There is a BIGREDWOODTREE in the middle of the room! It is a great attraction to the location, however it does bring in some of its nature as well. Spider webs, small creep crawlers, and yes. flies right next to the fresh cut meat. Not sure if the public health and safety inspection will give this place a pass when they find out how this place is really managed. I just want to be clear tho. All the staff here should get a 5 star foe the work they do, these ladies got my rush orders in and made them all nice and accommodating. However, if I end up with a bad stomachache we will know why. The furniture in here are some… really old stuff. When you sit on the sofa you just sink into the middle-earth and cat get out, everything around you seems so big because you’ve just became a hobbit. The coffee is average … for a place that roasts their own coffee this is unimpressive. I am disappointed. However, must mention one last time that the services were 5 star!

Comfy and spacious indoor environment with an amazing view of greenery in the back. Beverage prices aren’t absurd and pastries/muffins are available if you’re famished. There isn’t much else available in terms of food here. Some parts of the building itself are a bit dilapidated, and that might be off-putting to some, but I found it somewhat charming.

Can I live here please? I love how funky and slanty everything is and the lovely tree inside the place.

I’m not impressed. The place is literally falling apart. The floors are torn up, it’s musty, and the building is slanting. The girls working the counter were very nice and promptly helped me. To the owners… please, please remodel this place! So that we locals can have a beautiful place to have a coffee in Boulder Creek . I will not come back until this building is remodeled.

We stopped here to get some afternoon refreshment and use it as a pitstop. The person who helped us was friendly and we both loved our drinks. I got a latte and my daughter got hot chocolate. Bathroom was clean(You need to ask for the key). My daughter was a little weirded out at the slant but you know, it’s fun. This was a big place and had lots of places to sit and tables. I saw some people working. The tree growing in the center is wickedly fun.

The only thing cool about this place is that there is a beautiful redwood tree in the middle of the coffee place which I love but. .. The place is dirty. There are flies everywhere including in the sugar that looks like it hasn’t been freshly changed in months. Yuk!

Coffee is good. Lots of space to do wifi but, someone needs to tell the employees to close the door and not let all the flies in!

I love this coffee shop. Sure it’s an old building, affected by the«Boulder Creek Lean», but we are here to drink coffee not judge the architecture… I’ve chatted with the owner/in house coffee roaster, he has 20 years + experience buying and roasting beans from all over the planet. He knows his stuff. And the coffee proves it! There’s always a friendly(and cute) smile behind the bar, always fresh daily donuts(try the blueberry), and a REDWOODTREE growing right through the middle of the coffee shop ! Charming to say the least. And if you tickle the ivory you can pull up a stool and play a little tune on the piano! Don’t forget to get a bag of fresh roasted organic Sumatran coffee for the house !

Come here often, but only put up with it because there is not much in the San Lorenzo valley. The coffee is OK. The pastries are expensive. The workers are friendly, during peak hours are overwhelmed. The entire building is owned by one person and should be completely rebuilt from the ground up. It looks dangerous, of course, so do many other buildings in Boulder Creek. The people that hang out at this establishment are pretty scary looking, but this is Boulder Creek and someone forgot to tell Boulder Creek that the 60s is over.

Had a great experience this morning! Apple fritters were tasty, bagel and cream cheese — they did not skimp on the lox, breakfast burrito was huge and tasty and the latte as good! View out of the back room was calming.

Cool place. The mocha was pretty good, the front room is LAME, but the back room is AMAZING! There is a redwood tree growing though the back room block the view of the front room. There are many tables with view out the back window to the creek. There is a nice comfy couch to hang out on. I’m a little concerned about most of the room slanting down towards the creek, so I probably wouldn’t go during or shortly after a storm, but late spring through early fall, I’m there!

First thing… It’s Boulder Creek… There isn’t much as far as options. The space is kinda dingy, the coffee is ok… and really it’s nothing special. The service was good, but that may have been because we were the only people in the whole shop. I will say that the giant redwood growing through the middle of the shop is pretty cool.

What a cool place. They roast their own beans and the coffee is deelish! Super friendly service with a smile! Hung out for a while next to a huge tree growing in the middle of the shop and took in the beautiful view of the creek below. Look forward to visiting often.

I am a regular and I LOVE the baristas there! Every single one lovely, caring girls, and really pretty as well :) I used to love my morning croissant with avocado and capers but even now that I am on a strict diet I can still get tasty things that don’t break the bank. The fruit is organic, and all I would need for total happiness is a healthy smoothie on occasion. A lot of work is going into making the place nicer and more comfortable. It may take a while. My dream addition would be a smoke free patio.

Great place to grab coffee in Boulder Creek. There are usually some characters hanging out but don’t let that scare you away… the same can be said for most places in the valley. The coffee is tasty and the baristas are friendly!

Great coffee! Glad they’re here. Keep up the good work! Some people complain about the service or the perfume but I didn’t have those problems. They have lots of already brewed coffee, but I ordered a cappuccino to make sure it’s fresh. Even though they were doing some employee training, it came out delicious. give them a try!

I’ve been in five times since the change in ownership. Three times out of five, the staff has been too busy socializing to even acknowledge that I was there or take my order for quite some time. The menu selection is unremarkable. Most off-putting is the collection of dodgy, foul smelling characters who size you up as you enter and leave and ask if you«need something.» What’s that? Would I Iike a little meth with my bagel and cup of wake-up? Hmm. No thanks. When this was Rainbow’s End, it was a little run down at the edges, but a comfortable and nice place full of friendly folks. When it flipped there was an opportunity to really make it something, the kind of coffee shop that would become a nice place to socialize in Boulder Creek, with a great view of Bear Creek out the window. Sadly, that doesn’t look likely any time soon.
