We drove down from Ravensdale specifically to have ice cream and our son ordered chicken strips. After watching quite a few customers come and go, asking 3 different waitresses for an eta, at the 45 minute mark, we drove off. I want 45 minutes of my life back. For a place we used to visit weekly back a decade ago when we lived in Enumclaw, fond memories of Wallys will be just that. I will never patron this establishment again.

Waited 30+ minutes. Are you kidding me? For burgers? They could have at least told us up front that it would be an unusually long wait.

My family and I have stopped by twice in the past month to try the wallys under new management. The first time we went we ordered and sat for our food for 30 mins as we watched the girls bring out food to all the cars around us, not to mention they were clearly their friends. We ended up having to push the button again just to be told that the food was just getting packaged up and when they brought it out it was cold and the girl had a bad attitude. Then today we thought we would give them a second chance, I ordered a milkshake and fries and not only were the fries cold but once again a waitress brought out the food with a bad attitude. I expect that when I am paying for a service that not only do I have warm food but good service. The food and attitude was not worth how much you have to pay here. I will not be going back.

Every time I try and give this place a shot I get screwed over. First time was fine which is why I went back the second time. Ordered two shakes, the young lady behind the counter took about 30 minutes and I wound up with the order for the person behind me in line(3 shakes not at all of the same flavor that I ordered). The last time I went in the food was terrible. The place is ran by teenagers, which most the time I wouldn’t mind if they were actually working, but every time I go there they are more concerned with each other than the customers.

Holy crap is this expensive! Rodeo Burger and onion rings, $ 11.85 with tax and they have a tip line on your receipt! The food i S mediocre at best and you will definitely feel taken after you eat it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, it you don’t have kids with you go to the Firehouse Bar, best burger in town.

Food has gone down hill. Over priced burgers that are low quality gut bombs. The ice cream treats are the best thing this place has going for them. Tons of flavors and generous portions.

Decided to stop by Wally’s today because I’ve been wanting a malt I will start with positive, the malt is good and I will probably come back when I’m in the area and craving one. The girl at the counter was very friendly, she helped everyone quickly and seemed to know what she was doing. One thing I was a little disappointed with was the 2 orders before me were offered the Wally sauce while I was not offered any. Would have been nice to try it may have made my meal taste a little better. Now the actual food, I stopped in for lunch at 11 and the fries were discussing. They tasted like they were cooked with old grease I can make better homemade and even frozen at home. I would never order these again. The burger was OK nothing special and again I could probably season and make a better cheap burger at home. I’m only giving this taste stars because of good service and I like the malt.

I only had the fries, but they were the best fries I ever had !!! Kinda price since it seems you have to order items à la carte but I will be trying a milkshake next marshmallow or root beer fun flavors !!!

We have been told about this little place several times… not much to look at– it’s old Americana– eat in your car like the old drive ins. Food Fab, service great and we will be coming back. We had a sandwich missed on our order and they promptly got our sandwich to us in under a few minutes. All around good stuff. Great value. Portions are huge, fries are monsters. Yum. We will see you again!

I was actually surprised at the amount of unhappy people. My family and I love this place! The food is always delicious! At its busiest time it does take quite a bit, but it’s worth the wait. I love their fries and onion rings! My daughter got a milkshake and that was great too! We have had friendly service and plan on returning soon!

After reading reviews on here we almost didn’t go. I’m so glad we gave walked a chance. We’ve ate at their seafood restaurant a few times and liked it. For a burger joint we were impressed. Food was really good I got the Wally burger hubby got the fish sandwich along with fried mushrooms and amazing ranch! I don’t know why everyone complained about the price you get what you pay for. We will be here again when we’re in Buckley. The only complaint is our pop tasted a little water down like they got it ready before making the food.

They advertise all you can eat fish and chips, but the service was so slow that all I got was my first order. Waited for close to 30 min. and still didn’t any more fish! Went to check on the order and they didn’t even start my order. Food is good service is terrible.

$ 20 for two burgers. Seems like a rip off. The onion rings are the worst I’ve had, they are breaded not battered. Like they were from a bag from the grocery store.

Went out here with a group of friends, and was unfortunately extremely disappointed. I’ve got nothing against having a young staff, but man… the staff was young, rude, and the food took a solid 30 minutes to get served. All my wife ordered was a burger and fries. What really got me was the outrageous prices! For anything close to a filling meal your going to spend at least 12 – 16 dollars for a burger and fries. I can go to El Gaucho happy hour and pay that much for serious quality food. Shake selection is limited, and once again overpriced. Restaurant was messy and dirty. I sat down at a booth and got dried ketchup all over the back of my shirt. Just nasty. Didn’t have a reason to go to Buckley in the first place, and now that reason is only reinforced.

Wayyyyyyyy overpriced!!! $ 25 for 2 piece fish n Chip, 1 cheeseburger w/out fries and 1 regular milkshake!!! Seemed like we were waiting forever for our food to come. People drove up after Us, and left with food before we did??? Red Robins Fish and Chips are infinitely better and you get never ending fries. I paid $ 5.15 for a regular cheeseburger with no fries, I’m dumb. The burger and shake were good but not $ 10 good. Dicks is better. I will never return here and that sucks because I love supporting small businesses. Please get your prices and servings in line. This is diner/bar food for goodness sakes.

We love Wally’s burgers! We always stop here after hiking the Cal Magnussen Trail. Yummy burgers made to order and fries are off the chain. Make sure you get a root beer float or marshmallow milkshake for dessert! Employees are friendly and helpful, always a good time!

The classic American drive-in: juicy burgers, ice-cold shakes, greasy fries & onion rings, etc. Yum! Don’t get ‘drive-in’ confused with ‘drive-thru’; if you’re expecting a quick and inexpensive dining experience comperable to one of the big fast food chains you will most likely be disappointed. That said, the wait times and prices here aren’t all that bad, and the quailty of the food is far superior to any of the cheap crap you’d get from a fast food chain. There are a lot of options to choose from on Wally’s menu, but if you’re stuck trying to decide what to order you can’t go wrong with a bacon cheeseburger and a chocolate shake. Uh-oh… I’m drooling a little bit just thinking abou it! ;-)
