s own I must say that the renovations that are taking place are really what this place needed. The service is always top notch and the atmosphere has always been very relaxing. It is a great place to relax and have a good meal or sit at the bar and watch a game on tv. The menu showcases a great selection of unique burgers and sandwiches but also features everything from Hot Wings to Rib Eye Steak(one of my favorites). I have never been disappointed with the food and have always found the quality to be great value for the dollar. I have to also say that this will be my stop from now on for St Pats. The corned beef last night was some of the best I’ve ever had. First Rate!

We dropped in on a Tuesday evening for burgers and brew. Firstly, I was surprised at how busy they were – the parking lot was near full and, when we entered, the bar area was full as was one of the dining rooms. I don’t know what the deal was(especially since someone had mentioned coming on a Saturday evening to find it completely dead). The service was fantastic. We were promptly seated and our server was courteous and attentive throughout our meal. They had popcorn available to munch on while waiting for your food(you had to get it yourself… but still… a plus for bar munchies). We sat in the dining area, which had about as much ambiance as my beer guzzling Uncle Fred’s «man room” – fortunately, however, it smelled better. The beer selection was decent and if you’re not a beer drinker, they have a full bar as well. I ordered their cheeseburger and fries and my dining companion ordered their guacamole burger and fries. The cheeseburger was solid – a bit ordinary, but overall fine. My dining companion’s guacamole burger was a little perplexing. It is billed as one of their knife and fork burgers – the idea being that it is so smothered in loveliness that it would require a knife and fork to eat. And, it did indeed come open-faced with a knife and fork, but it was completely unnecessary as it could have easily been eaten the traditional way without a problem. The veggies on both of the burgers were fresh and my dining companion reported that the guacamole was made with fresh avocados. The fries were decent and they offered us ketchup, ranch, or fry sauce with them(I do love when a place offers fry sauce – it’s a Boise tradition). Except for the wonderful service – overall, a sort of ho-humish experience – nothing was overly awful but nothing was terribly outstanding either.
