My grandson was so happy to find this and be able to skate for as long as he wanted. I was happy to let him go and have as much fun as he wanted and get to enjoy an outside skating place, not something you ever see in Florida, where he lives. I would take him here again, no problem.

I was so excited when I saw advertisements for ‘ice skating’ coming to Quincy Market — only a couple of blocks from my home. What a great idea, I had thought! Turns out to be an awful joke! Its not ice. It’s lame PLASTC. You use ice skates to ‘glide’ on plastic – despite signs and a website claiming an «Ice Rink»(why not call it a Skating Rink for a little honesty). And don’t go thinking that skating on plastic is some great idea. The surface is about half as fast as ice, so its a very poor imitation. To top it off, there’s $ 5 adult/$ 3 child admission and $ 5 to rent skates. Your steep admission is also rewarded with a single, lame boom box to add musical atmosphere. Oh, unlike other local skating options, you also sign away any injury rights.
