If I’m in the mood for some dancing, Humpin’ Hannah’s is definitely the place to go! I love the layout(two stories, with compartmentalized areas, i.e. if you just want to play pool, you can be away from the drunk dancing folk), the separate entrance/exit, and the unique décor. Rocky Johnson is such a cool person, and she’s created an awesome place to hang out! The bartenders are nice, the drinks are good, the prices are fair, and the music is loud! Perfect place for a girl’s night out.

Hannahs is always a good time. It’s huge so you can always find a place to get comfortable. Music is always great. Drinks are awesome. Only thing that sucks is prepare to wait in a long line if your getting there late. And if you smoke prepare to wait in it to get back in every time!

Hannah’s is great, especially on Wednesdays. Cheap beer and a great selection, generous pouring of bourbon, and although pool tables can be packed the atmosphere makes it worth the wait for an opening. See ya there!

I love the bartenders and drinks. However, When we went there for Halloween it was like. .if you know the owner or someone from the band you will have a great time. I can’t tell you how many times myself and a few others got the cold shoulder and treated poorly. If I ever come back, it is only because the bartenders are awesome and knows how to make really good drinks. Oh, and the lead singer(99% sure that she is also the owner). …I think she is in love with herself and every time I have gone in, she is always the one on stage. If you look at the photos on Facebook or anywhere involving the place, it is 98% Pictures of her.

I really like this place. It is very unique, weird, and qwerky. Whenever I have friends in town I always introduce them to Hannah’s. It isn’t your run of the mill location at all. Between the separate entrance/exit, the décor, even the nightly music selection, it is a trip. I am not a fan of the smell but to me, that comes with your average dive bar. Just try it, once! You will talk about it forever!

Hannah’s is a Boise institutions and Rocci Johnson is so gracious. I honestly never go to that side of the downtown pub crawl. When I found out how much they give back to the community/how philanthropically involved they are, I was blown away. They are very gracious and so generous. Few business are as interested in giving back so much. Def the place to go to dance your butt off on a Friday night. It’s always a good time. Plus, I like to support those who support Boise!

Typical college club dump. Suitable for most gutter trash. I’m not saying everyone that goes there is; some people just don’t know better. Some people know exactly what they’re doing and its usually in line with their modus operandi. I went here once to see what all the hooplah was about and against my better judgement from the door, went in. Ugh… you can smell the filth and over-sprayed AXE deodorant. Its something of a group orgy on the«dance» floor. There is no actual dancing going on here. Its more of a bunch of wiggling bodies smashing around. Its just gross. Yeah… I’m probably just old(the euphemism for«I’m worth better than that»).

I enjoyed my Halloween night at Hannah’s. The drinks were strong, the entertainment on stage was fun, and the crowd was getting wild. I got a couple moscow mules, which were served in copper cups, although you had to put a deposit on them, which I thought was silly. We went upstairs and played pool for a while. Overall, a fun place. Didn’t enjoy the 30 – 40 minutes we had to wait in line to get in though!

Probably have the best pool tables on the main strip. There’s always bands playing here but usually the same group performs everytime. They’re expensive but they have at least a doZen waitresses so they’re service kicks butt. Great place to go to after midnight but that’s if you like a crowded bar. Otherwise stick to weekdays and on weekends go during happy hour when is nice and quite

The lead singer needs to retire. Her voice is shot and every time we stop in, she’s on stage. WTF is the whole place built so she can sing drunk karaōke all night? On the other hand the environment is nice and the décor is pretty cool. Just need better background«noise» aka music.

Very fun place! Great set up, good drinks and love the live music. Probably my favorite bar in Boise so far.

Have to say this is one of the greatest bar set ups in all of Boise. Two levels. And each level is separated into two sides. Always pretty good drink specials. Bar tenders poor good. One downfall I would have to say is the live music with rocky Johnson.

I begin my Journey through the noisy, obnoxious cesspool that is Hannah’s, at the door. Acknowledged by a bouncer who nodded at me and then promptly walked away, I walked through the door only to be violently grabbed and swung around by my shoulder, with a 300 pound skinhead bouncer staring me in the eyes, and saying«hey, man. You think you can just walk right past me?» Well, of course I did, because you didn’t check my I.D. and you nodded at me. It set the tone for what would turn out to be a horrible night. The place is crowded and I had to wait easily 5 minutes to get a bartender to even acknowledge my existence. When I did finally get my drink, it tasted… awful. As far as I know, a «splash of water» does not mean«as much water as whisky.» The sound system is, admittedly, very good, and the band that played that night was excellent. But, unfortunately, I’ve heard Journey’s «Small Town Girl» enough times for my own good and I’d prefer to hear something a little fresher. Maybe clubs just aren’t my thing. I think I’ll stick to bars that are a little more quiet and friendly.

I came here to watch a friend’s band perform and checked Unilocal before I left the house. One reviewer on here had me VERY nervous about the prices. I was pleasantly surprised that, not only was she wrong, but the prices for drinks were über reasonable. Not horribly crowded but definitely busy for a Friday night.

Saturday’s are ladies night && we get in free! The Rocci Johnson band(sp?) is always rocking! She sings a huge variety of songs there is something that every person will like. Just this last time I was there she sang, Rhianna, to Nirvana, to Journey, to Black eyed peas. The band has a great set list & really know how to keep up with what the dance floor wants. The drinks seem fair priced, when you watch the staff make them, they use a TON of alcohol. We ordered 6 drinks and it was 25 $ which seemed fair to me. Bathrooms are clean & there is also lots of sitting room/and a big pool room, but the dance floor is where it’s at!!!

Do not deal with waitresses here and you will have a good time. Went out with some friends to catch up on 2÷4÷2012, and the very first impression we got from the waitress was rudeness. She blew my husband off complete with a hand signal and ignored him. Then we close out our tab for the night at the bar, and I signed the receipt for $ 74.00. Checked my bank account today, and they charged and took out the $ 74.00, and now there are also two more pending charges on top of the already paid $ 74.00 for $ 37.75 and $ 14.00. Also, we had to guard our drinks all night, because the waitress would come by the table and take half empty drinks while my friends were not there. Should be able to leave our drinks at the table we are sitting at without them being taken when we paid $ 6.00 or so for each drink, without putting a tables worth of glasses in front of me lolol. Rip off. If it weren’t for the shady waitresses, this place would be awesome. We still had a good time in spite of it, but it really left a bad taste in my mouth. TL;DR — would be better place and review if they didn’t have shady cocktail waitresses who will rip you off if you give them half a chance.

I have been here quite a few times before but will not be going back. We were there 1÷14÷2012. We ordered a couple of drinks and were kind of shocked at the price, $ 23.50, but we paid and the waitress basically said«I don’t make the prices the bartender does.» So we decided to order ourselves from the bar and we ordered the exact same drinks, and the price was only $ 16.00. We told the bartender about what the waitress had charged us and he said«I don’t make the prices, the waitress does.» So exactly who is in charge of making the prices? Obviously the waitress was overcharging and lining her own pockets. So apparently there are no set drink prices and they can charge you whatever they feel like at this place. Very shady.

Even though I hated Idaho and couldn’t stand it one bit of my life. Hannah’s was a place where I would actually remember having fun at. Rest of time was depression in the no good state of Idaho. I went here several times when I was an GI at Mtn. Home AFB. This place is great for people that want to relax and have a good time. Live music, pool, different variety of clientele, and great atmosphere.
