Not only is the coffee fresh brewed, the breakfast/lunch options have a great variety and are always delicious as well. Pricing is a great value and the staff are epic and kind especially sweet Jenna Sue herself. I recommend the white mocha with a piece of coffee cake for those who are first timers, but no matter what you get you are sure to enjoy it.

Great little café in the heart of downtown Boulder Creek(note the Unilocal address takes you to the wrong location). I had a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese lox and capers, only thing I’d change is put the capers under the lox so they don’t roll off when you eat it. Got some gluten free pastries to go for my neighbors and they were terrific.

Great little coffee shop and eatery tucked away in sleepy Boulder Creek. Located on the main drag, you can find this local restaurant by its iron scroll bracket and hanging sign the fastest. Parking is usually available on the street, and there is always a friendly face to welcome us out of towners and to caffeinate and feed us properly. Will always stop in when in the area for a quick bite and great coffee. Thanks for the friendly service! :)

I wish I could say better things, the food there tends to be decent, and it’s in a pretty area. The coffee is pretty bad, but it’s not as bad as the attitude from those behind the counter. We were in with our daughter the other day, and my wife noticed our daughters food was ready, and sitting on the counter. Our daughter was hungry, so she went up to get it, and the woman at the counter chastised her, rudely saying that she would call out her order when it was ALL ready, and that she would appreciate it if she didn’t just grab stuff off the counter. Ok, so my wife sits down, and we wait, and wait, and wait. Finally she says our order is ready. The reason for the long wait? She had combined some other guests order in with ours, so we had to wait until all of it was done. When my wife only took our food, she was again chastised for not taking all of the order. When she calmly explained to the lady that this was not our food, she just glared at her, no apology, nothing. I get the impression that there are tons of local friends and family that stop by, as the few tables are always crowded, and a lot of these folks seem to have the right to wander behind the counter and grab whatever they want. I’m assume the regulars get treated well, but we haven’t been in enough to break through that barrier.

If you are in Boulder Creek this is the place for coffee. They are very fast and also have a nice selection of good pastries. If you do get their here is a hint, take a look in the cold food and grab a English Pie. They are so good and will crush most normal appetites.

Cash, or check only. Normally don’t go past 3 stars for food heated in microwaves. But this was very fresh and nuke was only used for post assembly of dish. The precooked foods were obviously cooked using proper and non greasy techniques, and was very well prepared. Very good Mexican mocha. Excellent value as well. Small, quaint, with unrushed service. Relax. Your in the mountains.

Great tasting mochas without too much sugar like Starbucks. My girlfriend loves the lattes and machiados. I would give them 5 stars if the breakfast food were better, I tried a few things and they were all fairly basic

The coffee cake is amazing and the mocha was excellent! The service is irrelevant to me if the product is great and prepared with love.

Rustic and downhome, I recommend this local-feel stop off for coffee, lunch and breakfasts. I strongly suggest asking for Laura’s pies, mixed berry and apple pie, to start with. One of my favorite menu items is their oatmeal with 6 fruity and nut topping for $ 6.25; this deceiving in size because it is outstandingly hearty. Both the workers and locals are friendly, and you it is great place to get the latest local news. Coffee is excellent and breakfast burritos are winners. If you live in the valley like I do, you’ll appreciate the oasis this place offers from the pretentious Starbuck’s and Panera atmospheres. Make this place a second home! I would like to add that it would be nice if they used latex gloves when making sandwiches after handling money.

This is a small location so there isn’t many seats available(a couple bar seats and a couple tables) so it can be difficult to feel completely at ease if your not into tight intimate spaces. You can guarantee that there is always a great selection of pastries, quiche, and bagels(jalapeño cheddar being my top pick), as well as your classic breakfast items like biscuits and gravy. She has some REALLY good bagels! And her mochas are a perfect fit to go with your comfort breakfast. Stop in, they’ll treat you nice and you will walk out satisfied!

I wish there was a 0 star option. I had a horrible experience when a friend and I visited here just the other day. I walk in and the woman behind the counter(a larger, short, blond middle aged woman) takes my order. I was looking at the pastries they had to offer, all looked very good, actually. I said I wasn’t quite ready yet and she just rolled her eyes and started doing something else. When I decided on a drink, I went to order from her. When I handed her my card, her response was simply, «I don’t take cards.» She then looked at my friend and asked if she was getting anything. Ok, thanks for deciding to skip me just assuming I couldn’t pay. Luckily, my friend had cash and was able to solve this payment issue. I’m sorry I didn’t know you were cash only. If it was posted, it obviously wasn’t in clear view. This woman was very rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming. I couldn’t wait to leave. I will never be coming back.

ladies, love your little coffee shop… don’t wish to insult but your coffee sucks, tasted burnt and bitter and the pastries ?? oh dear … Can I suggest you visit Verve on a field trip and do some research. ? Not that they are the final word but the coffee tastes balanced and flavorful. Peet’s downtown has rich and flavorful coffee too. ever travelled overseas? New Zealand or Australia …? their coffee culture makes us look positively neanderthal. Not your fault … most American’s are happy with burnt drip coffee from a gas station or starbucks.

Nice atmosphere, good variety of food and drink. Just wish their hours were longer, and also sometimes there is a lady at the register who is kind of overwhelming. You’re trying to read the menu and decide, and she keeps pestering you and telling you a million things about every item that you didn’t ask, and hoping you’ll hurry up and order… when you probably would if she’d let you breathe! But the other people are mellow, and it’s a cozy place.

The food and beverage options at Jenna Sue’s are delicious and expertly prepared. The environment is small town cozy, and the CLIENTELE is phenomenally friendly and happy all the time. That is all the praise I can give the place, honestly. Out of the dozen or so times I have gone in, Jenna and her crew have never once been friendly. They are curt, hurried, and act like I am inconveniencing them. The happier I am going in, the more it seems they are frustrated that I’m smiling for a second instead of spouting off my order. Baristas are one part service, two parts great attitude, and these girls seem to be 3 parts service. For that, it does take a while to get your order, but thankfully it is tasty or it would have been a one visit flopper. Today begged a review, since my sister went in to get a coffee and bagel for me since I just had surgery and needed something easy. The staff informed her that they were out of pesto cheese bagels, so they all agreed on pesto cream cheese. I usually like it, but the thought of it today made me nauseous, so I asked my sis to go request regular cream cheese if possible. no big deal if they couldn’t. When my sister said I didn’t like/wasn’t in the mood for pesto cream cheese and would like it plain, Jenna asked her«how old is this person?» That struck me as just plain rude. It wasn’t a joke, it was frustration, and it was targeted at me from afar. Silly, all around. I understand a little frustration since I wasn’t present and there’s room for misunderstandings, but blatantly rude and completely unprofessional questions like that are out of place in business. All that said, there are other options, like my kitchen or a short drive to the other places around SC county with way better service. I’ll be passing this place up for a while, until I hear from word of mouth that their service has improved.

Not only are all the staff super sweet, they are also talented! I always get iced soy peppermint lattes and i’m pretty sure i’ve made them run out of the syrup a few times. It’s such a cute little place i’d recommend for anyone. They also have awesome coffee cake!

This place has delicious pastries and espresso drinks! I love the nutella mocha or white mocha with fresh whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles on top :) It makes me so happy. They also have yummy pies! I especially love the pumpkin pie they make before Thanksgiving. The chicken tortilla soup, bagels, muffins, bear claws are all delicious. This place is great for a quick breakfast or lunch! The service is very friendly and I always seem to meet nice people there.
