Had the curry fried rice. Wasn’t too tasty. Centrally located with lots of parking.

I am no food connoisseur by any means but I do like to try new Thai places in all the cities that I travel to. So I have to have a good base to base this review on. This is my first time coming at lunch and ordered the chicken pad thai and I would give it 3 stars. The chicken pasta ratio was very poor and I ended up with a half plate full of pasta with no chicken. I ordered it at level 3 spicy and that was ok but the sauce that was on the pasta was a little weird to me… not what I would typically see. The service also struggled a little bit as it is a very small shop authentic but very small with only 3 people working there including cooks and wait staff. I had to actually get up and go to the counter and find someone to let me pay. Most likely I will not return to this location.

The food has always been great no matter what I have ordered. I work close by so I eat there 1 – 2 times a week. It is a family owned business and they care above t the quality of food.

I need an intervention. I’ve gone to Thai Tanee every week for about the past month, and I’ve got my order down to a science. I get chicken fresh rolls and an order of Thai-style chicken pad Thai. I eat two fresh rolls and a little pad Thai the first day, and the third fresh roll and the rest of the pad Thai the second day(and the third day, if there’s any left). The fresh rolls are a lot bigger and less expensive than other places. Sure, they just have rice noodles, chicken and lettuce, but everyone knows you only order fresh rolls as a socially acceptable vessel with which to enjoy peanut sauce. The Thai-style pad Thai is SOMUCHBETTER than regular. Regular is orange, which means it’s ketchup based. Once you have Thai-style, you’ll never go back. Period. Although Pen Thai is closer to my office, I’ll always go the extra mile(literally) to Thai Tanee based on price, pad Thai, and phresh rolls(the Three Ps of Thai).

Still coming here regularly! The food is outstanding, well seasoned and spicy…3 stars here equals 4 or 5 at other thai places! Prices are reasonable, excellent friendly service and those chefs are the best! If they’d offer squid affordably and go GREEN on takeout using cardboard i’d give em 6 stars! And TRY their yakisoba! Usually considered japanese their version is to die for soooooo good!

Soooo good. The staff here are always super friendly and the food is to Thai for(super lame, I know). The Pad Thai is by far my favorite. If you live by or are in the area make it a point to stop in for some really yummy food.

Orange Chicken is a must try! Everytime we want something quick and delicious we always call here. They are always very pleasant and curtious even if we call 20 min before closing time, they still make our food and have it ready for pick up. I alwayd gey the Pad Thai lunch special. You won’t bw disappointed!

This place has the best chicken pad thai. They have the white sauce I like and it seems that no other thai place does! They make the food very quickly and are nice when they bring it out. It is never very busy, but that doesn’t really bother me. Every time I have gotten pad thai from here it has been consistently good! My boyfriend and I go out of our way to come here for Thai food!

I would say this is a pretty decent place. The food was good and cheap. It’s a good place to go for a quick dinner or lunch. If you are looking for a place to have lunch and dinner with your family or friends this is not a to go place. It’s small and doesn’t have many tables … Overall it’s a decent place.

It was my first time at Thai Tanee Express. The customer service was top notch they smiled and greeted me when I walked in. I even had a friendly conversation with the staff. I order Tuesday’s daily special cashew chicken, rice, pad Thai, and spring roll. I even order something not on the menu which is cucumber salad. The food was prepared fresh because you can see them cooking everything. I greatly appreciate that they made me cucumber salad 4 stars with a side of white rice. Everything tasted excellent and for them to make me something not on the menu made it even better. I order to go and I was provided utensils and napkins. I can’t wait to taste everything on the menu. Food was prepared in 10 to 15 minutes. They packed the to go order like a present.

This was located in such a convenient location, next to 24 hour fitness so we had to come here after we worked out. The prices are great and the portion size is pretty big! We ordered lemongrass chicken and chicken pad Thai, both in 2 stars. Both were yummy, but the pad Thai was a bit too spicy so we had to ask them for more bean sprouts to lessen the spiciness. Nonetheless, all the food was still delicious! I’m definitely coming back again!

