This is my favorite bank, and I love that Pete’s Coffee & Tea café’ is right there, too. Most mornings before work I stop in for a delicious Latte’(beverages are 50% off with one’s Capital One debit card!). And whenever I have banking questions, the bank associates at Capital One respond professionally, promptly, and with a smile. This is a fantastic bank — but without that stuffy bank feeling. Capital One cares about their customers, and the Banking Associates go out of their way to meet your needs. And — no fees! A nice interest rate on their savings account! Excellent customer service after hours on their toll-free number. And their ATM machines are absolutely amazing! Need to withdraw $ 9.00 cash? Well, you can request $ 9.00 and not be limited to the usual«$ 20.00 only» option. These ATM’s are easy to use, too, and they are truly FULL-service ATM’s. I’ve been a Capital One customer since 2006 and they keep getting better; this bank is way ahead of the curve. I recommend you stop in at the Capital One café to see what I mean. I have a true«bank home» at my Capital One bank café’ at 129 Tremont Street. And new locations are popping up all around.

Great place to get some work done. Modern, attractive space with Peet’s coffee(and almond milk, yay!), pastries, free wifi, and plenty of outlets. I just wish there were a few more tables for the morning rush.

I’ve stopped going to Starbucks after I’ve discovered capital one 360. Great coffee, great prices. The only complaint I have is that it’s open at bank hours, that mean no drinks on holiday and after 6pm!

The ATM is one of only a half-dozen locations east of the Mississippi where I can deposit cash into my Capital One 360(formerly ING Direct) account.(WHY?!) Too often the ATM tells me that it’s not accepting deposits that day. Some days it doesn’t work at all. You guys look silly calling yourselves a quasi-branch if you can’t even take my money. Due to the fussiness of the machine about accepting bills that have been folded ever, and the fact that you’re only supposed to insert 30 at a time, depositing cash is very, very slow. A deposit that took 20 seconds a few years ago with a paper deposit envelope takes about 20 minutes now, so I guess re-inserting the same damn dollar 7 times, technological inefficacy, a line of irritated people, and elevated cortisol production are the price we must pay for an ATM that plays video of ethnically diverse«clients» engaged in mundane tasks, and says«Hi, I am an ATM» in 3 languages. The Capital One reps cannot help you when the almighty system is down or if your money is crinkly – quite honestly, I’m not sure what their purpose is – but they are gracious about it and may offer you a free water bottle.

Reliable, friendly, and delicious — the three things you need in your pre-work coffee. I love having Peet’s downtown — it’s a better option for me than being tempted by the sugary drinks at Starbucks. The espresso here is top-notch and the service is generally quick. The best part: a seating area that’s kept clean. The last café in this location didn’t have this, and it’s a huge boon to the neighborhood to be able to meet colleagues and friends here and know that as long as there’s a seat available, it will be a classy place to sit for a few minutes.

I have to say, I always have a question about my 360. I have to say that EVERYSINGLE time I come in here these people make my day. Thank you Jamal, Amber, Fabricio & Jeff. Thanks to all of you! I always leave happy with the exceptional help and of course can’t leave without a coffee :)

The café has great potential, but it’s typically an empty space w/no energy and there is greeter that is just plain awkward when you walk in the door. Yes, it’s Peet’s Coffee, but not sure what Alyssa is talking about, a small black coffee is more expensive than Starbucks. Tons of potential. Add some music, light the aura, and take the awkward out when someone walks in.

The staff is pretty damn good and always give away free stuff. I frequent this place a lot. The only problem i have is the homeless outside the area but that is no fault of the café. With half off with your capital one card it is really hard to complain. I also like the freebies they have frequently.

Went there yesterday and was helped by an awesome employee(jeff?) who helped me get my awkward stroller through the door to the atm. I haven’t had a chance to actually use the café yet since I usually just visit for bank related reasons, but the staff is so wonderful that I’ll probably try them out soon.

