I had a great experience with this clinic. I don’t have insurance, I am self employed, so I was worried about getting a huge out of pocket bill. This was my first time at this clinic. The Clinic was very helpful and up front about appointment costs and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Even helped me get a discount on the antibiotic I needed through Pharmacy Coupons .com My wrist had gotten infected and the infection was spreading up my arm. They offered to let me meet with the nurse before setting a walk in appointment to discuss my options. I didn’t want to chance it getting worse so I did a walk in apt. I met with Dr Martin, he was polite and professional and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this clinic. Great service! I was impressed.

I am a 26 year old female. My first time coming here was 2÷11÷15. The second was 5÷16÷15. Both were awful experiences, please don’t go here. 2⁄11: I usually try to avoid going to the doctor but I had been feeling really weak lately with muscle aches and dizziness. It really scared me because it made it nearly impossible to work or do anything, really. Fast forward past the waiting room: I waited for what seemed like a half an hour for my doctor once the nurse left the room. He finally hobbled in and at once his presence made me feel really uncomfortable. I didn’t like the way he looked at me and he mumbled like he was drunk — his last name was Deitchler. I started panicking on the inside and told him what was going on. Even though I did not have sore throat symptoms, fever or white spots in the back of my throat, he said I probably had strep and told me they would test for it. He told me to gargle with salt water and take ibuprofin for the body aches and for this grand advice I got a bill for $ 95, which was after my $ 20 copay. Before insurance, the bill showed one big charge of $ 145 for being a new patient. WOW. By the way, I ended up going to work anyways over the next few days, symptoms unresolved.(Which was really sketchy because my job is physically demanding and I work around hot equipment.) 5⁄16: I figured after that first bill, even though my doctor was terrible, I should come back and try for a different doctor since I already got past the new patient charge. How can they charge more for being established there right? Okay here we go, second chance here: I came in because my throat(thyroid area) felt swollen and I felt dizzy and weak again. I had two other weird, random issues too. This time the doctor was faster coming to see me and his last name was Martin. He seemed young. I told him I had concerns about my thyroid because that area seemed to be swollen and I felt weak, with some other symptoms too. He seemed annoyed that I had looked into what the problem could be and suggested it was strep throat. NOTAGAIN. They did another strep test. He then suggested if it wasn’t strep it was allergies and told me to go buy some Flonase. None of this resolved anything. My issues are still unresolved. I just got a bill for $ 149 after insurance and small copay. This bill has the same charges for the strep tests as the first bill, but instead of a new patient charge it shows an established patient charge. Guess what? The established patient charge is $ 70 more than my original new patient charge. I am enraged because I’ll end up paying almost $ 300 for terrible advice and assumptions from some incompetent doctors.

I feel I should post about our experience here today, February 14, 2015. My husband has been having some gastrointestinal issues, and we made an appt for a specialist that is still 2 weeks away. In the meantime, he has been having bloating and gas and irregular digestion, so we figured it warranted being seen just to make sure there’s nothing they can give him to help him be comfortable in the meantime. We arrived around 12 on Feb 14, a Saturday. There was nobody waiting to go back when we got there, so we checked in and sat down for a few minutes. The nurse came back and got us, then took us to a room and asked a bunch of questions(she was very nice and knowledgeable). She informed us she had one doctor working and he had about 3 people ahead of us. So we sat and waited for approximately 20 minutes. When the NP(nurse practitioner) came in, he introduced himself as Lane(didn’t catch his last name), mumbled the entire time, and seemed really fidgety(as in he could NOT stand still and listen). He asked my husband what was going on, and he told him, and he had him lay back and listened to his abdominal area with his stethoscope, pushed around on his abdomen and continued to mumble questions. «Does this hurt? How about this?» Then he proceeded to say, and I quote«We will test you for a bladder infection. That’s about all I can think it could be.» and turned and walked out. We were dumbfounded. How did intestinal issues with digestion problems and gas turn out to be a bladder infection? The nurse came and got my husband and took him for a urine sample, then came back in a few minutes later and said it was clean but there was a lot of sugar in it(my husband is Type 1 Diabetic). She then proceeded to test his blood sugar(again, what is the point of this?) and the NP came back in and mumbled that he couldn’t figure out what it was and if it got worse, he needed to go to the ER or else follow up with the specialist in a few weeks. Then they left and we were free to go. I wasn’t upset about the $ 30 copay, even though I feel we didn’t get ANYTHING for our money. I wasn’t even upset that they couldn’t find anything wrong(I wasn’t expecting them to pinpoint it, but an idea would have been nice). What I was most upset about was the provider and his crappy attitude. He was fidgety, mumbled the entire time, gave off an air of indifference, and didn’t even want to hear any of the concerns my husband had about what might have been going on with him. WEWILLNEVERGOBACKTOST. AL’S URGENTCARE. If you’re in need of a doctor fast, go to a Primary Health or the ER. The NPs and PACs at Urgent Care Facilities obviously give little to no shits about their patients and are clearly just trying to collect hours to move up the ranks. Horrible experience and we will never be going back.
