This place is wonderful for working, and they have live music Fridays! I believe Saturdays too. The Lion’s Den is known for its working atmosphere for students and others alike. They have delicious food and amazing coffee choices, including different alternative milk choices. I also love their Bubble teas! They have a variety of foods with options too, such as cookies that are gluten-free and vegan. Yay! Super fun place, they have lots of seating AND special rooms you can reserve in the back. All sorts of tables and a bar like one nearby the window. One con is the lack of parking when busy. They have such a small lot as they are right on the street and there is another business nearby, plus houses right next door. So be careful during lunch time and those Friday nights or live music event times. Busy busy, but they are worth it! Such friendly folk and they provide great customer service along with delicious food and coffee. I recommend coming here!

Very cozy café. Great coffee with reasonable price. Love their mug comparing to others. A good place for study and chill.

I drop by at least 3 mornings a week for a hot decaf americano or an iced decaf espresso. The flavor of the decaf espresso is really nice — rich, strong, and most importantly, not sour/acidic! The establishment was recently purchased and will soon be named Drip City Coffee. I’m looking forward to the renovation, because although the interior has a quasi hipster-reused vibe, it does read dirty and worn out in some areas. There is ample space for work or studying, which I appreciate. And the almond croissants are really good and most of the pastries are made by a small Seattle bakery, and delivered to the shop via a partnership with other small businesses i.e. local delivery company, etc.

This is quickly becoming my new favorite. It’s a cozy joint with a laid-back vibe. The coffee and tea are both awesome, and I’m always able to get a ton of work done while I’m there. I’ve had a couple of the vegan items from their menu, and those were great, as well. Staff is friendly and service is always great. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

My husband and I met today at The Den Coffeehouse. The people working there were very helpful, and the coffee and sandwich was fabulous. This is a friendly place with comfortable chairs.

They have decent coffee. But I asked for a 12oz latte and it came out to be $ 5.95. They charge extra for honey and pre-packaged sweetener(like Splenda) which is usually free anywhere else. But when I went back to ask the barista if she might have accidentally charged me wrong, she promised she hadn’t. I added all the pricing up, and she would have owed me $ 2.50 back. So either she really just didn’t want to give me a refund, or I’m wrong and they actually charge almost 6 dollars for 12oz.

Met a friend for lunch here for the first time. This is a great coffee shop with excellent food selections. I ordered the turkey and cheese panini and honestly wasn’t expecting much and it was delicious. 5 stars all the way. My friend had the turkey wrap and loved it, it looked gourmet. I’d definitely come back here anytime. I signed up for their rewards program, I think it is after 9 drinks you get 10th free. Was super easy, I only had to provide my name. They have a great little book shelf with things for kids. My daughter was in tow and had a good time, she’s 4. They had many selections like yogurt, apples, etc in addition to salads, soups, sandwiches hot and cold, and wraps and more I’d imagine. It’s a cozy environment and they can have my money anytime instead of starbucks. Coffee was well executed and served with flair. Well done The Den, an epic Unilocal find for sure!

I love this place and the people! They are one of the few places in Bothell that know how to brew a good cup of tea and use a timer so that the tea doesn’t steep forever and become undrinkable. You must try the Lavender Earl Grey! We also Love the private rooms and the friendly staff. The sandwiches and pastries are top notch! We will keep coming back every Saturday! Thank you!

My wife and I love coming to Lyon’s den. It’s a cozy and home like coffeehouse with amazing coffee. Free WiFi and lots of seating and two meeting rooms you can reserve for meeting or study groups. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The drinks are amazing from the coffee drinks, bubble tea loose leaf tea and beer and wine at night. The food is always fresh with great variety which includes a great vegan menu since my wife and I are vegan. A great place for long study groups, a stop before work or a nice happy hour drink by the fireplace.

The Den is a great place to get your study on. The coffee is amazing and a 20oz comes with 4 shots! Woo hoo! Food is great too: I like the breakfast sandwiches! Only downside is sometimes drinks come out VERY slow and baristas’ personal conversations can be loud.

The atmosphere is calm and comfortable. I built my own sandwich and it was amazing! Unfortunately, I got the bubble tea which was horrible and extremely sweet. Both items were way over priced… And staff was rude! Probably won’t go there again

This is a cute little place also known as The Lyons Den. Great atmosphere for working, studying, and meeting up with people. They have two rooms, one for quiet study and another for non. If you’re an artist, they also allows you to display your art to sell. So glad I found this place.

I love this place but my only compliant it that is sometimes takes a long time to get food or a drink made in the morning. I have found that ordering a head of time on my way to work has helped because if you don’t plan on waiting 15 – 20 minutes even for tea. I will say the service is always friendly though and food and drinks are delicious :)

Pros: tasty drinks(especially the chai! YUM!) that are well made. The casual and friendly vibe has stayed consistent over the years, even with the change in ownership. Great for studying, coffee dates, or small group get togethers. Cons: limited parking and the service is iffy at best. 9⁄10 I end up waiting at the counter after entering without being acknowledged by the person being the counter for longer than is usual for any business.

I’ve been going year over the years since they opened. Coffee is always good. The food is tasty and it was a great place to get homework done and hear some music. The service is hit or miss. But I’m giving them 5 stars because I will always go back.

I really like the bubble tea, and the girls in the afternoon are usually really good at accommodating requests. The one thing I really really dislike is the inconsistency of charging and the rewards points. One girl puts the Groupon $ 5 on the dens rewards system, another says bubble tea doesn’t count towards that bit I can use the 5 star points program or whatever. Then a totally diff girl says only the difference I pay on the Groupon goes towards the dens rewards system. Can we just have one simple system that everybody is on board with please? I’m already willing to pay 6 something for a bubble tea, can we not have me scramble to figure out which program and what money goes where?

Great coffee. Loved the breakfast sandwiches! Prices are similar to those in the downtown Kirkland/Bellevue/Redmond area, but the quality of the food is better. Will return!

I’ve been here about a dozen times ordering coffee for here every time. The coffee is always delicious(thank you!) but it’s always hard to drink because I’ve never been given a glass that isn’t chipped on the rim, some glasses chipped in 2 or 3 spots. As a food service worker, I am 100% sure using chipped dishes goes against food service guidelines and is a negative mark on health department visits. Second, the tall, thin, bubbly female server has been on her cell phone more than one occasion, and even had the caller on speaker phone loud enough to hear across the whole café. Personal cell phone calls of any kind should be saved for being off the floor. Hands down. Especially speaker phone calls… And this happened after she forgot a customer’s order because she«totally spaced it.» Decent prices, decent food. Even though the place looks and feels like it’s falling apart, I choose this place more often than others because it’s usually worth it. So thank you for that, but please work on the rest.

They seen to raise the price after adjusting the menu and the service quality went down. If you are in a hurry, goto Starbucks instead. It’s cheaper and quicker.
