A treasure from the town, this BURGERF totally guidelines! Your meals are constantly incredible. The puppies are refreshing, plus they have an array of toppings guaranteeing a delicious food. The men who operate the area will always be on your ball. We have never ever been dissatisfied using this location, as well as the inexpensive costs still impress me.

It’s not bad, but not particularly special. The people working here greet you when you enter, which I thought was a nice touch. I ordered the Twenty Eight burger. It was good, but kind of small. I could get a larger and more flavorful burger from UBurger across the street. But, if you’re comparing this place to Shake Shack, I can see a fair comparison here. The burgers are about the same size and level of mediocrity as Shake Shack. The fries are overly large, which gives them a crispy exterior and a mealy interior. I also liked how they have the coca cola freestyle machine. It’s not bad, and I’d come back here again if UBurger is closed, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

For a fast food burger place, BurgerFi really delivers. The burger’s just taste better, and are always cooked perfectly — no charred briquettes. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick, even though it’s usually crowded. I’ve been there 5 times now, and have yet to have a bad experience. Those of us who frequent other burger joints, like Mickey D’s and BK know that a perfect visit is the exception, not the rule.

Officially my fave fast casual burger joint! I love their special burger sauce. Maybe cuz it’s similar to thousand island dressing! I always build my own with my boring toppings. It suits my boring palette. Yummy moist bun that is slapped with flavorful patty. They also have awesome fries that comes out crunchy and burning hot. I order it with chili and cheese on the side for dipping. For Coke lovers, it’s heavenly to have access to the freestyle machine. Down side is that they don’t always have all flavors in stock.

Rude slow service-AVOID ATALLCOSTS After waiting 30 about 30 minutes for our food I went up the counter and told them that either we needed our money back or we need our orders to-go. What followed next was not an apology but the man at the counter telling me that it was my fault the food wasn’t ready because right after we ordered a big party came in and they decided to work on their food before mine-despite the fact my friend and I had ordered first! I explained that that was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard and was promptly called every name in the book and then some. Got my money back, booked it out of there and will NEVER be back. There are way too many other options in the area to put up with this BS

Good food, but not good enough for what you’re paying. The burgers are tiny, and nothing special. The french fries are the only reasonably sized portion, but you can get better tasting fries at most other burger joints. I ordered the Parmesan fries for an extra dollar, and they were surprisingly tasteless. $ 10.50 is what it cost me for the most basic single stack burger with cheese and an order of Parmesan fries. I probably won’t come back because you can get exceptionally better food at places like UBurger for cheaper

Burger good, customer service sucks, the employees lack a personality and at one point a cook ran into me at the soda fountain and did not excuse himself. Besides the zombie staff the food was delightful. The burgers had a great flavor and the onion rings are some the best I have eaten. ******For the owners, replace your zombie employers with employees that actually care about your product line. No matter how good your food is, your employees have zero personalities and will cause your business to fail. Good luck, I highly recommend the food, if you can get over the zombies known as the employees.

Really convenient location and on Comm Ave. Wonderful set up inside. Fresh ingredients and loved the burger and custard I got. Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been here a couple of times and I’ve always had good experiences with the people and food. I think I’ve always came before the lunch crowd so it’s never crowded when I go. The people are friendly and the place is nice and clean. I’ve tried the burger and fries. The burger was pretty decent and not too greasy. The patties and ingredients were all fresh. The parmesan on the fries definitely gave it a good flavor without being too much. I couldn’t even finish the fries because the portion was so big. I liked this place and would go again when it’s convenient.

I’ve been here a few times with my family as it’s very close to the BU dorms. My first time I ordered the Texas Style Chili Dog and was really disappointed – it was messy, tough to eat, and the dog was not tasty at all. I ended up taking out the meat and just eating the rest. My second time I learned better and built my own burger – a single patty with lettuce and tomato(with no cheese – only $ 3.97!) The burger was juicy, flavorful, and gone in about 3 minutes. If I ever stop by again I’d get this. The vibe is very cool – bright greens and interesting lightpieces/tabletops make this place fun to hangout. They also have a very fancy touch screen soda/water dispenser so you can quickly refill your own water. Tip: building your own burger can be cheaper than the featured burgers, depending on what you get!

BurgerFi, why couldn’t you be tasty and delicious? Everything seemed like it was pointing to good, tasty food– your new location looks great, oh, and it’s right next to my office, btw… I could sneak in to say hello at lunch. But alas, you are just salty, greasy, not very tasty. Those fries and rings always get me– I think they look so amazing and am instantly disappointed when I take a bite and remember they’re not. The fun drink machine gets me excited but then I realize I’d rather just have a diet coke. I do like your veggie burger, it’s pretty solid, but I’m sorry– UBurger across the street just owns you there. No, I don’t think we can be friends.

