I have had a couple services with them, they went smoothly great. The last one, though, I would just say I had a bad luck since a service guy somehow did manage to scratches all my wheels when changing the tires (small scratches, I wouldn’t care if it happened to my old Ford Focus, but unfortunately it happened to my new baby). I almost could not keep myself calm, I came back after I had left for 10 mins (I did not check it before I left since it was raining), Corey (the service manager) hurriedly came and asked what happened, he then took a look at all the damages. I was reckless to not check it before I left the shop, and Corey had all the rights not to believe me, but he did believe me and it feels very grateful when someone believes in your honesty.
Now, all the issues have been taken care of, Corey and Firestone did take the responsibility very well. I truly appreciate it. I would not have been calm without his help. I would say, all my years in the US, Corey is the service manager with the best service mind I have ever met.
Anyone who is hesitating to go there because of the low star review in Google or anything else (like I was on the first time), please go. They are very fine people offering a great quality of work. In the worst case scenario (when you had a bad luck — which could happen in any shops), you still have Corey who you can trust and could sincerely help you through the rough time.

Place runs hot and cold. I’ve been here about 5 times. Last time was a cold one, they tried to upsell me on a few things I know I don’t need. For example, we got a new car — has just under 3k miles on it. Brought it in to change winter tires out for our regular tires. They said I needed an alignment. What? It’s a brand new car, it’s not pulling, and even if it did I would take it to the dealership and make them do it. I called them on it and expressed my surprise and confusion. They were casual and just repeated that it could use an alignment and that I should buy the lifetime alignment service! Which I know to be complete BS because I bought that with my earlier car and every time I brought it in for an alignment they said I didn’t need one and printed me out a diagram showing why. I’m old and wise now so don’t get upset about this sort of thing since the wool they try to pull over my eyes is transparent for me.
I then said I wanted an oil change and they said OK. I told them I had a coupon and that triggered a response that my car required full synthetic, which means a $ 70 oil change (I kid you not, $ 70 for an oil change). That made me giggle. The people were nice enough though. Be careful here.

Aight, here’s the rundown.
I’ve been here many many times to get my oil changed, and have always gotten solid service. However, the reason as to why I’m giving this particular experience a 1 star, is because I had something stolen from within my vehicle from whomever was working on my vehicle. On my driver side door, in the lower compartment, there are two things I have: a glasses cloth and my neoprene mask for warmth for when I’m shoveling. Those two things has stayed within that compartment for the last year, until I hopped in my car a couple of days later and noticed it went missing. I gave a call, spoke to a supervisor, and his response was very nonchalant, almost sounding like it happens on the regular, in that people call in to report missing items all the time after having their car worked on. I do however appreciate him following up and giving me a call to let me know that nothing has been found, but obviously the guy who worked on my car is never going to say «yeah, I took something from his car.»
I hate giving reviews like this, but regardless of the value of the item, I turn over my car and the contents within it, entrusting that I get my car and my items back, unscathed and untouched. However, my trust for this location is gone and will take my business and trust elsewhere.
TL;DR: Hide yo kids, hide yo wives.

These are good people. The guys at the front desk helped me replace my battery although they did not have to… It got complicated and they persisted. And refused to take payment for the work!

I am a repeat, loyal customer. These days, it’s hard to find the type of great service and just plain honesty I get when I go here. If your car is not feeling well or in need of fixin’, just get on down there and Kyle and his team of great technicians will get your sled running right, tight and righteous again. Trust is hard to earn, but these guys have mine.

Post inspection mechanic gave a very detailed feedback and a quote for recommended changes.

Showed up on a Sunday morning with a flat tire (not repairable). They showed me what they had in stock, I picked one out, and we were in and out in under an hour.
The price was perfectly fair. We got a tire for our accord for about $ 50. The installation was something like 13 $. A plus was that they didn’t tack on 5 $ without telling me for ‘nitrogen’ inflated tires. This is typical for most tire shops. The total cost was 75 $.

Positive experience — I got a quote for a brake and rotor repair from the dealer and knew that the dealer’s prices are always the highest. So called Firestone and got a quote for 30% less! Made an appointment on the spot, got a call a little later than expected but not a big deal for me, and was done. Courteous service and would especially recommend if you are looking for specific work to be done and need an alternative to the dealer.

I just let them do oil change for my car, but after that, the service engine light is ON! They suck!

I have been to this FS a few times. My initial oil change didn’t go as well due to broken seal at the canister for my mini. They made it right. Second time around made an appointment online and showed up to get the oil change done. It was done timely manner despite there were 4 other cars in their bays.
People who get taken for a ride need to learn about cars a bit more to protect themselves. Google is your best friend and chances are the problem you have isn’t anything new and many people can give you some heads up in online forums. Know before you go in. You can always go elsewhere and always ask them to show you what the problematic part is and ask the old part back to ensure they indeed replaced what they said that they would. Then you can toss it in the trash yourself or hold onto it until problem is resolved.

