Wow, guys! Just… wow! I legit have NOTHING negative to say about this place at ALL… and I can summarize my love for this place based on two factors: 1.) The delicious food. 2.) The single, coolest and most awesome bartender I’ve ever met in my entire life. Now… I’ve been to several Unos establishments in the past and I’ve always loved their food. Their deep-dish pizza may not be the healthiest thing you’ll ever eat, but good LORD it’s good. Their appetizers are phenomenal; the buffalo chicken quesadillas and the nachos stand out as exceptional in my humble opinion. But what wows me the most is their bacon cheeseburger. Make no mistake about it, folks. THISPLACEKNOWSHOWTOMAKE A CHEESEBURGER. It’s like bliss on a bun with awesome fries on the side. But here’s where this restaurant earns its five stars: You’ve somehow found the greatest bartender in the world to work for you. His name is John… and near as I can tell, he’s a workaholic. He’s only there a couple of evenings a week, but having spoken with him, I’ve learned he’s a jack-of-all-trades, working a couple of jobs aside from this one, but you’d never know it. He’s got a seemingly exhausting schedule, but he brings his A-Game to the bar. He engages his patrons, seems to know most of them on a first-name basis, gets to know them as individuals, and busts his a** to make sure they’re 100% satisfied. Since customers have the option to eat their meal at the bar, too, I chose to eat there so that I could watch the game(…they’ve got flat-screen TVs at the bar). John’s funny, attentive, highly intelligent, and he’s been at this Unos for years. Make no mistake about it. This restaurant is great because John MAKES it great. He is the kind of guy you’d film if you wanted to make a training video on superb customer service and best of all, it’s AUTHENTIC. He’s not faking ANYTHING. He legitimately CARES that the patrons there are served in a timely fashion and that they are fully satisfied with every part of their time at the bar. If someone’s salary were based solely on their customer service, the man would be making a seven-figure income. He’s got regulars and if I had the time to frequent the establishment more often, I’d be a regular, too.

Tend to come here pre-symphony and, altho it does tend to be crowded at that time, we never have to wait long and the service is very prompt without being overbearing. Have always enjoyed my meals here. Pretty big bar as well.

Should have read the reviews. If management would teach their servers to clear tables they wouldn’t have a wait. 10 dirty tables and. 20 minute wait. If you need a consultant, let me know.

I was not too impressed with the service. I ordered a lemon drop martini, which tasted more like pure lemonade. I did appreciate that the server was willing to take the drink back and let me order something else in replace. The desserts are available in the large and mini portions. The large portions can probably be shared between two people or even three. Uno allows customers to order dishes and drinks from the table on their computer device.

Went there recently for drinks and dessert with 2 friends. I had white sangria and my friend had the lemon drop martini which she sent back since it was too weak. The server happily got her another drink and she was not charged. I honestly should have returned my drink too since it was pretty weak as well. The Granny Smith All American dessert I had was fabulous, and it’s cool they have mini versions of most of their desserts if you are not hungry. They have little computers on each table now which allow you to place orders and pay your bill if your server is not present. I have enjoyed the appetizers and entrees at their locations so I’d be willing to give them another shot.

Steaks prepared the way you like it. Excellent wine & food pairings. Polite warm and welcoming hostess and wait staff. I loved the zucchini chips, the Tomato bacon jam Sirloin Steak. Roasted veggies and skinless bake is very tasty and filling. Impressive clean well-lighted bar and lounge. For the crowded city of Boston this is a spacious full-sized restaurant location. The servers are attentive and gregarious and excellent listening to every word and checking in on our table regularly

I often got take-out foods for dinner from here after my classes. Their pizza and pasta were pretty good. They had good volume. There were comfortable seats and tables to watch the hockey. At that time, I was a fan of Boston Bruins. But the atmosphere was a kind of depressing, I thought.

Walking into UNO grill at Huntington ave on a Monday evening with expectations to eat a good deep dish pizza was perhaps a bad idea. Their pizza, which claims it makes other pizzas feel inadequate since 1943, was as cold and soggy. I’m no pizza aficionado but I sure didn’t expect a puddle of water at the bottom of my pizza. Perhaps the server was having a bad day or maybe she just likes thrusting water glasses on the table with a matter-of-factly«sorry». At this point, It would suffice to say that we had a very dissatisfying experience tonight. Don’t think we would ever be going back to this uno outlet.

