The bouncers seem to be educationally equivalent to bong water, I’m not sure what kind of training they go through that allows them to detect a person’s age through eyesight but their judgement overrides not only factual evidence on a driver’s license but also a U. S Passport. They are also free to steal your possessions upon eye contact. Truly these men are the heroes of the great city of Boston, thanks for literally giving me cancer.

Whiskey Saigon is a great option if you really want to party and dance. There are multiple areas in the club to hang out. There are more casual places near the main bars, or the dance floor and the VIP areas that look out over the dance floor. The bar in the front(main entrance area) has a more casual vibe although still upholding the business casual/clubby vibe. The back bar(closer to the dance floor) is usually pretty crowded but people who aren’t into dancing usually hang around here and the perimeter of it. The dance floor is always packed. Warning: be prepared for people to spill their drinks on you. The DJ is always really great at this location, but you will have to pay a hefty cover usually($ 20 or higher). I think this is a great place for friends, or a 21st birthday party for example. And I’ve heard their VIP sections are one of the more affordable ones in Boston if you split it between people.

Ive been here a couple of times and its usually sufficiently crowded to have a good time and dance. Music is definitely good and the dance floor’s great. However, cant get past the fact that they insist on charging $ 5 for water, bottled Fiji water at that. Cant get anything else, no tap water, nothing. I guess I can go to the bathroom and scoop water into my mouth from the bathroom faucet, but really? Not what a «high end, exclusive» establishment is all about. Probably explains why I saw a grown man throw up all over the place on Halloween.

Too cheap to give out water? Bar only sells fiji water for $ 5… Really? You value a few extra bucks over making sure people arent passing out from dehydration? Pretty sure thats illegal. Really a shame because this is a great place otherwise, but when youre dancing and having a good time, ya need water. Cheap and unconcerned about anyones wellbeing.

I’m new to Boston and I invited my sister to come for the weekend. We went to whisky Saigon and initially had a wonderful time, but then at the dance floor I had put my empty drink on a table that later I realized was a special table. Somebody from this table complained to the staff and the staff physically forced my sister and I out of the club. Since I needed my wool coat, there were three security guards guarding me, preventing me from moving and threatening me with forceful statements. My sister and I are scientists and completely non-threatening, however, the staff felt compelled to be forceful with us and kick us out. My sister and I had no push back and we both ended up leaving(given the threatening statements), but it was a very troubling incident and one I wouldn’t wish upon anybody. Should you want to go to Whisky Saigon, be prepared to be forcefully pushed around or exited the club. I’ll never go here again given this horrible experience with my family.

super fun club! :-)) awesome décor, interesting layout, multiple bars so you’re hardly ever really waiting that long to get a drink. clubs aren’t really a big thing in boston… so there aren’t many options but this one is my favorite aside from Royale. Only down side they don’t give you free water when you buy drinks?! You have to pay $ 5 for a small Fiji water– which is obnoxious, when I order a drink I want to get water. For a place this expensive c’mon…

I came for Halloween and it was a fun time. The music was pretty good and they played a nice variety of genres. The crowd was good as well, wasn’t too rowdy or completely hammered from what I could tell. I’m giving it 3 stars because the drink prices are ridiculous. All cocktails are $ 13, which I guess is average at most places, but there’s no variation in prices at all. Also, my friend wanted to buy a water bottle and it was $ 5. Seriously… no free water? Drinks and ticket are expensive enough that no free water is a major turn off. We did get free popcorn, though. Free food is always a plus. I do think the VIP sections are pretty obnoxious, to be honest. This is a regular club in Boston, not a fancy place in NYC or something. After hours of dancing and my feet killing from my heels, it’s nice to be able to sit down. We sat down on some random chairs for 30 seconds and were kicked off by a hostess who said they’re for VIPS only. Really?

Bring the proverbial fam and have a good time here. DJs play uptodate EDM and the music gets even better around 1130. Expect trap/dance/deep house. One caveat — Royale, generally invites the more prominent DJs, if that’s your thing. The club is somewhat reminiscent of your typical LV venue, or at least the closest BOS will give you on this side of the east coast. Clientele is what you’d expect: mid-20s, young professionals, college kids; overall good crowd — never had any trouble here.

Horrible experience. Would not come back. Would not recommend at all. The place was too small for the amount of people that were there. No room to stand or dance. The drinks are too expensive compared with other venues. WORST part are the BOUNCERS at the door. The bouncers must think they own the place or its the only club in the city. Stuck up. Disrespectful. Very unprofessional. Border-line discriminative towards anyone they want by just looking at them. I recommend that you take your business somewhere else where the drinks are decent, the hostess, manager, doorman treat you like a customer, not a beggar. Message to management: screen your staff before you hire. Train those people(who are the face of your venue) to be professional. Follow up, if not, micromanage those people whom you have spent time and money on to live up to the standard that you pay them at. Project a culture that shows your customers are your livelihood, not the other way around.

Honestly this is one of the better clubs in Boston and I’d much rather go here than Bijou or some of the bars like Tavern In The Square or White Horse. It’s a pretty classy place and the tables are a lot cheaper than tables at Icon from what I remember. Service was pretty decent and the music was good as well. I was kind of annoyed that depsite the fact that we had paid for a table we still had to pay cover, but I had a great time once we got inside and it was like $ 10 or $ 20 bucks so not really that big of a deal. The crowd is definitly more mixed and relaxed than at some other clubs which is another bonus. They should really bring in some more big name DJs because this place has so much potential.

