Visited this store 8÷22÷15. Overall the visit was good. Clean store, well stocked. My big problem is that they had an item marked as buy one get one. The item did not ring up as such and the sales clerk asked me to show her where I got the item. Showed her and she said oh they forgot to remove this sign. She then removed the sign. Still got a good price but not happy about the bait and switch.

If I could give 0 stars for this visit, I would not hesitate! All I purchased was a twin pack of pillows. How hard can that be to check out? I get to the register and didn’t get acknowledged. Then she couldn’t find the bar code (UPC code) to scan. She set the pillows down and said I could have checked out in the Home Dept. I told her the lady back there was going to, but I asked if I could pay for them up front, and the Home Dept. lady said yes, in case I had more shopping to do and I thanked her. I shopped more, with my 2 older kids and we went to check out. All I wanted was my pillows. Retta or Rita was this cashier’s name that was trying to ring me up. Anyway, she said «I can’t find the bar code anywhere, here maybe you can look and find one». She put the pillows down. I looked at her and said «Can’t you call back to the Home Dept. to see if she’s still back there?» She just looked at me as if she didn’t know what to do. I started looking because she didn’t seem like she cared. I finally found it on the bag. She said «Wow you did find it»! Then I gave her a coupon and she said you can’t use it on these. I said «Yes I can, because the coupon states it can be used towards Home Dept. items. She said no. I said yes. She read it, and said oh yea you can. She said „Well, we have so many different coupons out there you know“! Now I’m thinking– how would I know? I dont work here and I don’t print and give out the coupons! Hello– Duh!!! She have me my total and didn’t say thank you or here is a website for you to go to and do a survey regarding your visit. Nothing. I asked if they had a bag large enough for my pillows and she said No. I said never mind, it’s okay. She said,
Well I may have one but it may not have a handle on it. She got a bag and had trouble putting them in and so I helped her. Guess what– it had two handles and I was able to hold the two handles on the bag with one hand. I turned to the lady behind me waiting to check out and I said“She has an attitude, a bad attitude»! The customer shook her head and said yes she does! After checking out I walked all of the way to the back of the store to find a manager and couldn’t. I did run into the Home Dept. employee and told her of my experience. She apologized and I told her this was the only time I’ve had a bad experience here. I told her that I had to bite my tongue to keep from saying something to that cashier that checked me out. But guess what? On my way back to the front to leave, I did stop at the register with the cashier that checked me out and she had customers in line waiting to check out, and I told her I had to bite my tongue earlier but not now. I told her she was very rude and had a bad attitude towards me and that she was very unprofessional and I will do the survey and I am calling tomorrow to speak to a manager. She said I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I saw the lady who was behind me when it happened and I asked how she did with her, and she said she was better, but she agreed that she was very rude towards me and had a bad attitude. I’m still mad! Can you tell? This is the longest review I’ve ever done! Okay, that’s off my chest now! But I’m still mad!

Though we live in Shreveport and super close to the JCP location on Youree Drive, we now have to go to this location in Pierre Bossier Mall (next to the hair salon), if we want pictures made professionally of the bebe for the holidays (because the Shreveport JCP closed its’ photo studio!), which we did go to the PB Mall location for Christmas and the pics turned out great and we even made one of the pics our Christmas card that we sent out to everybody this year! And it was busy in this studio at this time of year, as you can imagine!
