Came for breakfast before going off to my cruise and it was amazing! Kenny was our server and was excellent! He chatted with us while explaining the menu thoroughly, making us feel really comfortable. The food was delicious. I had the egg Benedict for the first time and it was mouth watering! Underneath had a tatter-tot waffle, so how can it get any better than that?! The portions are larger and the prices are so affordable. I’ll definitely be back! Great food, unbelievably great service and a beautiful spot!

For being in the Westin, this is not a recommendation even for those staying at the hotel. The service was terrible from the food just being tossed down to the waiter NEVER coming to check on us to the check being dropped on the table without asking us if we wanted dessert(which we did). Food decent but portions small. There is just no reason for unfriendly and poor service.

Lovely place to hide from the PAX insanity. Strong drinks(though a little pricy) and yummy looking food. Bartender was helpful and attentive!

This is open for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast there is a menu that you can order from or you can choose to do the breakfast buffet. The buffet was ok, it wasn’t much of a step up from the standard continental type hotel breakfast. The scrambled eggs were not the best and quite frankly for the $ 25pp that you pay for the buffet, there should be better options, like made to order eggs or fresh waffles.(Which some buffets have) It’s very convenient but I don’t think it is worth the money charged. I did like that they leave little pots of coffee on the table so you can warm up your cup without having to wait for the wait staff to come by. However, I would suggest going elsewhere for breakfast. There are plenty of places close by and the hotel has a Starbucks with breakfast sandwiches if you don’t want to leave the hotel.

Decidedly lackluster. I came here because some of my wife’s family was in town and staying at the Westin. The plusses to coming here? If you’re already here, there’s *nothing* else around. The minuses? Let’s see: — Holycrapexpensive. I think the brunch buffet was $ 23 apiece. If you just got two eggs and sausage that was $ 15. It’s a captive market and they know it. — We got the buffet, which comes with eggs. We ordered the eggs from our waitress done once-over. What we got was the eggs about 40 minutes later, for two eggs mind you, and they were less cooked I think than they were in the shell. Juice also needs to go through the waitress, and really who wants to wait 40 minutes for a glass of juice? The service was absolutely abysmal. I can’t imagine coming here if you’re actually on a schedule. You’d have to order the night before for them to actually have your food ready for brunch. — Parking. Parking for 2 hours is $ 20, and there is no place else to park. Short story: If you’re stuck in the hotel, I guess you won’t starve, but your wallet will be considerably lighter. If you’re not a captive audience in the hotel, avoid this place like the plague.

Located in the Westin Hotel is society I have eaten here about five times and the food is been pretty consistent. The service here is very good and any server that I’ve had has been very attentive. Because this place is located in the west and the prices are little bit expensive. The one morning there was three of us we had tea coffee orange juice one breakfast buffet and 2 Eggs Your Way and the bill came over $ 70 I thought that was a bit expensive for breakfast. The menu is not all that big. For $ 23 you can get the breakfast buffet which basically incorporates everything that they have on the menu. For $ 14 you can get the eggs your way which is any style egg bacon sausage or ham with home fries for $ 14. In my opinion you’re paying less for the exact same thing that you would pay $ 23 for at the buffet. You end up getting more for your money with a $ 14 eggs your way deal. Overall it’s a good breakfast spot if you’re staying at the Westin it’s a little bit pricey so just keep that in mind. I will be back here next time I’m in town.

It’s the only place within a mile or so radius to get food if you’re staying at the Westin. Ordered off the breakfast menu and the items were standard, except for the potatoes which were woefully undercooked. How can I be a fatty if I can’t eat all my potatoes? For that, it’s meh, I’ve had better.

I got the clam chowder and the shrimp salad. The chowder was ok. Nothing special, not a lot of clams and the potatoes had the texture of frozen. The shrimp salad looked beautiful, but the 4(4!) shrimp were over-cooked to the extreme and they were also stingy with the avocado. the shallot had not been skinned well enough or cooked thoroughly enough. And sadly, for a place called Sauciety, the dressing was bland, bland, bland. If you are staying at the hotel, go across the walking bridges to the waterfront and eat there. This caters to a captive convention center audience who has few other options.

Apparently people have had bad experiences here for lunch, but if you’re a guest at the hotel the breakfast experience is perfect. Every single food item in the buffet is amazing– they really put care into cooking their food. The service was extremely fast, knowing that guests(like me) are often here for breakfast very early trying to get in and out quick. No complaints.