Solid burgers, delicious fries, good beer prices(PBR $ 2.47, other drafts $ 4.50) all with quick service. Came for lunch with my boyfriend while waiting on car repairs across the street. His: veggie burger with good flavor, thick home-style pickles and real cheddar Mine: BurgerFi Cheeseburger really delicious beef with tasty grills marks and aforementioned pickles Ours: large fries were massive, freshly-made and super tasty(seriously massive, we couldn’t finish them together))

Went here with a friend to grab a bite for lunch. I decided to go with the breakfast burger and split a side of fries. The burger itself was cooked pretty well, but the overall flavor of the burger was too rich. The burger was a decent size for the price as well. The fries had an interesting flavor, but I was not the biggest fan and that fact that they lacked any sauces other than ketchup, mustard, and mayo was a bit disappointing as well. Overall, this place has good burgers but I wish they had a little more variety on the menu overall.

What is shake shack again? I think this place is way better. They have one of those soda machines where you can have a millions combinations, but the classic«Mexican coke» in a glass bottle is probably the best drink to complement the burgers here. Although many people just get the Breakfast all day burger, which is often hilariously abbreviated on your receipt as the BAD burger, I’d suggest getting anything that has cheese in it. The cheese they use is like the same cheese they put on nachos, not just some old slice of cheese. Speaking of cheese, you should also get the chili cheese fries here. They are pretty messy, but really good. I think this restaurant also has milk shakes called«concretes» similar to shake shack, but I don’t come to a burger place for those kind of things.

Not sure why the Unilocal reviews are so low, but I’m glad I stumbled in before checking Unilocal! The burgers are really good here. It’s pretty five guys-esque except for the fact that they do bottled and draft beer which is a huge plus($ 2.47 Pabst Blue Ribbons). The fries were crispy and delicious; I didn’t order any but I ate half my fiancé’s order so I feel qualified to speak of them! Another huge plus is that they are literally right next to the Paradise making it super convenient if you are trying to grab a quick bite before a show(Hozier killed it last night in case you were wondering). We had a great experience with Burgerfi, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

If you’re looking for a cheap burger joint you’ve found it! Its obvious that BurgerFi is trying to compete with other top burger spots like Shake Shake or Five Guys. Unfortunately they fall a little bit short. The burgers themselves are pretty small and are stamped with the logo which makes them even smaller. The topping options aren’t stellar either. For example i love jalapeños on my burger, but unfortunately isn’t an option. They also have a BurgerFi secret sauce which basically just tastes like thousand island dressing. One of the best things I love about five guys and Shake Shack is the thickness of the meat. BurgerFi only offers a small patty that appears to have been smashed with a hammer 100 times. However, BurgerFi does excel at a few things. Their french fries are to die for! I love thin crispy fries and thats EXACTLY what they serve! You can also ask for extra crispy or extra mushy if thats more your style. They also have toppings for their fries. I love the cajun spiced fries but the garlic parmesan fries are great too! Finally, the alcohol situation. BurgerFi offers draft beer, bottles and wine. Most of the draft beers are the normal Boston prices, except for PBR which is served on tap for only $ 2.50! So like i said earlier, if you’re looking for cheap burgers, good friends, and lots of beer, this is definitely the place for you!

