The place was pretty clean and the service was good but the quality of the food wasnt great. The pav bhajis were average, i have definitely had better at the other chaat places in the seattle-bellevue area. The pav bhaaji came with burger buns which i found very weird. The veg machurian was disappointing, it lacked any flavour and the veg balls were nothing but aloo tikkis. The chole batura was huge but again lacked taste. My friend tried it and said the chole that came along with the batura had too much turmeric. Overall, i think the place is average but there are much better places if you are ready to drive for an extra 20 mins

I totally dislike this place. First of all the food is pricy and also very spicy. I asked them to be mild on spice and always I get the response that they can’t change the spice as it’s pre made and they say that their food is mild. Couple of times I ordered the food and each time I got the same response and food turned out to be spicy giving me heartburn. Second thing is they don’t update their menu online and when I tried to order it, they don’t have it or serve that. I will never go there unless they improve. Apna Bazar is much better than this and fair priced.

Everything tastes great, both ladies that helped me were very friendly and took a lot of time with me to explain the menu as it was my first time. It wouldn’t hurt to have more pictures of the food:) keep smiling Aman!

Food is very expensive and the quality doesnot match the price. I ordered samosa masala. I saw the cook combine samosa and channa to make it samosa masala. I have had few dishes here, they are below avg.

Tried Misal Pav, Samosa chaat, paneer pakora. Tasted pretty good and prices for the those three items, at least, were worth, in my opinion.

Service is hit or miss. Evenings seem really quiet. The portions are really small for a thali meal that is 8 $. With the added restrictions of having to choose diff curries and only one paneer choice. Parathas sometimes are really oily. Many items seem reheated. Quality is poor for the price. Online ordering does not work, you get the confirmation email but they dont get the order. No discount provided for online orders. Dont waste your time. Just get there and order if you must. Pros and the only reason for one star: Parking is easy Clean, spacious seating Open all the time On my way home as the redmond chaat options are too far If you must visit: Parantha is worth trying but pricey Skip the thali meals and entrees– only order chaat. They are better prices and seem to do better on consistency. Curry is way overpriced and quality is hit or miss Masala chai is luke warm, thermos issues?! Options — if you want good chaat, go to redmond If you want better prices for quality, go to apna bazaar down the road

I thought it pretty decent. There is definitely an odd range in prices, but this is something I’ve noticed with not a few chaat places. For some reason, things labeled as chaat are cheap with good portions, while the«entrees» are twice as much for something less. Don’t really get that. Anyway, the food we ordered was good. A chaat, naan, and an entrée. Definitely, don’t go for the entrees. They are overpriced.

Meh! It’s open at odd hours and staff are friendly. The place is clean. Food arrived quickly and the bathrooms are clean. But the food isn’t really all that. Quantities are smaller than you come to expect in America, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but when the taste is also lacking, makes you really question the prices. I recommend this only for a quick bite. This is like the Subway of Indian food

When I heard that a chaat place is coming to Bothell… I was so excited. No more travelling to Bellevue/Redmond I thought. Boy I was wrong. Terrible food. I ve been here twice only because I wanted to give them a second chance since they were fairly a new place. In both our visits… we ordered Pav Bhaji, Papdi chaat and thali. Pav bhaaji was terrible. The pav was hard as rock and no butter. Bhaaji was not at all spiced up. Paapdi chaat was soggy. Thali was just ok… edible. Never going back again.

Gross. Shouldn’t listened to the rest of the Unilocalers that reviewed the place. I eat Indian food often and this was not Indian food. This was garbage in my mouth.

Food is horrible. We live close by so end up going here on hope they will improve but none so far. Only edible thing is kathi roll and that too if you are lucky. We ordered pani poori the other day but the water tasted like xxxxxx. So if you want to get sick and stay home be their guest. Even the service is pathetic, especially given that they are new and almost always empty. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to venture here. I dare say Apna Bazaar near by is many times better, though even that is mediocre to be called as Indian food. Your better bet is go somewhere in Redmond.

