I stopped in to try their«famous» wings… those were the most bland and greasy wings i’ve had in as long as i can remember. There was basically no sauce on them at all! The service was bad. No one seemed to be too interested in their job. Overall the phrase«don’t believe the hype» held true on my visit. The girls weren’t even all that cute, either.(I don’t like the tons of make-up look they all seemed to have… I’m sure they’d be fine without looking like plastic dolls.) Lots of TV’s around the place, though. So to sum it all up, bland/expensive wings, poor service, and a bad first impression of hooter’s for a first time customer. The best part about it is it’s right in front of the river on the boardwalk so you can take your mind off the horrible experience pretty quickly.

Service was slow. Bartender was friendly, margaritas weren’t bad, didn’t stay for any food.

First time to a Hooters restaurant. Didn’t enjoy it at all. All the waitresses are young girls who decide to hang out at the tables of high school boys instead of attending to customers — unprofessional. The food was bad as well. I got a bbq burger; forgot the onion rings and bbq sauce. They did do the burger well done like asked. The curly fries were also cold when they came out. I got a vodka lemonade– very light on the alcohol. The fiancée had onion rings and a Philly cheese steak that came out hot. The bill came to $ 40. Not worth it at all.

The service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive. The chocolate turtle cheesecake was excellent. The Daytona beach traditional wings were excellent. The habanero and Daytona beach shrimp was excellent. The boneless mild wings with curly fries was excellent. There was nothing to deduct any stars for.

If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen em all, but each has its special«feel.» Been dropping in here since it opened — holds up with others I’ve seen across the country. During the day it’s a busy mall lunchspot. At night it turns into a neighborhood place with name-recognized regulars leading to interesting situations. Food is average — it is what it is — but you know that’s not really why you come here. Good patio with view of river and casino parking garages.

Out of all the hooters i have frequented. This is the absolute worst. The wait staff: rude. The buffalo wings/boneless/bone in/and shrimp. Had almost no sauce. From what we were told is that this hooters is having financial issues and they are cutting out on tge sauce and you get a few ounces per 6 wings. Wow. Unacceptable. I wont come back to this location. If thus continues this location will be shut down in a few months. Others have commented on the lack of sauce.

Went to have lunch. I had just purchased a strawberry lemonade at auntie Anne’s. The hostess told me I had to hide my beverage or get rid of it. I said I just bought it. She responded they had just had a large meeting about it. I asked if she was willing to sacrifice a 30 lunch for one beverage, she shrugged and offered a manager. Justin Harris the assistant manager approached and I repeated the same thing, he stated its company policy and that was it! I said I just want to make sure I understand, your sacrificing a purchase, for one single beverage. I hate when someone regurgitates policy, instead of offering a solution, which would have been a cup! Get over yourself, went to Buffalo Wild Wings and guess what they served me, and never mentioned my beverage! And I purchased another from them!!!

Probably the most disgusting kitchen floor I have ever seen in a restaurant. In the middle of the floor walking to my seat had a very slippery grease spot. I asked our waitress if she eats here and she blatantly lied to my face and did not look me in the eye. After that I started looking at the kitchen equipment which probably hasn’t been cleaned in years. Do not come here. The kitchen staff and manager consistently touching there pants and iPhones with gloves on. Talking to each other and laughing loudly very unprofessional. When asked if the wings had an expiration date the manager told my waitress to tell me that there is no expiration date they come in fresh every three days. What kind of stuff is that???

Very poor service, check-in/seating procedure needs to be changed, food took forever making for a long line of waiting customers

This is by far the most unfriendliest Hooters I have ever been to over the years. The food is decent and consistent across the chain, but someone needs to come in and train the staff here. I just stopped coming here after a few visits, because as noted by others, the staff here has an attitude. For example, on a late slow night the three of us were served our food and I proceeded to grab a paper towel roll off another table(unoccupited — empty), as we did not have one. A server ran over and said I had to put it back. At first I thought she was joking. Nope, she proceeded to demand that I put it back. Getting our server’s attention was hard as hell, as she completely disappeared for long periods. This of course resulted in us unable to get in add’l beer orders. In most locations, the girls tend to «work» the patrons to earn higher tips and larger bar tabs. Given that some big spenders from TX roll in and like me, you have business travelers that can drop a few extra $$s. Nope, here it seemed that you coming in was a great inconvenience. No wonder on most week nights, the place is pretty empty.

I had the chicken sandwich. It was fairly good. I asked for a little ranch dressing instead of wing sauce for my sandwich. When we got the bill I was charged .75 for the ranch dressing. The waitress and her trainee were very attentive. They TRIED unsuccessfully to help log on to their free wifi.

I have been to over 30 Hooters around the country and I have to say this one was a real let down. Some of the other reviewers reported good service, unfortunately I didn’t get it on my visit. My server was polite but not friendly. She didn’t introduce herself or pen her name on my napkin. She didn’t know the beer menu. I asked if they had any ambers and she said they had Dos XX. So I ordered one and she brought me a Dos XX lager. When I brought it to her attention that it wasn’t an amber, she said that is all they had. My server seemed more interested in chit-chatting with her co-workers than engaging the customers. I am not sure if she was just inexperienced, but the key to earning a good tip comes from giving the customer a feel-good dining experience. I usually order wings when I dine at Hooters. The wings here were typical of other Hooters. However, the plate of wings is usually accompanied by a separate plate to discard the bones. Also, they are served with a wetnap to clean the face and fingers after dining. Nothing like that here. Moreover, the table I was seated at had about 3 sheets of paper towels left on the roll. I had to steal a roll from an unoccupied table. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this Hooters. I certainly wouldn’t eat here again.

Good wings and cold beer. The sauce was a bit salty, but the chicken was very good.

Don’t know what it is about this place, there’s just something about it… Really though, the wings are tasty. I like to get mine with a little heat on them. You’ve been to one Hooter’s, you’ve been to them all pretty much. This one holds up the name honorably. It has a nice ambiance.

i visit a lot of hooters and this one was pretty solid. our waitress was super friendly and willing to shoot-the-bull even though it was the end of her shift. the«service» was good, and we even got a shift-change during our lunch, allowing me to assess more of the«service». if i’m ever back in the great state of louisiana, i’ll be back here.

It’s a Hooters just like most others. Same outfits and same below average food. But who goes to Hooters for the food? The view are nice(I’m talking about the view onto the Boardwalk).
