Gluten free crust better than any flour crust in Boise. There is artistry to these pies with topping combinations that are crazy with flavor. Call in on your way down from Bogus for the perfect end to a day of skiing.

Lulu’s has one of the coolest vibes of all the pizza places in Boise! It’s a somewhat small restaurant that serves pizzas, salad, and surprise — sushi? I ordered the dessert breadsticks and a large salad and both were great! The breaksticks were HUGE and covered in cinnamon sugar and buttery goodness, complete with a tasty icing dipping sauce. The salad had plenty of toppings and was a good value. Prices were reasonable and the service was decent. As far as entertainment goes, there was live music setting up when I was leaving and a TV to watch sports or whatever fits your fancy. Nice little stop on your way to and from Bogus!

Came in with low expectations. Turned out to be a great spot. I got the meatball sandwich and my wife got the tri-tip. Both were excellent. The bread was fresh, perfectly toasted, and flavorful. If you are on your way back from bogus and need a solid sandwich give this place a shot. We will be back. Almost forgot, great beer and wine selection.

It blows my mind that ANYONE has given Lulu’s a sub-par rating. This is our go-to spot for a slice of ‘za. The pizza is thin and crispy and the salads are mounding and flavorful. We wish it was closer to our house because we would go a lot more often! You can order whole pies or by-the-slice, making it a great choice for an anytime meal. Food: I have yet to try something on Lulu’s menu that I don’t like. While my husband normally gets 2 slices, I almost always gravitate toward the salads, which are huge and super flavorful. The cheese & basil is the best slice of pizza I’ve had, but my husband claims the jalapeño popper pizza is out of this world. It’s hard to go wrong, no matter what slice you choose. The scapegoat salad is my favorite and comes out in a very big portion. The breadsticks are also really unique and a big serving. They don’t skimp! We have never tried their sushi. Drinks: Self-serve soda and they always have a lemon/cucumber water. I like that they serve lots of local beers and hard ciders as well. Atmosphere: It’s almost always lively during lunch time but it’s never hard to find a seat. They have TV’s for sports and cute décor up on the walls. I like their big patio and that its dog-friendly. Service: Man, the folks behind the counter are always smiling and happy. They serve up your food crazy-fast, too! That’s the benefit of by-the-slice ordering. Happy Hour Offerings: Daily lunch specials – 2 slices and a drink or 1 slice and a side salad. Healthy Hack: I love Lulu’s because when my husband wants pizza(which is often), I can get a totally filling, healthy salad… And they have so many to choose from. Lulu’s does it right! Tips: n/a

Lulu’s has hands-down probably one of the best gluten free pizza crusts in the Treasure Valley. Not your average thin, cardboard-like crust that you find with most gluten free pizzas. They have a doughy, fluffy hand-tossed crust that makes you remember what real pizza tastes like. My favorite topping combination is the North Ender — veggies and a garlic sauce with plenty of cheese. I will knock one star off for the price. Pizzas here in general, and even more so gluten free pizzas will set you back a pretty penny. But well worth it in my opinion for some excellent gluten free pizza eats.

Stopped in for a quick slice to go. Saw that there was a sushi bar so figured I would order a roll and a slice. While waiting numerous people walked up to ask the status of their roll so at that point I knew I was in for the long haul. 30 minutes later I got a cold piece of pizza and the roll. The positive is the roll(firecracker) was very good. Unfortunately the cold pizza, that looked like it had been sitting for hours, left a bad taste in my mouth. It tasted like it had potential to be good but it wasn’t. If you’re going to put«pizza» in your name you should make sure it’s on point, otherwise change the name to Lulus Sushi. Recommend calling ahead for the sushi.

The only thing wrong with this place was that when you walk in there to the right is a sushi bar and left pizza and they are in the same establishment… Idk but sushi and pizza does not sound appetizing together, however… The pizza we ate was pretty good!!! That’s why it got 4 stars!

Thank you Mason! You made our night! The pizza: ½ basil/pepperoni ½ Hawaiian. Delicious! The crust was perfectly browned, toppings regulated yet plentiful. Perfection. BTW– sushi in the side= heaven!

Favorite place! Athenian pizza is probably the best I’ve had! And the awesome bonus at Lulu’s is the awesome sushi! Crane creek roll, caterpillar roll, and spicy tuna are a must! The staff is pretty cool most of the time. And it’s a little cool inside. But the food is awesome! Good wine and beer as well. Green valley salad is delicious as well!

