People love to hate on Subway, and while I usually prefer to support the little guy(cause’he’s sucha cutelil’ guy!) this is not a great reason to hate on the chains our forefathers have built. ONTOTHETOPPINGS! It is difficult to mess up the first stop at Subway. Just don’t order a flatizza. They’re gross and do not travel well. Trust me, I’ve tried. After your sammy emerges from the flash bake(easy bake) oven, you gotta dress that thing up in as MANY toppings as you possibly can. This is tricky, since your paws are the wrong side of the glass, Magneto. Start slow, say your toppings one at a time. Smile. Wider. Good. Next topping… you’ve got it! Before you know it, your sandwich is bursting with fresh veggies and succulent sauces. I have not had a bad sammy from this location. Ever. Due to location, this franchise is competing against some power lunch hitters. Do not underestimate their ability to rise to the occasion.

I go there quite often and happy with the food and service. You can’t beat $ 5 price for foot long sandwich! BLT is the best :)

A subway is a subway is a subway… this one deserves 5 stars though because the workers are so fast and efficient. Even during the lunch hour rush, you’ll be in and out in 5 minutes.

One of the worst subways ever! Unfriendly Staff, Only had one bread choice. Stale wheat, wouldn’t exactly call there sits sandwich artists the sandwich I got was light on everything and stale bread. There is no seating I had to go across the street to get a table. Also helps to be bilingual to communicate with staff

I only go here from time to time because I work across the street and it is cheap. I agree with the other reviewers — it would be nice to step inside the store first so I don’t have to yell my order from the hallway. The management needs to get a clue and do something about the rude workers.

I hate this place. I still go there occasionally, because when you work in the building and there’s 2 feet of snow outside and you can get a veggie sandwich for $ 3… well… Ugh, but I hate going. The food is OK — typical Subway. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, the bread is sometimes a little hard. But the customer service is AWFUL!!! Yup, yelling at you out in the hallway for your order; you’re forced to yell your order back over a line of 4 people in front of you. While the line DOES move very fast, and they do have an assembly line process going, more than once I’ve had my order messed up because they didn’t hear my yelled order correctly or I threw them off their game by NOT getting my cheese melted(how quickly the asembly line breaks down when the bread gets out of order). It’s just a stressful experience — I always have to brace myself before going there. And as K. Brooke Z. mentioned, yup, been hit on and leered at by one of the employees there as well. Not cool. If you must have Subway, go to another location. Or Croissant du Jour. Or Souper Salad. Or eat your hand instead. Oh, and they do now accept credit cards.

Efficient? yes. Delicious? no. Polite? H*** no! The staff there are cold and exceedingly inappropriate. One employee would regularly hit on me and wink and once did kissy lips. Really? The low level of quality and poor service has pushed me to the MUCH more delicious Croissants du Jour just down the hall.

I love Subway — it’s fresh, it’s cheap, and it’s reliable. Except for this location. I stopped by here craving their turkey ham sandwhich but left with nothing due to the poor practices I witnessed. An employee was wiping down the black plastic containers that hold the lettuce, tomatoes, olives, etc. He was wearing gloves, removing each container from the fridge/display, wiping the grungy mess off the side of the containers, and using the *same hand that was wiping the grossness off the container* to rearrange/pat down the veggies in the container. I have never lost my appetite so fast. Can you say cross-contamination? It was seriously so unappealing and off-putting that I haven’t been back to a Subway since. I will certainly not be going back to this one.

Love Jeremy F’s review and he says it best: this place definately has the sandwich operation down to a science. Like most places in Copley during the lunch hour, the line is long and out the door. But don’t let this bother you because it moves super fast. If one of the sandwichmakers is screaming«sir» or «Miss, Miss» repeatedly and you are 4 steps outside the threshold, look up and respond because they are probably trying to take your order already. The bread is sometimes too dry, so I docked a star. If you are easily flustered, then make sure you know what you will order and you’ll fall into the groove just fine.

I dont give a damn, I love this Subway. For $ 4.20 i can get a 6″ turkey sub with loads of mildly sketchy vegetables, plus I get to be hot like Jarred when I’m done eating. Could one man ask for anything more??? These guys have the sandwich express lane down to a science. There is one dude who takes your bread/meat order, another for cheese and toasting, a third for innards, the fourth guy is for wrapping paper and then the last man of the hour rings you up. Its like watching the pit crew for dale earnhardt jr. Speed is the name of the game kiddies and these bastards come in first place while being able to offer me my baked lays Doritos… AMAZED!

Super Tuesday is dead. :( Every Tuesday you could choose from a list of foot-long samichez for $ 3.99. Today, I paid $ 6.30 for a gross turkey sandwich. It wasn’t even covered by the«$ 5 Footlong» clause! Sure, the sandwich was no grosser than it used to be, but when it was $ 3.99, it seemed a little less gross. Now there is no point in standing in this long line. SHAW’S in Copley makes better sandwiches! Also, Jared’s been putting the pounds back on. I’m getting worried. :(

The sandwiches are always fine here(I work in the building, so I come here at least once every couple of weeks) — exactly what you’d expect from Subway. But I only gave it three stars for the mere fact that they STILL do not accept credit cards. Welcome to 2008 Subway, get a CC machine!

Braving the nasty Nor’easter this afternoon with heavy wind and snow; I ventured out to mail a postcard and to stop by this Subway located in the same building as the post office(ie: Park Plaza) getting here was somewhat of an adventure… but I was pleasantly satisfied with the quality of my meatball sub. Having firmly turned my back on Quizno’s forever, I found solace and gratitude in the arms of Subway. I had the foot-long($ 5.24) with plenty of fresh, crisp vegetables in addition to dousing the whole thing in sauces and dressings(the sweet onion sauce is the best!) I think there were about a dozen meatballs in there(ok, perhaps that’s somewhat of a hyperbole) but the sub weighed about 2 pounds; seriously. I have half of the sandwich left, which will be for tomorrow. Subway also gives you the false impression that you’re actually eating healthy and doing something good for your body; and deception has never been more delicious.
