Do not come for coffee here, the Starbucks at South Station. They charge not 10% more, but probably 50% more than regular Starbucks. I got a grande americano and it was 4 bucks, when I think typically they’re less than 2.5? I think they just charged me a random amount, and the coffee was BURNED. How do you burn an americano? The people who made and pushed out my drink were pretty rude, I had to basically reach out to their espresso machine to fetch my drink. They didn’t care, and I’m sure it won’t go out of business either cuz it’s Starbucks.

Thank you to Unilocal reviews. I wouldn’t have noticed how much more expensive this starbucks is until too late. And starbucks is expensive already without the station mark up. I went across the way and got a large latte for $ 2.50 at abp. Half the price of a small at this starbucks. There is another starbucks on Atlantic Ave outside but it wasn’t open on a Sunday morning.

I know I’m not the only one who noticed the prices are a little skewed in a way that’s ridiculously more expensive than other locations. oh okay cool.

Worst location ever! Service is poor, and not very friendly and slow, slow and slow. I am asking for a coffee… Not brain surgery. There is just about one on every block… convenient as this may be for me… I avoid this one.

Apparently because this is a «licensed store,» they are able to charge higher prices than corporate. I paid $ 5.26 for a tall white mocha instead of the usual $ 3.91. Such a rip off!

I went here at 840 pm tonight and received the worst service ever. It was so bad I thought I was on camera on punk’d. I approached the counter and order a venti Mocha Cookie Crumble and the guy tells me they don’t have the ingredients for that and I say okay and tried ordering a double chocolates chip and he says they don’t have that either. Now I’m frustrated and ask what do you have then. I can do a vanilla frappuccino and now I’m pissed. They have almost 15 different frappuccinos and they can only do vanilla. I walk away and he screams at me repeatedly hello hello hello! I continue to walk and board my train empty handed. I am very disappointed and will be calling corporate in the morning to complain because this is ridiculous. They charge you so much money and this is the service I get and I am a gold member and have spent hundreds here and they treat customers like dirt.

As a non-Starbucks snob(i.e. someone who does not cringe or gawk at a coffee establishment that isn’t Starbucks), I like this place. The workers are very professional and courteous, they make some excellent drinks(unlike some other Starbucks nearby), and, best of all, they do it with urgency. Because, let’s face it, you’re spending money at a Starbucks in South Station because you haven’t the time or energy to go to some nicer café just a few blocks over. As for recommendations, their new Caramel Flan latte with an extra shot or two of vanilla is a sweet, mild start to your day. No sugar or sweetener required.

Hey, there’s a brand new Starbucks inside South Station. You no longer need to trudge across the street(or underground when the weather’s bad) and wait in line at the Starbucks at 1 Financial Center. Now you can conveniently get your Starbucks coffee right inside South Station. There’s just one problem… It’s safe to assume that the majority of people buying food at South Station are on there way someplace. Sure, there are people with time to kill, but most of us are on our way to catch a train or get to work; we need to grab & go. Unfortunately, this Starbucks is painfully slow. It would take less time to walk across the street to 1 Financial Center, buy coffee there, and come back to South Station. If you’re buying any kind of espresso drink that needs to be prepared expect to wait a good 10 minutes. If you’re just grabbing a cup of coffee that takes far too long too because they get backed up with other orders. I know they just opened, and they’re still trying to get it together, but so far it’s off to a rough start. This location also doesn’t have the fancy new pastries that Starbucks started selling. If you’re into those, you’ll definitely want to head across the street. Hopefully, these guys will speed up their service. A location based in a train station(or bus station, or airport) will live & die by how efficiently they can fill customer orders.