We came in about 2:30 in the afternoon on day 1 of the seafood expo, so I’m going to be a little lenient, assuming the waitstaff was tired from a very busy lunch. We had to ask for another table because we were sat at a wobbly one right by the noisy entrance to the kitchen. This wasn’t an issue since the dining room was more than half empty. Then we had to ask for a server to come take our order after waiting too long. Food then came out quickly which was nice. But then, so did the check, while we were still finishing our meals. Menu looked very good. Seafood soup was OK. Sweet potato fries were disappointing. Spinach salad was good. Bussers were sloppy and unfriendly and servers were undisciplined and tired. Like I said earlier, was probably bad luck coming at the end of a busy lunch, but one would expect that staff at a location like this would be used to that.

We were staying at the Westin during a blizzard, so we decided to have brunch at Sauciety on a Sunday morning. Surprisingly, it wasn’t busy at all. The hostess seemed annoyed we were interrupting her conversation and never made eye contact. The wait staff was friendly, but didn’t seem well trained. Both servers we dealt with had to go back and forth to the kitchen to ask questions about what was available and we had to ask for refills/second drinks 2 or 3 times before they remembered. I received the wrong salad, my husband received the wrong side item, the waffle was overdone… it was a mess.

For the price I was hopping for a little more. With M.J.‘s a few feet away, i feel it’s hard to recommend Sauciety. The service was a little slow, and the food was pretty plan at a high price.

Service is not great but not terrible. I sat a the bar so cannot speak for the other waitstaff. Ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a lobster roll. You only have a choice of a bowl, but don’t fret, it’s the size of a cup. Bowl price stays though. The lobster roll was meh, the lobster tasted a little bitter, not sweet, and certainly not succulent. Just like the Irish pub here at the hotel, you dine here only if you have to or when you like dropping $ 31(tip not included) on a meh sandwich and above average soup.

We ate breakfast here twice b/c it was convenient. Both times we ordered off the menu and didn’t do the buffet, but if you have kids under 5(especially if you have more than one kid) the buffet is free for them and seems like a steal! Both times I ordered the same thing: 2 poached eggs, dry wheat toast, potatoes, and side of tomatoes. Now they do put olive oil on the tomatoes which they don’t necessarily tell you, nor did I necessarily want that, so be forewarned. Meal was $ 14, which isn’t cheap, but was very tasty. We had 2 different servers each time and both were prompt and courteous.

Isn’t it interesting what a lack of competition will do? On a rainy Sunday afternoon there were almost no other lunch options in the area, so instead of paying $ 5 for a protein bar at the gift shop(btw, who’s buying gifts at these places anyway??) I submitted to eating lunch here. The menu was uninspiringly narrow, and I settled on a $ 20 panini, which I had to return for a re-do because the chicken was ridiculously fatty(have you ever seen chicken thighs used on a sandwich before??). Ultimately the sandwich wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, but wasn’t worth half its price or the hassle I went through to get it made right.

I stayed at the Westin Waterfront for a conference, Sauciety is inside the hotel. As you can expect with a hotel restaurant, they are not aiming to please, they know you will most likely only have one meal there, so they are not concerned with your happiness. Its over priced, un-attentive service, small portions, and just flat out bland. I had the clam chowder, it was ok, but the cup was a little bigger than a portion I’d serve to a 5 year old. I also had the crab cake, 1 crab cake to be critical. The description sounds like you are getting this flavorful salad, and you get one 2 inch crab cake sprinkled with corn, and that’s about it. Definitely not satisfying. The waiter was walking back and forth across the empty restaurant, but never came by our table, except for when I flagged him down for a refill. We were the only table, not sure what he was so busy with. Food, meh. Drinks meh. Service, blah. Go somewhere else, unless you are short on time at the Westin.

Going to a restaurant in a hotel you expect to have a mark up on what you are getting. My friend and really wanted breakfast and staying in that area there is not much within walking distance so we broke down and got the buffet. It sounded like it would be good. It came with eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, cheese blitz, assorted breads, pastries, oatmeal, and fruit; all for the very«reasonable» price of $ 23. I found the only really good thing were the home fries and the rest of the things were ½ way decent. The biggest disappointment were the eggs. They didn’t have the taste or consistency of fresh cooked or even liquid eggs. On the plus side it comes with unlimited coffee and orange juice so try your best to drink $ 20 worth of OJ. If you absolutely need to eat breakfast I would try the Starbucks in the lobby or adventure into the city, it isn’t worth the money.

I went here for lunch during the convention I attended. It was convenient to the convention center and I didn’t feel like payint $ 10 for a slice of pizza at the convention. Thank Jeebus for corporate cards b/c I honestly was underwhelmed with the food I received. I ordered the pulled pork sliders and it was just«eh». The fries were«eh» as well. Thank you work for paying!
