Great to have a second location right in the neighborhood. Love that this restaurant is owned-operated by a local gal. Service is always very friendly and you can expect this joint to be packed on weekend mornings.

This place is disgusting. The gravy for their biscuits and gravy is made with sour cream so as you can imagine they’re sour as fuck. Garlic is the only seasoning they know how to use. The service is terrible the waitresses ignore you when you try to get their attention. The servings are big so you get your money’s worth if you like to eat sour slop. It’s gross here.

This place is absolutely amazing, the food is incredible, we had the special ribs and spicy macaroni and cheese… this was to die for! The service was incredible they just kept the biscuits and buns and goodness flowing! In the last three times I’ve eaten there I’ve had a portion of six different dishes and everyone of them blew my expectations out of the water! I see some post that I think must be associated with the summer location because there’s no way that this location is not is not a five star!

I am not sure why this only has 3 stars. This place is incredible. I live in Texas and have visited this place 2 times. The service and food have been amazing both times. This should be on anyone’s bucket list. We have ordered something different every time and have been blown away with everything we ordered not to mention the amount of left overs we had due to the servings being so large.

This is an average place for breakfast. I’ve been here 4 different times and leave with the same opinion each time. The servers are very friendly and really know the menu. The portions are generous, food is just okay, and each time my flatware could have been cleaner. Each time I think that it will improve and I will continue to hope for this. Susan A.

I’m giving this place a 2 star review not because the food was bad or service was bad but because I was disgusted before I got in the door! The amount of cigarette butts outside was gross!!! Owners and managers, people do not want to see this! Fix it or I’ll never be back and everyone I know will hear why! Why not have a smokers outpost away from the entrance… this is disgusting! Not to mention the reception area looked like something on Bar Rescue! Cords and dirt all over the floor visible from the customers side… As far as breakfast goes, it was good. However, when I order eggs over Medium that doesn’t mean I want my eggs still running down the alley in their mothers! This is my 3rd visit to this place… it is highly unlikely I’ll be back! Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like!

I did not like this place at all. It was dirty, took a long time and was not worth my time at all. I had heard good things about it but was very disappointed!

Best darn chicken fried steak! Portions are huge. Plan to share. Perfect for a Sunday brunch. Don’t fill up on the delicious corn bread.

If I could give this place zero stars I would that’s how bad the service is here. But what do you expect when the place is run by a bunch of teenagers without a manager in sight. My family and I had just visited this place earlier this morning, even though we have read bad reviews before, because we heard the food was decent. Boy was that a mistake. We were sat at our promptly so that was good, the only good thing about this experience. After sitting at our table for over 15 mins with just our menus, I decided to give them a couple more mins… and in that timeframe 3 more tables were seated near us and they were immediately greeted with water. That was it for us. We left right away but not before I gave them a piece of my mind, and all I got was a simple, «oh…sorry about that.»

This week our kitchen flooded and Thanksgiving appeared to be ruined. We called around to find last minute restarurants where we could go, and despite calling a few places that said they were open, we showed up and the restaurants were dark and tge doors locked. In a last ditch effort we called the Buttered Biscuit Too amd asked if they were open. We were told yes, so we drove 40 minutes from Auburn. When we got here, we learned that it was just the bar that was open. But an employee named Tara saw that we had kids and heard what happened and opened up the restaurant for us. Then she threw together a quick menu for us, and managed to cook up huge servings aof delicious food, complete with salad, turkey, mashed potatues, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. The whole time Tara waa gracious, kind, compassionate, and went above and beyond the call of duty. She definitely saved our holiday.

This location is a MILLION times better than the icky Sumner location. I took my Mom out for a late breakfast a few weeks ago as we were craving a warm breakfast now that it’s getting cold.(We’re from S CA, so this IS cold for us!) My Mom ordered a mushroom, cheddar cheese and ham scramble w wheat toast and hash browns and hot tea… it was VERY good. I ordered the GF chocolate chip pancakes, hash browns and coffee which were good the second time around as they served the pancakes burnt!(Even then my second plate had one cooked correctly and one burnt again!) The waitress was super friendly, but also told us she made the cook re-do the hash browns because«they weren’t cooked!!». I think the cook that day was off his game. I’m giving it 4 stars because we’d go back(I LOVE that they have pancakes, waffles and French toast on the GF menu! It’s such a rarity!) and its SOOOOOOOO much better(read: not dirty and gross!!) than the Sumner location.

So, I guess I am a glutton for punishment. I thought MAYBE this would be better than the original restaurant in Sumner. The main reason the first restaurant went from great to gross is due to lack of good management. Unfortunately, the woman who managed the Sumner restaurant is now running the Bonney Lake restaurant. The service sucks most of the time, seems as though no one cares about managing the quality of the food leaving the kitchen, the place is dirty… same restaurant, different town. The waitstaff has nobody to teach them how to be fast, efficient, and please their customers. Management should be setting an example, rather than sitting on her rear end rolling utensils in napkins. That should be done by the waitstaff after closing & prior to opening. NOT by the person who should be paying attention to QC of the food, teaching the cooks how to get meals out before they’re cold, instructing her bussers how to CLEAN tables so patrons aren’t putting their arms in the last customer’s maple syrup or sitting on their crumbs. Bad experiences abound at TBB&TBB2!

