Every since he got rid of the hot waitresses I haven’t been back.

Hopped by here on my 41st birthday for a beer and a small bite between adventures(we had just left the wonderful and fantastic Touchstone Wildlife and Art Museum in Haughton! See my review of the museum here on Unilocal!). This is a decent little sportsbar, with a fusion of two great names(former Saints qb greats Archie Manning and Bobby Hebert). The bar, located at the Villagio outdoor Shopping Center, has a nice, albeit man-made waterfront view. I drank the biggest Blue Moon draft beer with the biggest slice of orange I had ever had to go along with the Pick 3 appetizer that my wife and I shared. Foe our three options, we chose the Ball Park fries(which are more like delicious homemade potato chips loaded down with queso, bacon, sour cream, and jalapenos), boudin balls and fried pickles(which they fry whole spears) It was all good and soaked up the beer nicely. I like this bar and if I lived closer, I’d be over there way more often. I think it would be a great place to watch the upcoming Summer Olympics. Tuesday is steak night here and Wednesday is oyster night. Check ol’ Archie’s out!

Good atmosphere — Rich’s Special Po-Boy is kick@$$ — gotta try it — good beer selection — Tuesday nights are 50 cent Wings and Wednesdays are 25 cent raw Oysters — My son tried his 1st Oyster there and also got to karaōke sing — he absolutely killed Elton John’s Tiny Dancer on a Friday evening