Better than Shake Shack in my book. Actually, I didn’t get why the Shake Shacks of New York were known for their long lines, and when the chain finally opened their first spot in Massachusetts, I didn’t get why folks started up lining up for that location as well. Then I tried their food, and I still didn’t get it. As far as I know, BurgerFi did not have any such hoopla. And I only came here for dinner because the concert I was headed to after was at the Agganis Arena, a short walk east. As evidenced by the decorative T-shirts and conversations around us, we were not the only ones with this bright idea. The line to the registers were of the single line serpentine format, which is fairer and faster, but things were rather slow at the register, so it didn’t end up being all that fast. Sometimes none of the registers were actually actively taking orders, although I was not sure what the cashiers were doing at that point. To get the most taste sensation for our buck, two of us shared the following: Breakfast All Day Burger(730 Cal) $ 6.97 Natural Angus burger, American cheese, hickory bacon drizzled with maple syrup, fried egg, hash browns, grilled diced onions, and ketchup 100% Wagyu Kobe Beef Dog(380 Cal) $ 5.57 All-natural Wagyu Kobe beef dog served with choice of style or toppings Large Crispy Onion Rings(980 Cal) $ 5.47 Coffee Mocha Shake(910 Cal) $ 4.77 Vanilla shake spun with coffee and a splash of chocolate syrup Huge onion rings! Quite eye-catching and impressive looking. I enjoyed them, but thought the actual onion rings themselves a bit thin though cut wide beneath the coating. Speaking of which, one friend felt there was too thick a coating on it, while another noted that oil on hers. Though highly touted by previous guests, it has room for improvement. I snagged a few fries from a third member of our party and found them to be on the soft side — I’d probably would request them«well done» as noted on their so called Secret Menu, published on their website. They were, however, generously portioned for sharing, which was why we were encouraged to help ourselves. The breakfast burger felt utterly sinful in that my DC was glad that she would be working out the next day. The Kobe dog was good but nothing special. I did appreciate that we were given the option of a number of toppings for free as well as a few additional ones for a price, and they were able to honor our request to have them on the side, so that we could each dress our half any way we wished. I loved the diced grilled onions, but my DC didn’t care for the enticing sounding garlic aioli, while she consumed the pickle slices. As I caught the staffer decorating the inside of a cup with chocolate syrup in preparation for pouring our shake, she was entirely willing to honor my request for her to split our shake for us. So each half was gussied up with the same attention as the original whole. And yum it was! But so glad we shared, because it was thick and filling, never mind the calories… Allergy Warning: They use 100% peanut oil. 3.5 stars.

This review is only for their fries and Breakfast All Day burger, along with one time I also got takeout(which I don’t recommend). Their regular fries are a great size. I love french fries. I couldn’t finish it so I shared it with my friends. I thought it was the perfect consistency between crunchy and soft, and usually like my fries well done but it didn’t seem necessary. The Breakfast All Day burger was really good. The only thing I’ll say is that the patty is so small and smushed from the«BurgerFi» stamp that it makes the burger seem small. I was definitely full from this burger and the fries, but I don’t think I’d be as full from a normal cheeseburger. For so much emphasis on BURGERfi, they really seem to care more about the French fries, shakes, etc than the actual burger. They should be bigger. I really did enjoy the burger, but feel that a lot of their restaurant/food concept copies Shake Shack and doesn’t make it that authentic. I also did take out once when the hype was crazy during the school year at BU. I really don’t recommend doing take out if you get fries. They serve the food to-go in an open bag, but the fries end up getting soggy. I had gotten the fries well-done, and basically they ended up being WAAAAYY too oily and soggy from a 10 minute walk. Such a waste.

My first burger here was 5 star material. It had the right amount of everything, the cheese was melty and the bun was soft and yielding. I’ve been back twice since then in search of a repeat event, but so far no dice. The following burgers were 3 star material, so I’m thinking that must be the average and my first burger was a delicious, delicious outlier. I like their fries, very similar to 5 Guys as others wrote. Also I’ll spare a word for the ketchup cups which allow a big surface area of ketchup so you can dip long fries in and still get tons of ketchup. Not a big thing but I like it. Also they have those futuristic touchscreen mix-n-match soda machines if that’s your thing. The atmosphere is nice and handles the business of the restaurant as well as can be expected for a burger place near BU, with long tables that can seat several parties. I mean, the food is somewhat overpriced, but it’s about par for the course among this type of burger restaurant. I don’t think they’re more expensive than Shake Shack, probably even less. The burger patties are thin, but that’s my favorite type of burger so I don’t mind, and they’re not at all stingy with their fries so I feel like it works out. If you’re not willing to pay $ 10-$ 15 for a burger, fries and shake, go to Burger King down the road, it’s the only place I know that’s cheaper, and you pay in quality. I’ll be back. I live in Allston and I can confidently say they have the best burger in Allston(not that great of a compliment since they’re only really battling Uburger, Tavern in the Square and bars) so whenever I’m cravin’ and don’t want to take the T anywhere this place will have my money.

Meh — I was pretty excited about coming here to eat. Was really hoping for something as good as or better than Shake Shack. Can’t say that I was impressed. The burgers were a bit on the small side, and the patty was overcooked even though I asked for medium. To be honest, it tasted a bit like the Burger King whopper. The fries were pretty good — crisp thicker fries. Got the Parmesan Herb topping which was decent, but flavor was still too light for my taste. Ended up putting ketchup on it anyway. If I come back, will probably try the hot dogs and hope for a better experience.