I had heard really good things about this place so we finally got s chance to go. I am very disappointed. First our table wobbled so bad my coffee kept spilling. The waitress offers to bring extra napkins. She should of moved us. We never did get any extra napkins. My son orders the lusciously lean scramble. It would have been good but it was covered in so much hollandaise you couldn’t recognize the vegetables. My husband ordered a simple breakfast with eggs sausage and toast. The sausage looked like brown and serve except brown and serve has more flavor. They were so bland. And the toast looked like it hadn’t been toasted. It’s great that they have homemade strawberry jam but that’s all they have and he hates strawberries. Over all it was all very bland no customer service no atmosphere. And the mile high biscuits were average. The only thing that was amazing was the corn bread my son got.

Since opening, the service has gone down hill. Quite disappointed. The food taste bland and it took us 25 minutes AFTER we got our food to get the drinks we did order. It was not busy at all! Maybe 15 – 16 people including the two of us, so it shouldn’t take that long to get WATERED down orange juice and a FLAT soda!!! During our meal we never got asked how our food was(spaghetti was given to us cold and the pot roast was mildly warm). I ended up having to get up to get our to-go boxes for corn bread. And processed to wait 30 mins later BEFORE we got asked if we wanted our check; than another 15 to get it and pay… The only thing good about that place is usually the corn bread… except that days corn bread we got overly dried burnt tasting ones we didn’t know until later that… To owners of this place, I hope you fix this… cause we felt like we lost money and went home still hungry. That’s just sad!

Service is wildly hit or miss. Sometimes is good, other times it’s absolutely horrendous. However, it’s never great. As far as the good goes, they sacrifice quality for massive portions. I can’t for the life of me guess how they have several locations. I think maybe a lot of Bonney Lake folks won’t travel far enough to the more legit restaurants in the area.

To be fair, I think this place is more of a 3.5 than a plain olé’ 3, but… I had some pretty high hopes for BBT because my stepdad puts it up on this breakfast pedestal that no other breakfast place can achieve. The food itself was pretty good, but I had my own issues with BBT. If you’re bringing a child, and would like a child’s menu, be prepared to wait. They only have 5. Why? Who knows. We waited and waited and waited, and asked several times, to be told, «Oh, we’ll go find one for you!» just to have the same waiter or waitress pass us without saying anything. So, that was cool. My sister just kind of came up with an idea of what she wanted based off of the adult menu. I feel like they should probably fix that because I guarantee that they’ll regularly have more than 5 children in there at once. «Oh yeah, I’ll definitely get you that coke but you’ll have to wait until the table next to you is done — we only have 5 glasses!» Pretty much my comparison to only having 5 kids menus. Can you tell I was annoyed??? Before our meals arrived, my meal and my mother’s meal came with cornbread. The pieces that they give you are ridiculous — definitely bigger than my hand. It comes out hot, with a cinnamon roll-ish frosting on top… Literally sex. In your mouth. It’s big enough to share with another person, and even that half with have you ready to tap out, so be careful if you don’t have a big appetite! I ended up getting the Chicken Little, which is a 6 oz. chicken fried steak, potatoes, eggs, and corn beef hash. The portions are outstanding — I literally didn’t even eat a quarter of it(breakfast for tomorrow… Yay!). The chicken fried steak was really, really good. Very crispy even under the gravy. The gravy was good, and had bits of hamburger or sausage throughout it. A little meat-heavy for me, but good for what it was. Their potatoes are super good though. They’re like fried little discs! They’re potentially laced with crack as well. I tried one of their mochas as well, and it was okay, but nothing to rave about. Our main waitress(we had like 7 pass through, seriously) was really nice and accommodating outside of the menu issue. I definitely would like to come back to try some of their crepes — or anything else on the menu, really!

We never liked the Sumner location but stopped into the Bonney Lake one and were pleasantly surprised! We’ve been there twice now and I have to say the food is fresh(fresh not frozen spinach in my omelet) and their corn bread is killer! My daughter had the«moose droppings» and while it was more dessert than breakfast she loved it! Decent wait for a Sunday, friendly staff, priced right and there is even a self serve coffee station for you to help yourself while you wait to be seated. If our waistlines could afford it we would make this a weekly trip!

When we first walked in I noticed that it was quite loud. The acoustics of the place realy amplify the different table conversations. After sitting down and picking up the menu I was shocked to see how poorly done they were. They were literally printed out from a home printer and stapled together at the corners. Mine even had food stains on it. After looking over at my wife’s menu I noticed that my menu was missing pages! Realy?! I was laughing and making jokes about it all. I’m thinking at this point that I may not even give a tip. This was realy bad at first glance. When we got our food I was pleasantly surprised. There was a LOT of it! I had ordered the Spaghetti and Meat Balls, and I couldn’t finish it, had to get a to-go box. And I never do that! The spaghetti was good, except I thought the noodles were a little over cooked, but that was just a minor issue for me. The service was good, our waiter was prompt and eager to assist us. Even had a different waitress offer to refill our drinks. So I gave them kodos for that. So all in all I gave 3 stars, and that was because of the service, the amount of food for the price, and the flavor of the food. I discounted them 2 stars because of the really bad menus and noisy atmosphere. I think with just a little more attention to detail this would be a great restaurant. With the right décor, maybe some plants, even artificial ones, the noise can be greatly reduced. And just putting the menus into clear folders would make a HUGE difference, and make them colorful!

So happy that the second location opened, much more space & more room for seating. Food was delicious, as usual. Service was great, our waters were never more than half empty(they literally came every 2 minutes to refill). Food took a little longer to come out than expected. But they gave us yummy cornbread to snack on before our meal came out.
