We love this diner and the management/owner change improves an already wonderful experience. Jenny orchestrated the entire restaurant and filled the room with warmth and laughter. If you want to brighten your day you have to meet Jenny. However, the Waves also has terrific food. We had the stuffed french toast, eggs benedict, and berry smoothie. Whoa! That was a treat, my favorite was the eggs benedict with had perfect poached eggs, sliced ham(so the sauce would kiss the bread), and a fantastic toasted english muffin. Great stop! The only reason for the 4 and not a 5 is the small small small room. Guaranteed you will come out a size bigger than when you came in– and that is hard to maneuver past the crowds.

We chose this breakfast place based on other reviews and we were not disappointed. We were seated immediately and the staff were friendly. My kids had the strawberry pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes which were both a hit. I got an egg white omelette and it was delicious. My husband got the homemade corn beef hash and loved it! I would highly recommend this place if you are in the Boothbay area!

This is the old Ebb Tide that was bought by new owners. Slightly different menu now. New owners are really nice. We ordered the veggie breakfast entrée and loved it. Has an Asian wok taste. Really good.

Absolutely delicious food! We ordered eggs Benedict with ham and spinach, veggie mishmash, and pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream. The whipped cream tasted like it might have been Cool Whip. Other than that everything was well prepared, attractive, and so very tasty! The wait staff was friendly and efficient. And the ambiance was New England without being in-your-face harbor themed.

Absolutely great food, and fast! This place was very busy at 11am today, and we were in and out of there in about 25 – 30 minutes. The waitress we had was so sweet, and even was extremely apologetic because she forgot to add our sides of bacon to the order. The portions were plentiful, and so delicious! We will definitely be back, and will recommend to everyone.

Writing this review at Waves. Got seated immediately into a cute knotty pine booth. Kelsey our waitress came right over, took our drink orders and our menus I ordered the Honey Dipped Chicken boyfriend ordered the Island Burger 12. My chicken sand was awesome. Crispy and pipping hot. French fries crispy, only complaint was my bacon wasn’t cooked bf’s burger cooked perfect and hot. Very good service, very personable staff and reasonably priced.

This restaurant is where the old Ebb Tide used to be. They just opened in late May 2015. We decided to give it a try for breakfast and we were impressed. A good selection. My wife loved the breakfast banana split which was fruit yogurt and banana. I enjoyed the stuffed French toast. There was a good selection for kids including chocolate chip pancakes(but no Belgian Waffles) I tried the Cinnamon roll. It was good and it was frosted, but if I had to choose Andrews was better.(It liked the food at Waves more overall) Overall good for breakfast.
