Accent Verticals

I think it is always good to let others know when you have found a company with superior service. Accent Verticals has done an amazing job for my wife and I. They drove from their location in Boring all the way to Newberg Oregon to spend a couple hours with us designing our new blinds and shades. And then their price was 30% — 40% less! My inlaws recommended Accent Verticals as they have amazing blinds and shades also. My inlaws have had one repair in almost six years. Reviews are always subjective, so be careful what else you read. Accent Verticals is awesome! I reccoment them.

I contacted these guys to have them remove me from their junk mail list. I was told that they do it though another company, and they can’t take me off of that company’s list. When I told them that they are the ones sending me mail, and it’s their responsibility to manage what mail gets send to who, the lady acted like I was being super rude and ended the phone call.
Apparently sending me junk mail isn’t rude, but me asking to not receive it is rude. I would avoid thaw guys just for the sleezy business practices.

Oh my, why didn’t I check these reviews first. Will I never learn? In spite of the technician knowing my repair was under warranty and they weren’t an authorized repair service he went ahead with the repair and charged me. He knew the age of the blind and that the repair was a covered service yet didn’t tell me. I learned the next day when calling Hunter Douglas for some replacement rail plugs. When calling Accent Verticals they were rude and said I would be breaking the law if I cancelled their check.

These folks present a good initial impression, but it all goes down hill from there. After they took our check, they then said it would be 30 – 45 days to deliver. Yeah, I should have asked before I gave them the check, so my bad. Well, 30 days rolled around, we called and asked for a status, it would be two more weeks. I asked to cancel the order, «You can’t do that, we’ve already made your blinds.» — WTF, then deliver them. «We can get them to you in 5 days» If they are done, why wait 5 days, deliver them now. «We can’t, they’re not done.» I wish they would get the story straight. Come to find out, they have been done for over 10 days, they couldn’t install them any sooner. IS THAT ALL — I can install them myself. Finally, they will be delivered tonight. Oh Bother!
Avoid these folks like the plague unless you have nothing better to do with your cash. Finally, these folks are expensive. Nearly double what Lowes would have charged for the same blinds, but we had heard the ads on KEX about being local and lifetime warranty — still not worth it. Live and learn.
Follow up: When the blinds were delivered, we found out they were manufactured in AZ. So much for local.
