i have been a once every couple of months customer here since the shop opened. I used to live around the corner and was in more frequently. I cannot speak to the prepared meals, but the meat and cheese selection is extensive and the knowledge and advice that Wil and Coral and their staff provide is worth every penny. yes, you can find many of these cheeses and even meats at whole foods or even murrays cheese shop at king soopers, but the selection and expertise here is worth the visit we did a full catered cheese and meat plate for thanksgiving appetizers a few years back and they did an excellent job despite being extremely busy and having only been open for a short while. keep up the great job guys. you add a valuable business to the east end of Pearl!

Amazingly good service, really good cheese and cold meats selection. Some of the other food items are a little pricey but not too bad. We had a selection of cold meats and cheeses which were all really good. The poor fellow behind the counter put up with an endless barrage of questions like a trooper! They’ll let you taste things, so do that if you’re not sure!

Cured is an amazing cheese monger and charcuteries shop. The customer service is excellent, the have a really good selection of cheeses and the cured meats they carry are top notch, especially the duck proccuito is amazing. Cut it thin and put it on pizza! I also tried the mole salami and a hard chorizo. Both were very good. The best cheese I got there was an aged Gouda but they also had a very good hard goat cheese. Today I called in an order for a gift basket and Jessica was able to help me quickly and efficiently while clearly dealing with a very busy store. Lastly the whole concept of a location with shared space, in which a very good coffee place resides, is in my opinion genius.

So usually I like to get a little crafty and creative with my reviews but Cured deserves the beauty of a simplistic statement — Cured is deliciously inviting and noting less then amazing.

I absolutely love this place! I think I consumed perhaps the most delicious sandwich that has ever crossed my lips: local roast beef on fresh baguette with marinated red peppers, arugula, Gruyère, aoli, and I’m pretty sure orgasms gaaaaaah. Cured is certainly not your every-day-grab-a-quick-sand-to-shove-in-your-face-on-your-lunch-break type establishment, but rather something elevated. Special. A true treat. Also, every employee I have encountered has been genuinely friendly and accommodating, in a down to earth and real sort of way. I highly appreciate Cured.

Got to go back to Boulder and back to this place, and luckily for me, it’s thriving and doing wonderful things. Everything is so fantastic, I’m such a huge fan. Deliciousness and quality. Highly recommend!

Oh, this place is totally amazing! They have so much to choose from, are totally friendly and very knowledgeable! Their daily sandwich offerings are awesome as are their picnics — I would go there every single day if I lived closer!

One of my favoritest of favorite places in all of Boulder — and it comes down to one simple reason: their olives! I could eat my weight(happily) in their olives. They also have amazing cured meats(as the name suggests) and a hand-selected bounty of wine and liquor. Oh, and cheese — if you eat that. Their market is cute, too. You can pick up pretzels, chocolate, sauces, and all kinds of artisan goods. Bonus: it shares space with my favorite coffee shop in all of Boulder: Boxcar.

I’ve had people ask why they should try Cured when every grocery from Whole Foods on down has an overflowing selection of cheese now. The answer is that you go here when you don’t want to have to paw through a hundred mediocre examples to discover a great one. They have a curated(ha ha) selection, with every salami and gouda truly delicious. The staff are also very helpful in guiding you in tasting and selecting. Aside from the meat and cheese, there’s bread(the big round rosemary loaf is outstanding), overpriced gourmet dry goods(the little $ 40 bottle of olive oil is obviously not for me), and a wine room in back. Like up front, the selection tends to the higher end, but so far all excellent, and the staff really know how to match you with something you’ll love. Picking up a spread makes a fun group lunch with friends, or would make a fabulous special picnic date.

Today I splurged on a nearly $ 12 half meatball sub, as i’ve heard this place was great. I ordered right when they opened, and one of the employees told me it should be about 15 minutes for the meatballs. I said that was fine, they had just opened after all. I waited and waited though, and I finally got my sandwich after an hour and ten minutes. The sandwich itself was great, but I don’t want to pay almost $ 12 for a sandwich that takes more than an hour to get to me when they didn’t have many orders yet.

Cured is awesome. Come for the coffee(at Boxcar) and stay for the ambiance. Or for the olive oil tasting. Or the wine tasting on Tuesday. Or for the vibe and conversation. Basically this is the place for like minded, bike riding, food loving, Mac using, wine-o, cheese-o files. Cured is great and Will and Coral will treat you well. Yum yum.