This may be the nicest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to, but the worst Indian restaurant. Pros: –There is plenty of parking and seating –Friendly cashier/server –It is very clean –Quiet… Too quiet Cons: –The food prices range from $ 4.95−7.95 for an 8oz portion! Ridiculously small –The garlic naan(which was $ 2.95) was the size of a medium pizza crust… yet tasteless. –Mango lassi($ 4.95) is premade, also about 6oz –Nothing special about the food. Standard Chana Masala, Palak Paneer, Saag, et cetera that anyone with a Madhur Jaffrey cookbook could make at home, with rudimentary cooking skills and a frozen bag of peas. –Options are not what’s on the menu, it’s what is available in the buffet(which only he server has access to)

Pathetic food. Preparation, quantity was not at all satisfying. Price was not too low to compensate this.

Got a gift voucher for $ 25 from a friend which required a minimum order of $ 50. We placed an order for 6 – 7 dishes including samosa, chole batura and rasmalai. the cashier(I believe belongs to the family running this restaurant) was very cunning and started making comments behind our back about the voucher. i ignored her. The chole batura plate has 2 puris but we were served only 1, the samosas were swimming in oil and the rasmalai were frozen and stone hard and were served without a single drop of syrup. When asked about why the quantity of food is less than shown in the menu, she replied that because $ 50 gets you a lot of food, we have reduced the quantity, I hope you guys understand. I have never seen such hopeless behavior and irresponsible /unfriendly answers. The surprising thing is she said all this with a very pretty deceiving smile. This is a fraud business. I don’t understand what was her pain in serving us the right quantity and good quality of food irrespective of whether we pay cash or partially pay cash and use a gift voucher. I have another coupon and I’m gonna exchange it for another restaurant who treats their customers well. Their vehavior breaks consumer rights and I am lodging a complaint against chowpatty chaat bothell with the consumer law. WILLNEVERGOBACKHERE… BTW all the items were at the max 5⁄10 rating.

I have eaten at my fair share of Indian places. Many of them being vegetarian. The only thing I could really say was that they cook their rice well. The food was barely warm. A small portion was way over priced and the food was not even spicy. Honestly felt like I was going to eat in an Indian IKEA. Would not go back.

Just got back from the eating here. Apna Bazaar chats has nothing to worry about. We got papdi chaat, bhel puri, samosa chaat. All of them were below average and tooo tangy. My wife got parantha thali. That was the saving grace. Paneer gravy was good. Salt lassi was also decent. Don’t think I will ever go back there for chaats!

Average chaat. The food we ordered was not that great. I ordered aloo tikki chaat and salt lassi. My lassi was half the usual size and too sour. My chaat was a little sweet and felt like there was only mint and tamarind chutney in addition to the channa masala. My friends had similar opinions about their food. Pav bhaji, the bhaji had only cauliflower. The pav and naan were good but the curry was not that good.

Yet another place that goes to prove that it’s easier to open a restaurant than making sure customers keep coking back. I have ordered a few times using their online ordering system. The food was ok but the workers/owners are clueless. I would have put up with it if the food made me come back. For now, I’ll still drive to Bellevue if I need decent Indian food.

We are so happy to have a chaat place open in Bothell! We ordered 2 dishes: pav bhaji and sev puri. The pav bhaji was so hot in both temperature and spice, but the texture and pav were good. My mouth was on fire so was hard to taste anything after eating it. The sev puri was so dry as there was no sauce! Would also be nice to see dahi sev puri on menu. We also ordered a sandwich, but they were out(it was also early – before the evening rush). Hopefully they can update the digital menu board when they’re out of things so menu is accurate. Also was confused as to the layout. Seems to be that you go in and follow the counter, but instead you go to the register and just order. They’re new so I’m sure are figuring out the things to fix to make it better. Will definitely give it another try as we have hope and really want to see great things here!!!
