I wish I had discovered this place as soon as I moved to Washington State.
These guys did such a great job with my little car, despite the fact that I took it in for an oil change during a Seahawk’s Playoff Game… initially there was one other car, but after those people left, I was the only car there… it’s like people were watching the game, or something. In addition, I wasn’t met with any attitude such as, why aren’t you watching the game?
Conveniently located across from Safeway grocery store, and they have a comfy lobby to sit in, with a large TV.
I’ll definitely be back for loyalty points.
Anyway, they took a lot of time with my car, and I was able to watch the entire process, so I know that it was done right. I explained to them, before they even looked at my vehicle for the oil change, that my car was having an engine revving issue, which was supposedly fixed 10 days ago (though not). They explained that they had a service that would help with the issue, Fuel system cleaning, which was $ 69.99 addt to the oil change***I really appreciate how they were able to take the time to show me what was needed and **I saw with my own eyes the valve that was clogged with grime. Then I saw them also do all of the work, so it was like *total transparency* I didn’t feel that they were talking down to me as a «clueless female,» instead I felt like I was actually treated with respect.
Now my car is running better than it has ran in an *entire year.*
I will refer all of my friends here. GO SEAHAWKS!

Full oil service they completed in less than 30min. Awesome. I went early (before10am) got early bird discount too.

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the lobby (compared to a different, popular lube joint).
Timing is really everything regardless of where you go.
This place advertised a military discount which I thought was pretty nice since I don’t ask.

These people were great! I missed an oil change and my oil light was on!!! Called several places who said they were booked up. Grease Monkey said to come right over and three were 2 – 3 people ahead of me but several people working. They took great care of my car, and I’m very pleased. Will definitely be back. They also honored the check-​in coupon from Unilocal even though I almost forgot about it. Very friendly, courteous, and excellent work! It was also very quickly done and I was on my way safely! Highly recommend.

The check engine light came on and I was rightfully concerned. I went directly to the grease monkey on Bothell Everett Highway right across from Safeway. I was greeted by a very enthusiastic «James» who told me they would take a look. He pointed me toward the waiting area where in less than 5 minutes, James returned and explained in detail and in writing what my next steps were. During this time, there was a literal deluge of rain. James brought my car up and parked it directly outside the waiting room door so I would not get wet. I love me my Bothell grease monkeys!

Very pleased with the service, cleanliness, and the juice box our daughter enjoyed!

They are very nice and professional. I even went there one time as my check engine light came on and they were able to tell me the error code as well as what to do about it and cleared out the light for me. I will go there for all my future oil changes. They even vacuum my car for free

I would like to take a second to RAVE about Grease Monkey in Bothell. They were excellent in every area, including: Availability, quick service, being thorough, answering any questions I had and explaining the answers in a way that anyone who knows nothing about cars (like me) might understand. Jon was extremely attentive in letting me know what was happening, James gave me a referral to another full-​service garage that he had been to himself, that could help me with what they couldn’t, and even the price was out-​of-​this-​world cheap for any kind of car repair. 5 stars all the way, thanks you guys! :)

Great service, very informative group of guys. Just bought a used 2005 Denali and had them check it out for me. They said all was good but just recommended a transmission flush and coolant service. They did a great job, I will be back for oil changes.

Called this morning to see if they take appointments — guy was friendly on the phone and said to just come on in that it’s first come first served. I got just a conventional oil change — priced at $ 42. A little more than I’d like to pay for an oil change, but they did also vacuum out the interior and top off all of the fluids. When I was waiting in the office, one of the mechanics came in to show my filter and ask if I’d like to have their recommended fluid flush. I opted to just change the filter and hold off on the flush — I did not feel pressured to drop a bunch of money and he was perfectly friendly when I declined. There were 2 other cars there when I arrived, but I made it in and out easily in 15 minutes — awesome! I found an online coupon for $ 7 off and was happy to use that as well. First time here, but I felt comfortable and pleased with the service — the mechanics in the garage even made a point to say thank you as I was walking back to my car. I would definitely return here — they also advertise for complimentary top off between services and have a decent lobby with tv and complimentary drinks while you wait!

I am a very discerning car guy. Grease Monkey has been very good to me for all of my 8 years residing in Bothell. I have a work van with a thousand grease fittings that need particular attention, regularly. If I ever need anything, I drop in and have them look at my vehicles, and they give me honest, objective advice. It is the best lube place in the area. They do clean, competent work. I highly recommend them!

I typically go to my full service mechanic even for my oil changes but he has been so busy that I have not been able to get an appointment. So to Unilocal I went and was pleased to read so many great service experiences from many different customers. I filled in the Unilocal $ 9 off contact us, asking for an appointment the next morning and Al responded promptly confirming the time with a «We will see you then!» Nice!!!
Pulled up to smiling John, picked the oil, listened to additional services offered but did not feel pressured. Sat in the extra clean waiting room and in 15 minutes-​DONE! James finished by reviewing my transaction at the register and I shared my Unilocal search that brought me to them. I complimented him on their terrific reviews which he so appreciated. James said, we try really hard and he is right… thinking it wise to come back again where my business experience is great and appreciated, plus $ 9 off was nice too!

First time there, called James on the phone before heading over, helpful with questions and once I arrived even better. Pulled right into a bay, went over options, waited in VERY clean waiting room, with free refreshments, wifi, etc for about 15 – 20 minutes. I upgraded my service based on honest recommendations and left an extremely happy customer and will definitely be returning for future oil changes. More establishments should strive to be like Grease Monkey in Bothell. Thanks for team for great service.

As a woman, I have found it extremely difficult to get an oil change without dishonest and manipulative mechanics trying to swindle me into paying for additional unnecessary services. The people at this place are professional, friendly, respectful, and HONEST. Highly recommended :)

Went there for an oil change yesterday, they were busy, but the waiting area was nice, with free coffee, juice and bottled water. And a TV to keep me entertained. I needed to have a new brake light put in, too, but they didn’t have the right bulb in stock. I went and bought it myself, returned a couple of hours later and they popped it right in and didn’t charge me a dime. Service was with a smile, everybody was courteous, polite and friendly, and I will be a repeat customer. I stopped going there a couple of years ago when they were at their old location, when my husband was badly treated by a lady who ran the front desk. She was nowhere in sight this day, however, and we enjoyed a very pleasant experience. Thanks guys!