Please never go to firestone, do yourself a favor.
The AC on my car was not working, so I had my car checked there. After a day, they gave me a phone call, said that I need to change the fan in the front of my car and something else (I was not quite understand). I agreed. After three day, I paid 900 dollars for that fan module and got my car back. When I sat on my car and opened the AC, I found the AC was still not working! I was so furious and went to their manager. The manager totally denied their responsibility and asked me to leave the car their again. I had no choice but leave the car. Two days later, they told me that they changed a new compressor for my car. So I went there and paid another 750 dollars for that. I checked the AC again this time, it is finally working. Then I open the front hood and found that everything is so messed up. The engine cover was cracked, the air hose is twisted and even has not screws on it! What was worse, the plastic connection was broken too! The manager asked a «30 years experience» Machinist to fix this. The big dark guy took 30 minutes to find the right place to put the screw on.
In a conclusion, it costs me 1700 dollars to fix a AC problem, and their refused to give the old replaced parts. And my engine cover and air hose connection was cracked which I need spend anther 300 dollars to replace them.

After the place I had an original appt with did not have (and could not get for 2 weeks) the tire I needed, I called the folks at Firestone and they helped me track down who had one in stock, which was the Comm Ave location. I ended up there pretty close to closing time after getting stuck in traffic coming from my original appt, but they still took my car even though it ended up being after hours. I was very appreciative of Andre and the team for helping me out (I’m sure the the last thing they wanted to do on a Friday was stay late) and I’m very grateful.

I like the team at this firestone; I think every mechanic or repair services shop will give you a long list of things you need to fix, so I think it is your job (as the owner) to do a little more due diligence, and ask the right questions to know what is imperative to fix or work on.
I have dealt with Michael (Service Manager) and Steve (Tire Manager) the most, so I always call and quite frankly do not want to speak to anyone else, because I feel like they have a good handle on my car. I also think it is important to develop a relationship with whoever your working with because that is when they will tell you what the «imperative» upgrades to your car are.
With regards to time, they are a busy location, so you need to ask them how long it will take. They have always been under their estimated time of completion with the jobs I have requested, so I have no complaints here.
The one thing I think that they can improve upon is negligence, but overall I think they are an awesome team for such a busy location, and I would give their customer service a 5-​star!

Really accommodating experience. Hospitable from the moment I walked in the door. I was helped by a man named Steve England, he called around to get the cheapest price possible for the parts that I needed. He also applied as many coupons to the order as he could find. The waiting area is comfortable with complimentary coffee. It’s been a bad winter and kindness is rare but I will say confidently that every person working at this Firestone location is kind and accommodating.

Don’t get your tires there uses you have 2 hours for them to install. Wish they had told me the wait time before hand. I would have went somewhere else.

I’m a long time firestone customer. Mainly because I travel a lot but also because they’ve done good work with me. This is of course outside of Miami. That city is just a gold mine for people trying to play each other.
This location was easy to find and on a weekday at 10am was not THAT busy. I made an appointment for an oil change, tire installation, and possibly a new battery. I had a friendly mechanic who went over all my info. After about an hour they confirmed that my battery was fine but recommended doing a fuel system cleaning to help with the cold cranking. Then he went down the stock they had on tires and prices. He showed me what they had so I knew he wasn’t just making it up. I went with a mid range tire and the price was right around what I thought ($ 135 a tire).
It did take longer than expected. I got there at 10:30am and expected to be done by 1pm. I didn’t get the car back until closer to 3 I believe. That’s of course after adding the fuel system cleaning that takes 20 minutes, according to the mechanic. Fortunately for this location, they have many places to eat and other places to check out while you wait.
I’m writing this about 2 weeks after my visit and my car is still fine. I would come back if I needed to.

I definitely agree with most of the other posts. This place is a scam. I took my car in because the windshield fluid sprayers weren’t working. After a few hours they said they fixed it. I went out to get my car and it was still broken. The guy who works there said, well it was working for him. I said how was it not working for me this morning, not working for me now, but working for you in between at some point. He brought his mechanic back out who confirmed that yes it was not working. I asked why I got charged for it when it clearly wasn’t fixed and he said, oh the other mechanic must’ve lied to me and said it was fixed but it really wasn’t. I will give you a refund but we can’t fix it. This place is a joke.

It’s pretty freaking tough to feel decent about auto repair chains. Let’s admit that up front, eh? That said, I’ve never felt cheated by these guys. I take my car in for a complete workover about once a year; most times, they just recommend the standard oil-​filter-​tuneup combo that only costs a hundred bucks.
Recently, I needed quite a few not-​at-​all-​minor repairs. They explained each of the repairs they were recommending, but they didn’t push me to get anything done. They were quick, dealt well with my complicated schedule, and let me know what might be wise in the future, all without making me feel stupid or pressured.
Cars require work. Mechanics differ on opinions of when it’s best (or essential!) to get work done. These guys acknowledge that and offer as much info as they’re able. I appreciate data that comes without normative statements from the data-​delivery mechanism! Thanks, Firestone. You’re okay with me.

I bought two new tires as one was badly punctured. They put on wrong sized tires — 225 rather than 235. When I brought the car back, they gave me no explanation other than things like that happens. They said they’ll call me back when replacement tires came in, which they didn’t. They don’t pick up phone and when they do, calls are dropped. No call back when car was ready. When I picked up the car, one tire was over inflated and other was under inflated. Also, cap was missing on one new tire.
No way I am going back.