I’ve been here a few times now and I haven’t had major problems. The food has always been good. I’d say the only thing might be the staffing is usually new. In the few times I’ve been here, there have been new faces. A little over a week ago, there was a mix up with our deep dish where it was sent out for a pick up order. We had to wait a little longer for the next pizza. We weren’t charged for it. Uno’s varies by location, but overall, I’ve had good experiences at this restaurant. I would continue to return.

Know what you’re getting, and you’ll be happy at UNOs. A great place to take a large group of people for a laid-back meal. My friends used this as an after-club-meeting social spot, and often would just appear as a group of 15 people on a Thursday night. They were always able to seat us, sometimes at the big tables in the back room, and sometimes at two tables close to each other. We’d have to wait 5 – 10 minutes, but we weren’t really fussed. The service is slowish and the food is mediocre, but having an affordable place where you can take a large group of people is actually really great. It’s quiet enough to sit and talk(no overwhelming music) but it’s also loud enough that an energetic group of college students doesn’t collect bother anyone. I’ve always had great experiences with the waiters themselves, and the inconsistent speed is just a function of how busy the place is. Plus, they always handled our giant groups and our requests to split the check 12 ways with lots of grace and patience. I’ve always been there with friends to hang out, chat, and eat some food, so I’ve never been bothered by the wait times. As for the food: The salads aren’t worth the price(I’ve had way better at Chick-Fil-A, haha, and it’s not an extra charge for meat there) but the thin crust pizza always satisfies. My favorite is the desserts, really. They have a series of tiny desserts for around $ 3 which is great if you want something light after a meal. I LOVE their peanut butter cup, and the classic chocolate chip cookie is quite tasty. Not as good as the cookies I make, but I don’t make ones twice as big as your face, so the novelty of the giant cookies is fun and best split amongst friends. The location is great, super convenient to Northeastern’s campus. If you know what you’re getting going in, you either won’t be disappointed, or you’ll know you will and will choose somewhere else. As for me, I have lots of fond memories at UNOs. I just need to stop trying to order the salads.

What makes a good restaurant isn’t always the great food but their waiters! Shay was my waiter when I first visited. He was so attentive. Before I even asked for something such as napkins, he would already bring them to my table. He takes pride in his work which made my visit much more enjoyable. Plus the $ 5 drinks keep me happy too!

It’s one of the worst UNO’s around. They still get business because they’re in a prime location. Most of the workers are college students and could care less about their job. When your server only gives a half effort it’s hard to enjoy a meal. You can connect the dots.

Terrible, overpriced food. Surly, leaden service. Dirt and incompetent front of house staff. A last choice and then only if you aren’t willing to walk to one of the numerous good restaurants a few blocks away. Amazing it stays in business.

I went to Uno’s last night following an event at the Matthew’s Arena around the corner. The experience ranks almost the bottom of my list for terrible meals and service. We hard a large group(13) and so a member of our party called ahead the day before to reserve a table. When we arrive we found they planned to seat our group in three different booths«close» together. As this was a family gathering we asked to be seated together at one table. After 20 more minutes«setting the table» we were finally seated. The delay was a harbinger for what was to come. The service was incredibly slow. It took about 30 mintues for everyone to get their first drink and about two and a half hours for the first plate to come out. There was about a 15 minute delay between the first plate coming out and the last plate. Everything about the meal was lacking. Steaks were cooked incorrectly, one of the lobster rolls was prepared without toasting the bun. My salad was extremely over dressed and the warm grilled chicken billed on the menu was cold. Overall – bad service, bad food. There are many other places in the area around symphony hall – go somewhere else!

We waited for 15 mins and no one even offered water. I told the host and went back and waited. After another 10 mins we left. I told the host we can’t wait and she acted as if she were so surprised!!! Terrible service.

