Came here for a nice ice tea… got the«Black Sweet Tea» for $ 2.50 it wasn’t bad. For another $.40 I could get flavors added in peach, pomergranate, or something else. I’m better off with Dunkins though.

if you like milkshake/frappé-y tasting coffee beverages, this is an excellent place to go. it’s great for standard coffee drinkers, too, who don’t necessarily order the fluffy concoctions. i like going to seattle’s best(conveniently located in borders, knocking out two addictions at once) for a «treat.» like, i could totally put down 5 of those cold-shaken marble mocha white chocolate orange caramel toffee vanilla diamond ruby somethingorother bad larries a week, but i don’t feel like being a large marge. with prices comparable to everyone else in the area, this is a great place to get a great beverage. for awhile there was a slightly scary person working there. like, an intimidating person. like, a too-intimidating-for-7:45 a.m. person. that hasn’t been the case lately and i go in at least once a week. the staff is mainly super nice but i also avoided going in there for a little bit because i felt intimidated. things are good now, though. that’s a big thing for me and coffee shops; the intimidation factor of the baristas can drastically alter my opinion. i’m not one of those bumbling idiots that doesn’t know how to order or anything, but i don’t like being made to feel like i am. anyway, that’s not the case here or anything, but i just figured i’d bring it up. are you there, god? it’s me, rach.

I find it interesting that a quick-stop coffee joint owned by Starbucks can make a latte markedly better than you get by one the green-aproned baristas. I don’t know why, I didn’t expect it, but if I’m walking down Washington and want a fast caffeine drink, Seattle’s Best in Border’s is my best bet. I’ve probably had 30 — 40 lattes here and all but 2 were above average. RIght temperature to drink immediately and plenty of thick foam to last all the way to the end.
