CASHONLY! It is not extraordinary. You come in. there is no sign in or ticket number, you just sit down and figure out the order on your own along with the 6 other people waiting. $ 5 basic haircut for men. There was not a single female who got a haircut during the 1.5 hours I was their. I guess they all knew that lower prices = less qualified barbers. The price is just right for the haircut I got. Nothing special but it got the job done. I would say that I got much better haircuts for $ 5. I would think twice before coming here again because the wait is about 30 minutes for a slightly below average haircut. But, yeah it gets the job done. All the other haircut places here are expensive, I got quoted $ 41 for a fade by Innovations hair salon. I would much rather pay $ 5 for a fade done by these people.

As a man who doesn’t have a lot of hair on top I have been looking for an inexpensive place to get a haircut for quite a while. One day I was driving in Bolingbrook and noticed a sign that said $ 5 haircuts. I walked in and 4 years later I’m a steady customer. Every 6 to 7 weeks I get my trim as my hair still grows on the sides and back. I even have a steady barber, Chaz, who does a great job. I’ve had a few of the ladies cut my hair as well and they spend a little extra time doing the trim just right and even trimming my eyebrows. I had asked the national chains if they would give me a discount as they would only spend 5 minutes on my haircut vs 10 to 15 minutes with other full haired male clients. But they said they couldn’t do that. What did I expect from a national chain? Anyway, if you are like me and don’t have a lot on top, this is the place to go.

I’m so embarrassed I even went here in the first place. I should of known that u get what u pay for. I went here a few times for a quick trim and an all over color nothing tricky… the first few times I went to one of 2 women and they were great I even became somewhat friends w them… that is until the day I went for the regular And this lady passed me off to another lady, who looked angry to even be there, for a trim. I specified just a trim only take off a little bit she cut 5 inches off the right side of my head and at least 2 inches off the bottom the rest of the way around w super short layers the shortest being 2 inches long!!! Lookin at the right side of my face it was basically a mullet… I had to take a week off work and hide in my house until I could get the nerve to go in public and have a real stylist try to fix it. The woman who did my hair had me turned away from the the mirror the entire time and although it seemed like she was cutting for a long time I thought… she’s the one who went to school for this not me so I trust she knows what she’s doing. When she turned me around it took everything not to just cry and run. The worst part was even the ladies I thought were somewhat friends lied n said it looked fine. After getting home and taking a closer look I called back explained who I was and what happened and all they offered was a free 5 dollar haircut!!! I don’t need any more cut off I need it put back on!!! These ppl are horrible… and they way they just brushed me off and didn’t even offer to help really hurt. I wish I could post a picture to show exactly what she did. It’s impossible to explain or even imagine what hack jobs these people are capable of…
