Really disappointed! I can’t believe this place has all these great reviews. Small margarita was good. Carne asada fajitas awful. No flavor and full of fat. We will stick with Julios!

The place is awesome. I’ve been here for lunch often and tried dinner for the first time the other night. i recommend tacos dorados for lunch. Carne asada is really good. A very relaxing environment for lunch but dinner was much more crowded. Overall good food and service.

I generally like the food here. The wait can sometimes be long. It’s frustrating because no one greets you when you walk in. And if someone does greet you, it’s a very young boy that works there. He is great at bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and grabbing things for the table-however, he is NOT good at being a host. He doesn’t have a clue about how long it takes to turn tables. He always quotes us «20 minutes» and is usually more than an hour off. I don’t mind waiting for great Mexican food, but at least give me a more accurate timeframe of how long I will have to wait. What to try: seafood molcajete is the bomb. What could be improved: chips and salsa

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Bothell area. The building doesn’t look like much, but the interior is more upscale than it suggests and not overly tacky. The food is amazing! Great quality and portions. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t love! Be prepared for the wait if you come during peak hours. It’s a popular restaurant and well worth the wait.

Fast, friendly, and great food. Reasonable price for the amount of food you get. Go hungry my friends.

My #1 reason to go: Spicy cabbage pico de gallo that comes with the chips. I feel like i’m eating something semi-healthy along w/my fried corn chips. #2: The tortilla soup. They usually put a generous amount of chicken into it. Have them hold the chips and it’s really good stuff for a gluten-free gal like me. #3: Simple and delicious carne asada. They have the normal standby food, their mole is spicy or sweet. All around, they’re the best mexican place in Bothell(of which there are really only 3). Bothell isn’t exactly a hotbed of cultural cuisine. Bartenders are fast & super friendly, Papa is awesome. These guys work their butts off. Drinks have been strong. We’re always able to squeeze into the bar even on the busiest of nights. Lots of sports or whatever in case your main squeeze isn’t in the mood to be squeezed. EAT it ALL.

Cheap, delicious Mexican food less then 5min from the house? Check. Sang Happy Birthday to my mom and gave her a free shot? Check. Pasion Tequila is everything you want in a local Mexican food restaurant. Margaritas are strong but also delicious. Food is awesome and right at the price point. Service is quick and friendly, even when you sit down with a group of 12 and then don’t leave for 2 hours. They have large, ridiculous sombreros to put on gringos’ heads when its their birthdays. Did I mention that the margaritas were cheap? We came here as a surprise for my mom’s birthday– 5 of our 12 person group got there on time, the birthday girl and others got there almost 30min after our reservation. Staff was friendly, quick, and on top of things even though we were a trainwreck. Also, bonus points for being musical– their version of happy birthday was really good. Food was delicious, and served hot. My enchiladas were delicious, and the pork in the husband’s tacos was tender, juicy, and so far and above what you typically get. Everyone at our table cleaned their plate, and only one person had leftovers to take home. For us, that’s a good sign since we’re a pretty finicky bunch. Definitely will be back… and probably will be walking down during the warmer months so we can properly enjoy those beverages,

I really enjoyed my meal here, but staff was not the friendliest. I got chicken/beef fajitas. We were seated quickly and our order was taken quickly. –The beef could have been more tender –The sour cream tasted fake — I wish the plate came with more guacamole — The waitress was not super friendly

Finally found Tex-Mex. Everything that we have had here is delicious. So are the Marguerites and Sangria. The Coke is Mexican Coke… the solitons are so good.@

We only had one experience here but that was enough for me not to return. The service was miserable, rude, and slow. Then after waiting for a pretty long time, we received our meal. It was not appetizing and seemed like poor quality. We do not plan on going back.

+Friendly staff, giant portions –No negative experiences Delicious chips and salsa. My Arroz con Mariscos was so giant, I ate half for lunch the next day. The guy that took care of my group was so incredibly friendly and on top of things, even though the place was packed. Great experience. :)

We came here on the recommendation of a friend but we were very disappointed. The staff seemed so disinterested in serving us. Not one smile the entire time. The salsas were really good. Probably the best part of the meal. I looked past the bad service in hopes of delicious food, but what came out was less than mediocre. Everything just tasted dry and stale. I couldn’t even finish my food. Paying the check made us regret choosing this place as we could’ve had an incredible meal somewhere else for the same price. I’m really not someone who writes negative reviews, but I drove out of my way tonight past all of the other restaurants on Bothell Everett Highway to go to a local business instead of a chain. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t try it for yourself, but I just didn’t have a very good experience.

Must have been an off day for the folks here. Wait staff was unhappy and not very welcoming. I waited 20 minutes with an empty iced tea and when it’s abnormally hot out, not good. Wow, we come here often and even the food was off par. My normally huge Colorado burrito was about ¼ it’s normal size. My wife and sons chimichanga were dry. We really like this place and normally bring folks here that are visiting from out of town. I hope the get it right next time because today’s rude staff and small portions equate to 2 strikes and we don’t return after 3. Fix the problem passion, normally a 4 – 5 star experience.

This is our favorite local Mexican restaurant. The food is flavorful and delicious. I love their fresh margaritas and I always order the chile relleno. It is not fried which is the best part. They also have the best Refried beans and pico de gallo. I recommend this place to everyone!

Stiff drinks, delicious food, and if you sit in the cantina area, the bartenders are great! This is my favorite place to go for Mexican on the east side. I’ve had several things on the menu and never been disappointed, though if I had to pick a favorite, I’d have to say the traditional Molcajete is superb. All of their margaritas are great, especially their«Skinny» margarita — which isn’t some artificial low-carb girly drink — it’s actually a more traditional margarita, made with pure lime juice and agave, rather than a mix. Highly recommend!

My family and I stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and the restaurant was busy with several large parties. We still had very friendly service despite the staff being very busy. The chips were warm and crunchy, and the salsa was refreshing and spicy. The kids enjoyed their meals of cheese quesadillas and chicken tenders(there’s always that one picky eater). I ordered the tacos al carbon, which are described as, «Two soft tortillas(corn or flour) simmered in red sauce(mild) and filled with strips of skirt steak and a chunky salsa.» The steak was delicious in this dish! My husband ordered some combo plate, and he enjoyed his food, as well. As you can see from the pictures, the portions are plentiful. Solid Mexican restaurant that is family-friendly if you find yourself in Bothell.
