I am SO happy with my haircut!!! Kylin did my do. She was nice and funny and really comfortable to be with. I have always had long hair but was ready for a change. She was incredibly patient as I outlined my stringent specifics and respected that I really needed it to be a certain way. Then, to my happy surprise, she slowly cut it shorter and shorter and told me to tell her when to stop. This way I didn’t freak out when, at the end, I walked out with a crazy short cut crying! I have never had any one take so much time and care doing my hair before. And, I am SO happy with the result. Thank you so very much Kylin. You are awesome. (I WILL be back.)

Kylin is absolutely amazing here. She gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. And I couldn’t be more pleased with it. I already scheduled my next appointment & hair color. She listened carefully to everything I wanted & executed it perfectly. Safe to say I’ll be back for all my hair needs in the future!

The Beehive is so much fun. I’ve been a client for 3−4ish years and have received such great service. The staff is so nice, so accommodating (I reschedule fairly often and they’re so nice about it.) I’ve been in for haircuts/​color, blowouts, mani-​pedis, waxing, I’ve even taken my niece for shampoo and style. I love love love this place! Great for all ages. Easy location too with cheap street and lot parking.

This Salon is fantastic. Ask for Kylin when you go, she’s so good, will give you exactly what you didn’t know you wanted, and you’ll feel like you’re rekindling a relationship with an old friend. So nice, creative, and friendly you will get an amazing haircut, plus she is well versed in the variety of Air Force careers. A+

I took my 3 year old son there for a haircut, while I was talking to my mom in the waiting room the girl who gave him a haircut cut his ear a little bit enough to make his ear had dried blood when i found out and small cut and she didn’t even tell me about it, very unprofessional. I’m sorry to say but I won’t go back to this salon again.

The cutest salon in downtown Boise! Kylin always does a fabulous job with my hair and I recommend her to everyone I know! She takes the time to make sure her clients are happy and I always feel amazing when I leave! Thank you Kylin for always doing a great job!

Customer service is lacking. The lady that checks you in was awesome. The hairdresser not so much. According to them, every person in the air force must fly planes. And as she was doing my boyfriends hair I was sitting 3 feet away. The whole time I wasn’t acknowledged once. When I would try to contribute something to the conversation she would still ignore me. Why I pointed out that a part of his hair wasn’t cut she got an attitude w me and said that she can’t see it and that when she used the comb w her shears she kept a saying that it wasn’t picking up anything. She finally used the clippers w a guard and you could clearly hear it trim the longer hair. Not a place I’d ever want to go to again.

If you need an amazing salon to go to, definitely try the Beehive Salon! If you need an even more amazing stylist, give Kylin a try. I have gone to her more than once and I’m never disappointed. She’s professional, nice, and always so amazing. I told her what I wanted and walked out of the salon happier than ever. Thanks again Kylin!

This place is amazing!
I have been coming here with Moriah as my stylist for a few years and she rocks my hair every time! I always feel like she takes the time to get the details right and does quality work. I feel beautiful every time I walk out their door!
They have a great selection of products-​try the Bumble and Bumble line; it never disappoints.
The atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming. They are always great working with my hectic schedule and I feel they truly value my business.
Girls at the front desk are always super friendly and helpful.
Prices are competitive and reasonable.
If you are looking for a new stylist or just need to try someone new, call the Beehive Salon and let them make your day too!

Awesome service and top notch stylists. This place is amazing!!! Amber was able to work with my photos and customize my hair to exactly what I wanted. So talented and super sweet! And this place is right downtown, and has a private lot on the back of the building, so it’s super easy to get in and out. I would highly recommend!!!

If you’re looking for a new salon, give the Beehive a try! Samantha at the Beehive is talented, professional, and a very nice person. She is popular and deservedly so. Their new location in the Owyhee is gorgeous and getting nicer as they get settled in. The receptionists are very sweet and helpful, which is surprisingly unique for salons in Boise. The salon uses Bumble and Bumble products, which I love. My blonde highlights always look beautiful and seem to grow out more naturally than I’ve experienced elsewhere. I think their prices are reasonable– I usually pay around $ 115 for a cut and partial highlight (before tip).
