Ihop

Every time I get food here it is great. :) country omelette without onions and buttermilk pancakes is the standard. Toasted marshmallow hot chocolate is really good as well. Don’t come here on the weekends without expecting a wait, but grab a menu and know what you want so once you’re seated you save some time!

Every lhops I have ever eaten at in any other location was very good and you had to wait to be seated but that is not the case at the IHOPs in Boone North Carolina it is awful definitely lacking in management

Restaurant — and restrooms — were clean and tidy.
We were seated right away, and a cheerful, competent waitress took our orders, which arrived hot and in not much more time than it probably took to cook. She checked back from time to time to see if we needed anything, and brought sour cream quickly when I asked for it (I had the fajita omelete, which was cooked perfectly, and my friend had the veggie, also perfect).
Being a college town, where students staff many of the restaurants, I’m sure that service is better when school is in session and there are enough servers to go around.

I have ate here twice and both times the service has been awful both times my order was wrong and the servers were never around to refill your drinks (both times there was 2 other tables besides mine they weren’t busy!) the food is good but when service is lacking it makes the whole place look bad won’t be back

Worst IHOP experience ever. Service was slow and inattentive. They should find other employment if they hate their job so much. Restaurant was empty and we still waited 35 minutes for the food. Multiple times we had to ask for more coffee. Why is this place still open? Do yourself a favor and drive the extra five minutes to another place. You will regret every minute of you ihop experience.

Empty restaurant… SLOW service, cold food. Terrible experience and clueless staff. I would only return if no other options were available… and then I would come with tempered expectations. Truly a horrible experience.

There seems to be a complete lack of management oversight and training. Half empty restaurant, tables are dirty and here’s a line of four to five parties waiting to be seated. Owner of the restaurant didn’t even annotate parties waiting for seating by arrival sequence. Given this area has a high turnover of tourists, I’m sure this place will continue to have patrons who are suckered in. However, if you’re looking for a good breakfast place, sunset grill, the diner or even Waffle House would be a better choice. Oh and I’ve eaten here twice and each time I have had explosive bowel movements five to ten minutes after consumption.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in an IHOP. The restaurant was not busy at all and yet we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive.
When it finally came, the waffles were so cold that the butter would not melt. The eggs were barely warm and the hash browns were cold to the touch.
Our waiter apologized and offered to get the manager. We observed the server speaking with her about our meal, yet after a long wait, she would not come to our table. She had him tell us that our meal would be no charge. Again, cold waffles, eggs, hash browns etc. and she went to the check out counter.
As we were leaving to go to another restaurant, she asked my wife «what was the problem?». My wife repeated what we had told the server and he had told the manager. The manager, a cursory «I’m sorry».
I will not be going back to this IHOP any time soon and recommend avoiding this restaurant.

The servers are always excellent but the food takes entirely too long to come out and half the time it comes out wrong or just poorly cooked in general (raw non-​fully cooked veggies/​omelets). Our last visit was the worst yet, my wife ordered the sampler and half of it was raw in the center and there were several hairs discovered throughout. Service is excellent, change the kitchen staff and you could do some business!

The servers were nice and the food was good, but it took 42 years for the food to come out. But we got it for free so instead of 3 stars, I’m going to say 5 stars
Also, get the cinnastax because they’re amazing
