My friend and I got the chicken ranch pizza and it was very tasty and its also really good the next day. The mozzarella sticks were subpar, basically just tasted like frozen food mozz sticks. They also don’t serve tap water which is weird and illegal so they should probably change that but other than that I do suggest the pizza. They made it fresh and it only took about 10min but there was also no one there because it was like 11pm so it might take longer during the day.

Not as good as Cappys, but this place provided a fun filled experience of the ghetto college student coming in and making a crazy experience. Honestly, hit this place up when drunk and you need a quick fix on food because you’re in the area, but don’t make it a mandatory stop. I feel bad for the employees because their bitter attitude is from years of college students being ass monkeys… but be real, they picked the location. I won’t be running to go back here, but if I’m drunk in the area, I might consider stopping in. The food quality was cardboard with tomato sauce and stale pepperoni, BUT! when you’re drunk, you can’t taste that, the only regret you’ll have is the next morning when you have nasty coming out of the angry booty and the attic that is your mouth hole… but you’ll really only experience this if you’re a health nut who can’t hold their liquor. Otherwise, the next morning you will just feel like ya need to poop, you will, and then you will move on with your day. Best experience here, Halloween 2006… a group of college students each dressed as different Tetris pieces and formed a Tetris Line… then yelled out«We formed a line! Do we get free pizza!?» The employee laughed, said no, then the students yelled obscene curse words and left… yup…that’s what you can expect from this place… a random funny moment to a bystander, but sadly an every day type of occurrence for the employee.

Boston House has the best buffalo chicken wrap that I have ever found. Parking’s next to impossible but they are open very late.

I’ve had better pizza and subs. I got a large steak bomb and there was barely any cheese in it. They put the slices of cheese at the bottom of the sub and none on top. Every time I go I am left feeling empty.

If there were only emoji signs on this website I would do double thumbs down! I ordered BUFFALO wings from bhop and they came plain. I called them to ask if they gave me the wrong order and they said no. I then explained to them that they had no buffalo sauce on them. The manager simply said that’s what our buffalo wings are, they come pre-cooked/sauced from whatever shitty manufacturer they get them from. He claimed that they only dip their buffalo tenders in sauce not their wings. Instead of trying to convenience me by making me another order and putting buffalo sauce on them themselves(like any other pizza shop would) he said«too bad and we aren’t going to change our wings for one customer.» That’s when I said you just lost a customer. I’ve never met such rude people, that’s not how you should treat your customers that pay 10 bucks for frozen wings«buffalo».

My friends and I were getting tired and hungry after walking around Boston for a few hours when we found this place. We had been touring the university the day after the graduation pizza sounded delicious. For the group we ordered a pepperoni and barbecue pizza that were both tasty. The service was quick and for the price the pizza was good. There was ample seating and the place wasn’t noisy so we could talk and hang out.

I’m sad to say that the customer is always right, DOESNOT apply in this SHOP. The food is okay, but the staff is rude, unless your puerto rican I guess. And don’t bother trying to sit, eat lunch and enjoy their T. V’s, you’ll be watching sports, which I’m sure is okay with the men and maybe some women, and on the other t.v. you’ll have to learn spanish, because that’s what will be on, a Spanish channel. I was told the T.V.‘s are for the employees to watch NOT the CUSTOMERS smh, so they don’t care what the customer would prefer to watch, which is ridiculous. Place has gone downhill, by people who don’t even own it. Do what you like, but I will NOTBESPENDINGMY $ there anymore.

Two words: drunk pizza. That’s the only thing BHOP is good for, because you can’t taste how terrible it is. Ok fine, it’s not terrible. It’s mediocre, I guess, and oily, but not mindblowingly terrible. It’s just not something you should spend your money on.

The food was subpar at best and the employees were surly. Furthermore, they took forever to reheat their clammy pizza. The place next door is called Cappy’s and this should be called Crappy’s. Seriously though, they need to revamp their entire operation. I know college kids will eat anything, but they don’t want their stomachs pumped either.

Came here with my roommate at around midnight after unpacking all our stuff in the super super humid room… we definitely deserved pizza. I got a normal cheese slice while she got pepperoni, and honestly — it’s just pizza. Sometimes you eat pizza thats SUPER good, but this was not one of them. But even mediocre pizza tastes good, so it was still enjoyable. Avoid this place and the surrounding sidewalk on Friday/Saturday nights unless you want step in drunk students’ vomit.