I really only order one dish here(Pad Kee Mao, 2 stars, pork, no tomatoes) but oh my gosh it is … YUM. Service is insanely fast(5 – 10 minutes every time, for the past 20 or so times I’ve been there) and portions are good for the low price. Tips: – 3 stars is verrry spicy! – come here a little before 12:10 to avoid a line – The thai iced coffee is beautifully layered, but a little sweet when you get past the first 10 sips.

Express? Pretty sure that means FASTFOOD! I came here for lunch with my coworker. There are not many options in the area without going too far! I found this place. We drove over. Good thing was there’s parking everywhere. We walked in, ordered, and sat. We both ordered the meal of the day, «Curry + Phad Thai + Rice + a friend spring roll.» Yes, it seemed like a very good deal and generous portion. However, it was just ok! Perhaps, I will give another shot in the future but I’d have to know what the meal of the day first.

Just ate here and ordered the tuesday special. Wow is this food the worst. It is so SO salty and the chicken was old and dry. When I told the waitress se gave me attitude and said«oh okay.» And walked away. A good business would take my dish back and give me a new one or even apologize. I’ve never had such bad service not even at McDonald’s. Big big mistake. The workers in the back were staring at us the entire meal. Avoid this place at all costs, Quiznos would’ve been a much better option. And I’ve had a lot of Thai food.

I go here for lunch sometimes as I work closeby. I also call in for takeout occasionally when I’m in a hurry. First, this place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they do great Thai food and they do it fast! I’ve always had really quick service while I’ve been there, and when I’ve called in, it’s always been ready before I show up. Their Pad Thai is always good as well as their curries and fresh rolls(which I always get at any Thai restaurant I go to to see how they do things). Their star system is a little light, but I’ve come to expect that from places not looking to get complaints from people who order things too spicy and then complain about it. They also have specials which include multiple entrees so you don’t have to buy full portions of things you won’t eat all of just to get a few different tastes. The specials are also a great deal which saves money and keeps me coming back regularly. With great service, location, food, and price, you could hardly ask for anything more. I will keep coming here for lunch when I get a Thai attack, and I always know I’ll get quick, great tasting food, for not a lot of dough.

I was craving some Thai today so I decided to get some take out during my lunch break. I thought it’d be a quick service but it actually took 25 minutes to get my food. Probably because I had 4 people before me that were ordering and 2 people waiting for their food. Anyways, I got the Pad See Ew and ‘ew’ I didn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to. It had something a little off from what I’m used to… The ones I’ve usually eaten were more soy sauce taste or sweet. Maybe I had a weird day, but I felt like this was a bit more vinegary? Or had more of a sour taste to it. Overall, i’m sure their other dishes are good and its a great price for them, but the pad see ew wasn’t too good for me.

Moral of the story: Never judge a book by its cover. Thai Thanee is located in Bothell, near the Google Bothell campus and other tech companies. Not much else. Also, its in a strip mall next to Staples. However, its the best Thai I’ve had in a very long time! I would take my experience with a grain of salt, though-I’ve spent the last 2 years in the Midwest, and Thai food is not exactly the forte of my college town. My taste buds may have gone extinct. But, having had Thai Tom days before, my go-to place for Thai for the past 7 years in Seattle, this places is my new favorite. I would go as far as to say to drive the extra 40 minutes to eat this food. The main difference between the Thai I had here and the Thai I have had before is the veggies. The veggies here still had the crispness we associate with fresh vegetables. The mushrooms were whole, the green beans were crunchy, the bell peppers were sauteed, not soggy-fied. Service is quick and attentive. Quick to refill water, and the food is presented well. The price for the food is also very reasonable. I have every intention of going back! Also, FYI: If you are female, you may be the only female during the lunch hour. Many people come and order take-out, given everyone’s work schedules, but I was the only female of 15 or so sit-in eaters the day I was at Thai Thanee. Kind of sort of represents the gender disparities in the tech field, though. Happy Thai eating!