Super convenient, inexpensive, speedy service, great coffee. I’ve been hitting up this café often on my way to work since I get on the T at Park Street and it’s only a few steps away from the entrance. I’m always in and out in less than 5 minutes. Seriously, by the time I’m handed back my card and walk the few feet to the pick-up counter, my $ 2 iced coffee is ready. I’m relatively new to Peets coffee, but I’m definitely a fan. Even when iced, the coffee maintains a rich, strong flavor. Love it, big fan of this café. Can’t say much about the food. The pastries and ready-made foods in the cooler look good, but I haven’t had any to report back on. I tried a breakfast sandwich once and it wasn’t anything to write home about, I think it was just a microwaved English muffin with egg & spinach. Which was fine, I didn’t expect anything more than that. Probably not worth it though. Will have to try the baked goods though when I feel like a caloric splurge.

Unlike most coffee shops, they have more than just non-fat and soy as milk option. They have almond milk! Their almond milk latte is on point and the perfect start to my mornings. Solid iced coffee and for warm summer days, check out their blended drinks — I love the coffee blended and matcha green tea blended. 50% off all drink orders with a Capital One card too. Heck yes, savings! That means I have an excuse to drink double the coffee!

Surprisingly nice café! I would never know if our friend didn’t suggest to us to go there to chat. Again, I ordered espresso(with a small cinnamon add on :)) and my girl ordered white chocolate mocha! Nice combination :)

This is the best place to take your breakfast at, I go there for breakfast and during my break at noon, sometimes even 3 times a day! I can’t spend a day without my jasmine tea … Beside the music radio, wifi, the prices are way fair.

First time I tried this place with my coworker it was awesome. It wasn’t crowded during the late afternoon. The place was so cozy and iced coffee was really good and i would want to come back to Peet’s again very soon. Perfect place to study and get some work done and WI-FI was pretty good too. This place is very convenient right across the street from Park Street T station. Wish they had a special if you showed them your charliecard/ticket that would be nice. :-)

TL;DR It’s a bank that is also a café, and that’s weird but in a good way! Didn’t think to stop in here until I saw all my classmates with Peet’s cups; I thought it was a bank! I find the whole bank/café concept pretty bizarre, but in a good way. I like this conscious movement of a bank to be more like a place where you can hang out and get stuff done. It challenges the annoying precedent of «banker’s hours» and stuffy inaccessibility. The location is great and I like the idea of a bank that encourages you to stay a while. .. even if I still find that concept a little weird. The coffee itself isn’t earth-shattering, but it’s quite decent, and I like the pastries a lot: I’ve sampled the chocolate-chip scone and the cinnamon twist so far. And the price for coffee is excellent, half-off if you use a CapitalOne card!(Which I already do anyway, so that plus its proximity to my school makes this place a no-brainer for me.) They also have free samples of tea and coffee beans, and I think the latter must be popular, because I saw several people in my line purchase those.

Can’t believe I’ve been a member of this bank forever and I’ve not once visited a branch! It used to be ING but now it’s Capital One 360, in my opinion nowadays all banks are evil and it’s extremely hard to find a bank that actually caters to it’s customers. Capital One 360 actually seems to care about their customers unlike Bank Of America, which I unfortunately still have an account with. The location of this bank is right down the street from Boston Common and is in a pretty busy area. It sucks that there isn’t really anywhere convenient to park in the area. Another bummer is that you can’t make cash deposits via ATM but I was informed by one of the employees that hopefully by the end of the year they will have that capability and also be opening up a few more locations throughout Boston and Massachusetts. Other than that walking into this bank is so welcoming and wonderful. They had this home made Ice Cream company Cold Fusion(Walpole, MA) offering samples of their ice cream. I then looked over and they had a complete Café menu set up with pastries, coffee etc !(UNREAL!) The customer service is absolutely superb at the branches and on the phone. No Fees, you can set an overdraft limit so you don’t screwed in fees like with other big banks. Savings Account and Checking Accounts accrue higher interest than most banks, the debit card they give you is designed pretty cool. Straight forward, honest, clear, and up front set up with the finances online. NOBS like with Bank of America or other banks. Plenty of ATM’s using the All Point network, text message and e-mail alerts, etc. p. s.- only downside is when money is transferred in or out of the account it takes two business days for the transaction to occur, unlike some of the big Banks where it’s pretty instant.

Now you can get Peet’s Coffee at ½ off by showing your Capital One card. Peet’s is usually my favorite, so it’s good all around. Also Capital One has their own 24 hr ATM to make check deposits– cash dp’s in a few months I was told. Nice corner location too. Bright with big windows. Not a large place, but the dedicated C 1ATM means deposits available sooner.