Very cool set up! The nightclub is decorated beautifully. The music is very good, or at least it was the one time I went. A good mix crow of people goes here. The music they play is top 40, mash-up so they tend to please everyone. Good spot for sure

A totally bumpin’ club that seems to be thriving, Whisky Saigon is a hip place to be. As long as you know the type of «Bros» that inhabit this place, nothing surprises you and you’ll enjoy this place if you like the club nightlife. Many people will hate on this place due to the prices. But, it’s a club. What do you expect? Hit a dive bar if you want $ 2 beers. You pay for the entire experience here. Plus, if you go to a club you generally shouldn’t worry about the purse strings. The music is top notch and trends toward EDM. I loved the beats. Everything was played, from original music to current hits, to remixes and everything in between. There was something for everyone. The dance floor was packed but fun! Did I mention there are bubbles? Who doesn’t like bubbles? I’m not a real huge fan of clubs, but I would come back here. On the wrong night, you meet d-bag Bros and non-sympathetic employees. On the good nights, it’s a blast to get lost in a sea of people, music, and bubbles!

1st of all, please note that the clubbing scene in Boston is much less prevalent compared to the West Coast, so don’t hold it to the same standards. However, it is a good place to relax and unwind. Free before 11 and fee after is ~$ 10. The place is largely divided into 2 sections, with a lounge in the front with tables(1st come 1st serve) and a dance floor in the back. I like this because if you’re tired of dancing then you can just walk to the lounge where the music isn’t blasting into your ears and just chill. The music is mostly EDM from what I remember, and the crowd here is much better than other places. As for complaints, I’ve had mixed encounters with bouncers where they’re either very nice or disrespectful. As for drinks, it’s also a hit or miss where sometimes the drinks are so watered down I wonder if there’s even alcohol in it. So if you like your drink, remember who made it and go back to him/her

DRINKS: I LOVED the kamikaze drinks here! Very delicious and really nice bartenders here. VENUE: The club has a diverse crowd-and everyone is pretty friendly. What I didn’t care for was the bouncers. Very rude and they won’t let you wait in the entry way even if you are waiting for your friends. Overall, the place is nice and fun I just wish the bouncers would be a little nicer. What I love about the place is the free coat check! So nice! Of course, tip them nicely though! :) WOULD I RECOMMENDIT? Yes, I’d go again!

Not sure why I like this place so much. Probably because I feel starved for any kind of club nightlife in Boston so I’ve had to lower my standards but anyway Whisky Saigon is a decent place to be on a Sat night. If you like EDM, you will definitely like the music(I’m not sure if I just happen to be there on EDM night but every time I go there’s lots of it playing as well as EDM remixes to pop and/or hip-hop songs etc. It’s pretty big on the inside and there’s two sections — one that’s more lounge-y with some booths and such and then the other section that is full club with dance floor and some«VIP» sections that don’t make the people sitting in them look at all important. Good thing about the big size is that it doesn’t feel claustrophobic and if you need a break from the dance floor you can go to the other side and chill with some lower volume music. Here’s the thing: if you’re looking for music other than EDM, any kind of diversity, or a low-key place, this is not it. But if you want to dance to some good music with a group of friends and some drinks without overthinking things(including the long line you will probably encounter) you’ll probably have a good time here. I think if you get there before 10 or 11 it’s also free entry so think about doing that(but who goes out before 11?).

Whisky Saigon… which is also the former Gypsy Bar is a pretty poppin spot. It’s newly renovated. There’s a big bar with booths and barstools in the front, and a lounge area and a big dance floor in the back. Free coat check in the back. Never difficult to get a drink as there are many bars. This place has brought in a few big names in the EDM scene recently: Chainsmokers, Bassjackers, Cosmic Gate, Chromeo, Destructo. This place is strictly EDM/Top 40.

Ok, so if you’ve been to Vegas, Miami, NYC, or any other pretentious cities with amazing nightlife, this place will probably seem like a joke. However, for a Boston club, it’s pretty sweet. The music on a Saturday night had us dancing for hours and the drinks aren’t ridiculously priced. I think it was around 10 – 12 $ for top shelf. I also like the intimate dance space, and the special DJs they get. There is a front section that is quieter if you just want to sit, drink, and chill. P. S. free coat check and nice bouncers.

Everytime my friends and I go out we always end up here. It’s the best combination of nice venue, good music, and popping dance floor that you’ll get in Boston. There’s always a cover but if you get there before 11 it’s waived. Once you enter there are several booths across from the bar, and if you continue towards the back you’ll reach the library room with more bars and the dance floor. The interior is really nice and definitely upholds their claim of being one of the more luxurious night clubs. They have various DJs that play each night, but the music is always pretty good. The dance floor has bubbles and fog blowers which are always fun. One time we tried to drop by 40 mins before closing time, and the bouncer wouldn’t drop the cover — lame. Not about to pay $ 15 for half an hour of dancing.

Personally, my favorite new night spot. Fairly simple as to why: –Gorgeous women. Duh. And it’s very diverse, compared to some of the other clubs in Boston. –Great set-up — entrance has a lounge area where you can sit at the bar or at some lounge tables if available, and towards the back you’ll find a very classy dance floor with lots of glass walls. They also have one of the best tables set-up with an elevated platform and plenty of space, or you can get glass walls on the other side of the dance floor which is pretty chic. –Free coat check. Amazing, they don’t try to milk your money to the last drop. Hats off to you for that one. –Reasonable price — about $ 15 for cover, and drinks run around $ 10 which is standard for a night club. PROTIP: They run tons of free entry nights if you purchase them in advance, just check their facebook page! –Fantastic music. Mix of Top 20, EDM and house, the DJs have always been great!