I don’t know what it was, but something was just lacking on this visit. Perhaps it was that mysterious unami of which people speak — I don’t know. The level of service I received corresponded with their level of busy-ness. When I first arrived, I was one of few. And my server checked in with me with pleasant regularity. When I exited, my water glass had been empty for quite a while, and there was a wait for a table at 6pm. Having neighbors such as Symphony Hall and Huntington Theater will do that to you. At $ 4.99, the Hand-Breaded Zucchini Chips seemed an easy add on to my Chicken Spinoccoli Pasta(A rolled chicken breast filled with mozzarella, feta, broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, garlic and basil with penne in pesto alfredo and chunky tomato sauce) $ 14.99 dinner. It also turned out to be the more satisfying part of the meal with its crisp salty coating covering the hot tender squash. Nothing was precising«wrong» with the pasta — the penne just south of al dente, the chicken tender, all the ingredients were there… but it just seemed… plain. It didn’t make my mouth happy though it filled the tummy just fine. Having had my fill, I still had just under half left over. Temptation was garnered by their well placed ads featuring both a pleasant picture of a dainty treat and an easy on the pocketbook price. I nearly ordered dessert to satisfy my sweet tooth, but my excess minutes expired as I observed my server tackling two tables before me. I paid with a gift card, and they let me have the tip taken off it as well, which was nice. 3 stars. *** 9⁄2015 *** Spinoccoli PIZZA is back in the house!($ 11.99/$ 19.99) For those who have no idea of which I speak, Unos used to have a deep dish pizza filled with spinach and broccoli florets, which had a great taste and a great bite. Yum! My favorite of Uno’s concoctions… well, maybe except for their pizza skins app. I sampled their Jumbo Onion Rings $ 7.99, and they were big and hot and crispy. Actually they were quite good. I also tasted their Ridiculously Awesome, Insanely Large Chocolate Cake $ 8.99 and have to admit it was a really good cake. Chocolatey, moist, not overly sweet. I love that they have a selection of Mini Sweets on their dessert menu for $ 2.59 and am tempted to order one of those on a future visit. Obtaining the attention of a server was initially slow, till I discovered the Call Server option on the Ziosk station they now have set at each table. 3.5 stars.

Anyone who’s been to Uno(being the large chain it is) knows the food is average. This location is no different. Located minutes on foot from Matthews Arena where Northeastern plays hockey and basketball, it’s an easy place for fans to walk after the game and grab a pizza and salad, and possibly watch other sporting events. In a land where pizza is available just about everywhere, this deep dish remains average, at best. Rest assured, Picco down the street blows this away, but it does beat the pizza they serve at 7 – 11. The truth is, sometimes the pizza here is pretty good, others it’s ok. Consistency can be an issue. As is service. Chain food can seem better with solid service, which wasn’t the case, at least in our experiences and after reading other reviews, it seems standard. It took 20 minutes to get our side salad, they forgot plates for our pizza, 20 minutes to find our waitress for a refill on ice tea and she forgot the salad dressing, amongst other things. Meanwhile, we had a TV at our booth, were with family and endured the experience with a smile. Rest assured, the food here is fine, but if you are going to come it’s probably best to stick with a pizza and salad. The meat isn’t great, nor are the kids chicken tenders, which were undercooked and so bad, actually, that my cousin(who’s seven) refused to eat them(and he lives for chicken tenders). Pizza, salad, drinks and you’ll be fine.

Fundraisers galore! This is the place to do your pairing with. Many clubs have hosted fundraisers at this restaurant and I think it’s great that they support students at reasonable percentages, while it also supports their business. But I don’t know why but every time I’ve been to an Uno’s it’s never bested the last. Either someone’s order is messed up, their menu reasoning makes no sense, or service is slow when there’s no one there… I got their lunch special of a salad and buffalo cheese burger sliders and topped it off with a mini brownie sundae. I have to say dessert was the most exciting thing. The food was good because you can’t mess up pizza, a salad, maybe a burger, but the service always needs improvement.

I ordered a rum and coke for $ 5, and 2 small plates for $ 6 each. The coke had spice in it so I know they didn’t not put rum in, but I couldn’t taste the alcohol which is what I like, but I didn’t expect to here anyway. The mushroom pasta was quite bland and the eggplant pizza had very little cheese – just because I got 5 grain crust doesn’t’ mean I’m healthy and don’t like cheese! I remember the food being better here years ago… Staff couldn’t really answer my question about the drinks though.
