Scottrade

Oh my gosh, the most amazing service you can imagine.
I am a self professed penny pincher, but after trying those free /​low cost on-​line trading houses, I am still with Scottrade.
SoGo is downright scary (too bad they’re not on Unilocal or else I’d post my nightmare) and Zecco is not very user friendly.
I’ve been with Scottrade for half a decade and it looks like I’m going to be with them for another decade. The trading platform is easy to use, and the executed purchase prices are nearly alway lower than other trading houses (I’ve done a non-​scientific study by placing similar limit trades on multiple platforms — I did this on multiple days, on multiple stocks in multiple sectors). Scottrade beats everyone — pennies adds up if you are purchasing 1000’s of shares.
Love it.

Amazing. Have had an account with them for almost a year now and wouldn’t move to anybody else. You don’t get a lot of free trades to start with but trades are only $ 7. The information they have online is great and the live streaming quotes software runs beautifully. Forget ameritrade, I recommend you go here. They also have an office in Newton Center.
