Oddly enough, we enjoyed our beer phlight and pint more than the Grind experience(see review for Grind Modern Burger), but there are a number of reasons for that. For one: THISBEERISAWESOME! Seriously, how had I waited so long to try this brew? It makes no sense. I’m slowly becoming a porter /stout fan(currently into BIG IPAs) and their Baltic Porter was a knockout. Seriously reminded me of Adam from Portland’s Hair of the Dog Brewing, which is, to me, a gigantic compliment. Their pale ale was a little lacking, but that can be forgiven as I imagine it was intended to be more of a crowd please. Their IPA went more in the right direction and peaked with the Condenser IPA. Seriously, it was one of the more pleasing IPAs that I’ve tried in our fair city. Berliner-Weisse was waaaay too tart for me, but I imagine it’s true to the style(just not my style). The next perk is a little random, but I really enjoyed 6 oz.(as opposed to 4) pours for the tasting phlight. This made sharing the phlight easy and we both got to actually taste each beer thoughtfully. Without rambling too much, I’ll say get in here and try Po-Mo’s beer. It rocks hard and doesn’t quit.
