By far the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I ordered a caramel breve and it tastes like watered down ice cream bar from the gas station melted down with plastic with a little bit of flavor in it, that doesn’t even taste like caramel. My mom also ordered a drink with mine and they FORGOT it and they were leaning on the counter talking badly about some of the people sitting in the lobby within earshot! The service was awful and the staff was extremely rude! I work in the coffee industry and I’m sad to see a coffee shop this awful that serves this horrible quality of coffee, I won’t be back. I miss café Capri and it wasn’t much better than this Moxie that took over the location. But at least the service was genuine & they were smiling when Capri was there. Every moxie java branch is the same in Boise. The coffee is burnt, the milk is watered down, the pastries are frozen & awful. It’s truly disappointing. They get the the one star for simply having their doors open and staying in business, but honestly I don’t see how most of the time.

I have been here about four times a week so far. Their Mexican Spiced Mocha is to die for. I haven’t been to another coffee shop since I’ve found out they’re back!!! This location is BACK!!! Just went there 10/09/2015 It is no longer a Café Capri. What it turned into when the three owners split their Moxie Java stores. I’m nosy I asked what happened. They divided the stores. One owner turned their stores into The Lucky Perk, the other Café Capri, and one kept the original Moxie Java. They have all new hires!(Yay because I boycotted Café Capri for the horrid and entitled baristas). Me so happy because I love Moxie!!!

Its not the best but it beats the corporate ripoff atmosphere of Starbucks. I like Java the best. Starbucks tends to have a burnt taste which I hate and the after taste you cant get rid of.

No. No no no. Every single time, every single branch, the coffee is burnt, too bitter, or gives me heartburn. The baristas aren’t very knowledgeable, and their house coffee is even worse. Worst 4 bucks you’ll ever spend. Don’t waste your time.

The bf is from Boise, Idaho. I hope that answers right off the bat what on Earth a SoCal girl is doing reviewing a place in Boise. Now on to the important stuff. Moxie. Java. Holy. Cow. You have the best coffee ever! Ever! EVER! The first thing I do when we land in Boise is not run and greet the fam, but rather beeline directly to the Moxie Java in the airport. Then when we get the luggage and hop in the car, we drive to another Moxie Java. This is why I’m shaking and have really high energy in Boise. I can’t stop going to Moxie. I just can’t. I’m addicted! They have a multitude of sugar free syrups, ranging from coconut to almond to spice to so many yummy options that its like a Sweet Factory exploded in my cup of coffee. YUM! Among my faves are the spiced mochas and iced almondias(iced almond latte). OMG I want one now. But I cant because I live in LA, and there isn’t a Moxie in sight. Perhaps they’d like me to open a franchise here in LA? Oh yeah, the bf just reminded me. They have marshmallow syrup. MARSHMALLOW! I’m freaking out.