Great location to meet up with friends after/before Bogus Basin trip. Big parking spots and they have $ 5 lunch special, very good value, you get 2BIG slices of cheese/basil pizzas and soft drink. The pizzas are good, not greasy, thin crust, and the sauce is delicious. The inside of restaurant is cozy. Will come back.

Awesome pizza but they close way too early. Higher priced pizza but can be well worth it. Great beer and wine selection is a big bonus.

Great spot for pizza and sushi alike. The Margherita pizza and Cesar salad have become a staple for my beau and I. Also, split a large Hawaiian for girls night and it was a huge, literally, success. Dine in or delivery are both great options as service is prompt and friendly either route. Side note: Superb sushi downtown is closed on Sunday(along with most other sushi joints), so if you’re having a craving run over to Lulu’s they have a sushi chef there all day!

I would give Lulu’s a 5+++++. The food is absolutely amazing! And the staff so helpful and nice. Great beer selection too! BUT Everytime I’ve been there it’s freezing and I just want to walk out right after I walk in. End up sitting there trying to enjoy my food and more importantly my cold beer while tensing up and shivering. I was even wearing a coat or sweater the last times I was there so it’s not like I was sitting there feeling a cold breeze due to lack of clothing. I get that they have to work around a pizza oven and I’m sure they have to get hot, but I think the comfort of the customers is a little more important. Sorry guys! You seriously rock though!

This place is Ok. The jalapeño pepperoni pizza was good, I also had the BBQ chicken which was fine. A little greasy, definitely New York style, thin crust, with a large bread rim; I’m a Chicagoan– so not my preference– but it tasted just fine. A bit pricey for pizza considering you can make 10 – 12 sales from baking one pie but, the slices are large.

I just paid 12.50 for a caprese sandwich, small soup, and a wee bag of chips… No drink. Are you serious?! Not even a very large sandwich at that. I have got this same thing multiple times and it seems like it started at around 10 bucks after tax, and suddenly it’s just to nearly 13 dollars. Their pizza is alright to grab since I work across the street, but never will I pay this much for an «ok» sandwich and soup again. I also just worked out the math here… Sammich cost: 7.99 + $ 1 for soup, then assuming they charge for chips, that’s maybe another $ 1. So 9.99. How the hell did I pay 12.50… Twice in a row now. Last time they just gave me a drink cup to «make it even».

Extremely poor service, and the calzone we ordered was cold and uncooked in the middle, and the crust was both doughy and soggy. The place was so cold we had to keep our coats on the entire time we were there. These folks don’t know how to make pizza.

We would have liked to try Lulu’s Pizza but they refused to deliver to our house, which is in their advertised delivery area, by 6 roads off of State Street. The guy on the phone was not terribly rude but certainly not helpful.

Dishonest and unnecessarily rude owner/staff has no qualms about trying scam customers. Purchased a Living Social deal for what Lulu’s advertised as, «medium pizza, large Valley Green salad, and breadsticks(a $ 32 value).» When we tried to redeem our voucher by ordering«medium pizza, large Valley Green salad, and breadsticks», we were told that the deal was supposed to be for a 1 topping pizza only and we had to pay extra money for anything else. The Lulu’s manager tried to(erroneously) claim that it was Living Social’s fault for not stating that the deal was only good for a one topping pizza… This is complete BS. First, according to Lulu’s menu, the total value of our order was exactly $ 29.89, clearly less than Lulu’s stated«$ 32 value» of the Living Social deal they sold. When I tried to explain this to the manager, she was not remotely concerned, and very rudely exclaimed, «it’s either my job or your coupon!» because, as she explained – the owner told her not to honor the Living Social deal as it was sold. Second, I’m pretty sure there had to be a signed agreement between Living Social and Lulu’s pizza. So, any discrepancies between the advertised deal and what Lulu’s arbitrarily chooses to honor is between Lulu’s and Living Social. To try to unscrupulously pass this on to a customer is dishonest and just plain stupid, bad business. Again, our order’s total was less than the«$ 32 value», so this issue is irrelevant anyway. It was bad enough that they chose to run a scam, but the completely unnecessary attitude and rudeness from the manager was pretty shocking. Not really sure how a business owner could possibly rationalize trying to scam/screw over customers or expect to stay in business with this kind of conduct.

I eat here at least once a week. The slices are a pretty good deal. The people who work there are really cool. I like the Athenian the best. The tomatoes marinated in balsamic on that pie are great. The sandwiches and soups are good too. Superb Sushi moved in when Ridley’s went belly up. It’s a little expensive for lunch but damn good. I like the firecracker and dragon’s breath rolls.