I have been to BHOP a couple of times for a late night slice either before getting on a train back home or after grabbing a couple drinks with friends at one of the local bars and it’s sad to say that this place is quite the let down when it comes to the quality of their pizza. When I have stopped in the selction of slices to choose from has been decent(Pepperoni, cheese, buffalo and BBQ chicken) but the flavor and quality of the slices are seriously lacking. They are very bland(in regards to the cheese, sauce and toppings being used) and I feel like they might let them sit under the heating lights in the front case a little too long. As far a pizza places go(especially for a late night slice or two) maybe I’m slightly spoiled by the quality and choices I have around Providence but I wish this place was better and a spot I could rely on during my visits up around the area. If I’m in a pnch I might give them another try, but otherwise I’ll probably be looking elsewhere.

To the adverse reviews, just have to say that Pizza is a personal taste sort of thing. I have been eating at BHOP for over 20 yrs since my Northeastern days, and continue now whenever I am in the neighborhood which is frequent since i go to Mass and gym right up the street and grocery shop at the very close Whole Foods Market. I am a big fan of BHOP’s steak & cheese Subs as well as pizza slices and whole pizza pies. Their garlic bread with cheese rocks too. BHOP was a favorite during NEU days, and remains so today.

Possibly the best place to witness drunk, idiotic college kids on Saturday nights. Other than that, skip it. Everything about this place sucks.

I patronized BHOP over a stretch of decades, and was one of its first customers in 1981, when it first opened(a bit further down Huntington). Northeastern University Choral Society rehearsals would get out at 9:30, and they had a New Business special where they’d sell a personal size pizza for $ 1, which was a steal at the time. A bunch of us hungry, poor choristers would regularly hit there after rehearsal. Pop forward 25 years, and there I was back at NUCS, which has always allowed alumni to sing. And BHOP was still there, shifted down the street, with bright lights and gleaming tile. So, getting out of work in time to get me to Northeastern 45 minutes before rehearsal, I’d often catch a quick meal here. A bonus — for me, at least — is that the owners are stone soccer fans, and there are two wide screen TVs that have whatever soccer games might be on the tube, or generic sporting matches if not.(This is likely appreciated by the large number of NU students from other countries.) Okay, it is what it is. This is not Pizzeria Regina’s North End citadel, and you needn’t check for a Zagat rating. This is average college campus pizza and subs. Just enjoy that you can do that in a bright, large, clean establishment for a good price.

Hi. I’m a pizza snob. This pizza is ok, at best. Service was fine. It’s seven o’clock on a friday and they don’t have pepperoni slices. My pint of bottled water, slice of cheese and veggie slice came to 6 and change. Which is on paper fair but I’m not impressed. I would eat here again if I had to, but don’t see that happening.

Shabby atmosphere. Pizza looked liked it had been sitting there for a while. I couldn’t even put pepper and cheese on it because they were tangled the shoe strings that tied them down to the counter. The pizza itself was a mushy tasteless hung of poor quality ingredients… Think public elementary school cafeteria in the 90s. The only difference was that its more expensive you had a bored looking teenager serving you instead of the lunch lady… In short this place shouldn’t exist.

I want you all to be warned! I placed an order last night via Foodler. Order included: buffalo wing dings, chicken gyro roll up and mozzarella sticks. Never have I been so horrified by an establishment’s product. 1. There was a feather stuck to one of the buffalo wings. 2. The chicken gyro was full of bones and a chocking hazard 3. The mozarrella sticks had a chemical after taste. Given this order was received late at night and an initial call to the restaurant went unanswered I contacted Foodler first thing in the morning. They reached out to the restaurant who refused to provide any refund for this disgusting experience. Please save yourself from digesting food of questionable origins and quality. Not to mention the lack of customer service reinforces their complete disdain for the customer’s satisfaction.

Oh BHOP we have been seeing each other for a few years now. I can’t remember how many nights I ended with you after being out and drinking too much. This and Cappy’s I were my go to drunk late night food spots when I was at Northeastern. Ahhh memories. Even though I’m not in college anymore, I still find myself ordering from you when I’m too lazy to A.) make dinner or B.) go grocery shopping. I love their buffalo chicken pizza. That’s what I order like 95% of the time. The crust is not too thick and they don’t over cook it either. The appetizers especially the garlic bread with cheese are pretty good. I actually prefer bhop’s pizza over a lot of places in the city. Go figure. If you would like dinner and a show, come here around 1 – 1:30am and just sit back. It’s always hilarious to hear the ridiculous drunk convos, and to see people that are the definition of «hot mess» attack pizza like they’ve never seen food before.

This review is solely for the boneless buffalo chicken finger dinner. I must have become the #1 customer last year because my roommate and I ordered one(or two) of these dinners a couple times a week. Careful with this if you’re trying to avoid a heart attack — you’re eating a big plate of fried food. Oh yea, the dinner comes with a small garden salad as well, as if that’s the first thing you’re going to dive into… I’m not a huge fan of any of the other food at BHOP or the line of drunk kids that accumulates around 1:30AM but the buffalo fingers are a saving grace.
