UBurger

I’m a big fan of Uburger but I had a pretty bizarre experience here last night… The service and food was fine but the management really leaves something to be desired. I had ordered a combo with a shake and asked for a cup for water as well. I accidentally filled my water cup with soda water and the manager immediately came over and literally publicly shamed me, demanded that I pour it out, and basically insinuated that I was intentionally stealing from the restaurant. I kept waiting for him to crack a smile and for it all to be a joke, but it certainly wasn’t. It was really embarrassing and not how I want to be treated as a paying customer. I can’t help but wonder if he is usually this unpleasant, but I certainly won’t come back to find out.
In addition, something was wrong with the TVs and this same manager proceeded hover over us and bark at Comcast throughout the entirety of our meal.
Not a pleasant dining environment…

Disappointed — while the food usually tastes good my order disappointed tonight.
Order the A+ Burger with Extra A1 — when I got home found they had put no A1 on it at all. So now I basically have a plain burger…
Come on folks — you can do better. If I wanted orders made wrong I would go to McDonalds.

Big papi burger was great. I’m a big fan of sweet potato fries but the regular potato ones were small but tasty as well.
I’d definitely recomend getting a frappé if you’re hungry enough.

I went here because it’s close to my work. I wasn’t expecting much. I already have a fave burger place in Boston, but I was pleasantly surprised. My burger was rally good and was ready fast.
Great place to catch a quick burger! I will be back.

I’ve been to this Uburger a few times since it is on my way home. The food is good, and the quality of service is decent as well. I’ve never had a complaint about any of my times eating here. I would definitely recommend the All-​In burger along with the cheese fries. The burgers are great!

Have had a few burgers here. Overall, I’m of the opinion that Boston has too many burger places — I can already think of quite a few places that make a good beef sandwich. UBurger is no exception — food here is good, and I really enjoyed my burger, but its a saturated market with a lot of competition.
In the burger spectrum, this is definitely the huge, dribbly, need a bib to eat kind of place. The portions are large and everything is bacon-​this or mayo-​that. I love that they have sharp cheddar and egg as topping choices, and I’m fond of the build-​your-​own option. Their portion sizes are huge. Prices are reasonable especially given the portions. Service could be faster, but I’ve literally never seen this place crowded so I don’t really mind. One pet peeve is that I don’t see the tables as being very clean — there’s usually grease or particles that lead me to believe that they don’t wipe down the tables after use.
Love the burgers here, love the toppings. A bit skeptical of the cleanliness, but overall I always drop by when I’m in the area.

As a student I used to go to the kenmore location several times a week. They have good, greasy burgers that come out quickly. Perfect student comfort food. No longer a student, I’m more selective about where I eat, and Uburger is an (occasional) nostalgic bite into an oil soaked past.
The fries, both the regular and sweet potato, are solid but not the highlight they should be at a burger place. They are bland and overly oily.
They have a surprisingly good veggie burger. Not as impressive as B Good’s veggie burger, but it’s a soy-​free burger made out of rice that works well with their toppings. Try the jalapeño topping, works well with everything!
The food is tasty and greasy, but if you’re looking for a healthy option this isn’t the place.

Grabbed lunch here with family, and was pleasantly surprised! The custom burger option was great for those of us who very pretty picky/​wanted to experiment, and the premade popular burger menu items were awesome for a quick fast yummy selection:). Fries were a bit overly oily, but I’ve seen worse. They have great add-​on options if you’re willing to pay extra (egg, avocado, etc.). Also seems to be a good eat in/​take out for the local college students!

Love the All-​in burger with the white and black shake. I could eat it seven days a week. Staff is friendly. And the food is consistently superior every time.

Went here to grab a salad for lunch since it is close to my work. After perusing the salad list, I decided to go with the spiro salad and added grilled chicken to it.
I was not expecting much, but this salad was actually very enjoyable, and was a great size for the price.
Not a bad place to grab a quick bite, even if you want to keep it healthy.

Great place to go if you’re looking for a quick burger, but something nicer than McDonalds. UBurger has a great selection of burgers with unique topping combinations for very reasonable prices. The ingredients are fresh, and the burger isn’t as greasy as what you’ll get at most fast-​food joints. The fries are definitely forgettable, but the frappes are amazing. They offer a bunch of generic flavours, but they also have seasonal flavours from time to time. Last fall I got a pumpkin pie flavoured frappé and I honestly could have eaten 10 of them on the spot

The service was good. The meal was above average overall a good burger.

spiro chicken salad yum!!! always consistent and always great service! burgers are fresh fries are super crispy and juicy. I think they got voted as having the best fries! idk how other ppl say ‘don’t come here looking for a salad’ but they are prob just doing it wrong!

They cook everything made to order. Surrounded by way too many food businesses but are quaint and Green with their materials. They also work with locally grown raw foods. Their shakes are just what you need to complete your meal. Fast pace burger joint with that lil something different. Hand cut skin on fries. Burgers cooked to the temp you need it. Their chicken sandwiches are something awesome with a wide range to choose from named on their menu.

Pretty mediocre burgers. Nothing special here. It does get the job done when you want a quick greasy burger and fries but I can’t recommend it beyond that. It’s not particularly cheap either.
I recommend the Boom Burger and Big Papi Burger.

Service was fast and nice! They were very nice and the food is amazing. I got a burger and large fries. The fries were amazing and heaping.
Plus the bathroom was pretty nice too!
The whole place is very clean and tasty.

I know, ordering a salad at a burger place is like renting a hooker and asking for a hug. I should have known better. The chicken, toppings and dressing were really good but the lettuce was wilted and warm. Since a salad is 75% lettuce, I didn’t get to eat much. So if you’re looking for chicken at Uburger I’d try a sandwich! On a better note, the burgers and fries are perfect! Just wasn’t in the mood today.
(The next day)
I got soooooooo sick about two hours after eating this salad!!! I had to abandon my plans and go straight home. I will never eat there ever again!!!

The staff was surly. Just plain surly. Not helpful, no smiles, nothing. I felt like they wanted me to die. So there’s that.
Foodwise, I got a hotdog and it was hella greasy. The bun was saturated in butter (or some other mystery oil) and rolled on the grill a couple times and the hot dog itself wasn’t helping the grease situation. I could get a better hot dog from a street vendor.
I had a couple bites of my bf’s burger and it was middlin’. Not great by any means, and only lukewarm, but the toppings were plentiful. I liked the fries a lot, because they were hot and not over-​salted. Definitely solid, but nothing you couldn’t get at Five Guys or similar.
Maybe I’ll come back here if I can get over the violently unfriendly staff and my standards for a burger aren’t too high, but I won’t be rushing back.

This place has the most solid veggie burger of any place I’ve tried. Instead of a bean or soy base, the burger is made with rice and the heavier texture makes it work. I’ve gotten mine as cowboy burgers and my favorite, the «A1» burger (a1, cheese, lettuce, tomato and fried onion strings).
The fries are natural style with skin on, not my favorite kind, but theirs are actually really good.
Definitely recommend it!
