Tried redeeming a Birthday Reward and the barista told me they don’t redeem rewards… I will have to contact Starbucks and find out. Not too courteous either.

The Barista is very rude and don’t take Starbucks reward. The barista said he can take app instead. Worst experience at a Starbucks ever. Thumbs down.

Your average Starbucks, BUT they don’t accept star rewards. Also, if you go around the corner to the Sbux near Westin, the drinks are about 10c less across the board. Not a huge difference but it adds up when you work close by and go every day. I will say they do a great job keeping things moving during the morning rush.

Not bad. I’m used to waiting on lines in NY so this is no different. It’s very convenient for people on business. I stayed at the Marriott and didn’t have to leave the hotel in the morning to grab my coffee early and continue getting dressed. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Terrible service. The people here don’t smile at all and are extremely rude. They simply had to heat my panini but they kept me waiting forever. There were no other customers there and all four of them were jolly talking, until one of them saw me waiting. After that, the panini they gave me was not even properly placed inside the paper pack. That led to all the ingredients slipping out of the bread.

Ever walked out of an establishment without paying? I have– from this location. Simplest item on the menu: venti hot caramel apple cider, no whip(clearly marked on cup). 1. Fill cup with apple juice(not cider), steam 40 seconds 2. Add caramel sauce, dash cinnamon 3. PROFIT!!!(min: $ 4) Easy, right? Nope. Had to add the whip. While I was restating to the barista *no whip*. Served up, two inches of whipped cream on top of the cup. Restated the fact of what was on the cup already, and what I repeated to her. Twice. In goes a ladle to remove the whip cream. Now, let’s completely forget about the part where I instructed two people to not add whip cream: let’s say that a customer is lactose intolerant(remembering we now have to have signs telling us ALERTSERVERTOALLERGIESPRIORTOORDERING, rather than simply telling them what we want and how) — they can’t drink it, whether you removed the whip or not. In the 30 seconds it takes for the spray, the offer, the dual-exchange«here you go”/“this has whip, take it back», lactose has dissolved into the medium and rendered it volatile to the individual’s system. Me, I’m not lactose intolerant– I do however have asthma, and specifically limit my calcium consumption accordingly; and at some points none at all through food. Asked for it to be remade. Was refused. Asked how such a presentation of carelessness would look to them as a customer, received no response. You know what also works like a ladle? A hand going into a tip jar to remove the exact amount of money paid for a purchase delivered wrong, and with no recompense. The drink was left on the counter, in front of the gawking barista and cashier– let’s hope they didn’t try to pawn it off on someone else, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

Super friendly, quick service. It can be a little bogged down at 8:30, but that’s only because it is inside a conference hotel on a major artery in the 321 Connect system. Update for other reviews: they DO take the Starbucks app and they’ve never given me a hard time for complicated orders. I’m a big fan.

Hotel Starbucks tend to be pseudo-Starbuckses, and this one is no exception. It has all the makings of a regular store: the coffee, the signs, the pastries, the happy baristas. Happy … until you ask for anything fancier than a mocha. The last time I stopped here, they got confused with my flavored latte. They forgot to use nonfat milk, and they didn’t add Splenda. Oh, and they didn’t take my Starbucks app. WOMP. At least they got my fiancé’s drink right? This sounds like the most«first world problem» review ever, buuuut, well, I have high expectations for Starbucks. It’s great in a caffeine emergency, but if you’re looking for anything«specialty» or specifically Starbucks-esque, you’re better off going outside & walking to a regular shop.

I love this place. It’s 2 min. Away from the orange line and back bay station. baristas are friendly and fast. Expect a long line between 8am and 830am but a morning rush is standard for any coffee shop!

Typical Starbucks… this one located inside the Marriott Copley Place in Back Bay that caters to professionals working nearby or attending conferences. Long lines, but it moves fairly quickly. And they do have hot foods — breakfast wraps, sandwiches, etc. Kinda sterile though. Nothing standout about the service.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks, right? So why bother reviewing? This one isn’t a real Starbucks, however, and it shows. It’s affiliated with the Marriott and while that hotel chain is fine, this«Starbucks» is not. Poor service, got my order wrong. They don’t accept Starbucks rewards. Ample seating but all the table surfaces are dirty — haven’t been wiped since I don’t know when. Avoid.

A Starbucks that is technically not a Starbucks, but a Marriot owned Starbucks, which is different. They can’t reload gift/gold cards and they don’t have the iphone scanners that let you pay with the Starbucks app. But they do accept Starbucks giftcards. Usually pretty quick and make the drinks well. Rating would automatically go up to four stars if they had the iphone scanner and could reload cards there.

Long lines just like any other Starbucks nestled in a major shopping area, what else is new? The staff here are nice and took care of my drink right away upon ordering. No complaints.

This is the worst Starbucks in the city. I’ve started going here only when my other place has really bad line. But I’ve seen them pour my entire drink into a steamer and re-steam the whole drink before pouring it back into the cup and handing it to me. I’ve gotten a café mocha with no mocha in it. I’ve gotten a blueberry muffin instead of a blueberry scone… and this is in less than a 6 month period and I don’t even go there that often. So if you must stop at this place check your order before you walk away.

This is the only Starbucks that will charge you 50 cents for a cup of tap water. Seriously, any other Starbucks will gladly give you a big glass of icy water with a slice of lemon in it. They’re also really rude, and mess up my orders all the time.

Don’t know if it’s only me, but the taste of the espresso is getting worse… It was bad before, but it tastes awfully gross. Extra burnt and bad aftertaste~~

They are good at handling my complicated orders for ten people. Everyone who works there is pretty nice. They have actual lemons for the iced tea and not just lemonade. There is a big difference.

I didn’t see any cupcakes on display so I thought I’d ask anyway. Me: Do you sell cupcakes? Barista: Oh. Um. Not anymore… it’s a seasonal thing. Me: Okay, thanks… Barista: Muffins taste better! Would you like that? Me: No, thank you. Seasonal thing!?! Did he mean limited edition? I understand if pumpkin flavor is seasonal… but seriously, that made no sense to me. And«muffins taste better»!? Oh no, he didn’t! *snap snap* Muffins are in a whole ‘nother category! Fellow cupcake fans would understand me. Btw, I crossed the bridge to the Starbucks at the Pru and found some lovely cupcakes waiting there for me. Thanks for giving wrong information to your customers, Starbucks Copley.