With all of the«foodies» in Boulder sometimes it is hard to find the people that are truly foodies in business for the right reasons, and then the people that are in it to take advantage. Cured is a business that is in it because they simply love good foods. I normally go there to buy Spanish Chorizo, because the Mexican Chorizo you find around here just will not cut it for authentic Spanish cooking. They offer a wide variety of cured meats(duh) from both US and foreign producers, cheeses from Local creameries, Domestic and Foreign cheeses. Their sundries section is great too, they offer Bomba Rice for Paella, Arborio and other short grain rices from Italy. They have Truffle products, both white and black, Fresh baked bread and pretzels. They also have a nice wine cellar with some great wines, both in value and quality, my Favourite being AIX a Rose from Provence. While I have yet to try their made to order foods, they do look good, and it is hard for me to not buy some. For little more than the cost of a fast casual burrito you can get some great sounding sandwiches, like the Spicy Frenchman or Tuscan Sin, all made using their amazing ingredients, so I can only imagine how great it would be. Each time I come in, it takes me back to some of the small shops in Europe that offered the same variety of goods.

Cured gives hope that small independent shops still have a significant place. They have an excellent selection of cheese and salami as well as a well stocked wine selection. Will knows his wine very well and has never let me down with his suggestions. Come, enjoy a sample or two and then load up for your upcoming party, picnic or romantic evening!

One of my favorite experiences in Boulder was stumbling across Cured and sitting down for two hours of amazing cheeses and meats. If you like going out to get fresh foods then this place is for you. They’ll walk you through every detail about everything they sell. What pairs well with what, what flavor I am looking for, and what region everything is from.

This is the best place in Boulder to get your cheese, charcuterie, spreads or lunch. Samples are handed out plentifully and the atmosphere matches the quality of the product; divine.

Such an awesome find in Boulder — come here and get a charcuterie plate. You will not be disappointed. We got a «snack size»(it’s done by weight) and it was still quite a lot of cheese and meat. All of food on our plate was delicious. Really cool and unique cheeses and meats. Also loved the olives — YUM! The best part was how surprised we were by the price. $ 10 for an awesome selection of super unique cheeses and meats from around the world?! Unbelievable. You’d be making a mistake by not visiting here!

I think this is one of Boulder’s ultimate gems. Cured has one of my favorite, curated wine collections in Boulder. Consistently well-priced with bottles that you aren’t going to find many other places in Colorado. The cheese and charcuterie is outstanding and the bread is the best anywhere. Whole Foods has its place but for top-notch cheese, you have to stop by Cured. I find the daily sandwiches to be riveting — always a wonderful option and there are tables here to stay and eat. Just a fabulous place — I can’t say enough good things. Go there now!

I’ve walked past this spot numerous times and finally popped by to grab a sandwich for lunch. Place is just so adorable, a table of artisan breads welcome you at the door. Mosey on over to the back and you’ll find a well curated selection of cheese displayed behind a glass counter top. I ordered their veggie friendly sandwich of the day which ended up being one of the tastiest sandwiches I’ve had in Boulder thus far. Crusty, chewy baguette, hunk of brie, slices of gala apple, smears of fig jam(LOVEFIGS) and a handful of arugula. Some vegetarian sandwiches leave me unfulfilled(how the hell is a girl supposed to get full of of JUST sprouts and micro greens?!) but I was fully satisfied after I practically inhaled this one. The selections change daily so I think I’ve found my new go to lunch eatery. Tasty and convenient!

This place is right next to our HQ office on Pearl street. I wanted a quick lunch and was recommended to give this place a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at the sandwich I had. The bread was very good, the olive oil in the sandwich was great and so was the prusciutto and the cheese… Some table in the back, but I’d say that it’s meant for a quick pickup and go(sandwiches of the day are prepared in advance, but were very fresh). It makes a quick lunch… Quick!

The selection of cheese & meats is smaller as compared to other shops I’ve been to, but it’s not how big it is, it’s what you do with it. At Cured, they do it well. It may say«Boxcar Coffee Roasters» predominately on the outside, but it’s cheesy goodness on the inside. You know the saying, «When in Boulder, eat Cheese»(well, you do now, and I didn’t say it was famous). Cured is just part of a overall wonderful experience at 1825 B Pearl Street. Just peak inside, and it’ll lure you in with Boxcar to the left of the shop(best coffee-experience EVER), and then on the right, you’ll be sent into overload with a fine selection of bottled and jar items, bodacious breads, then a cheese shop(«Cured», oh yeah, that’s right), and a small wine and local liqueurs shop(«Cured Wines») in the back. WOW. A 3-type cheese platter was $ 15, and perfect to share for 2. Our choices: Blue Fog, La Tur, and Challerhocker(the last, suggested by the cheese specialist, ). OMG! Fog and Tur are two of my all-time-fav’s, but I have a new entry in the top 5 with the cheese that’s sound like a bad, loud, and hurtful cough. Like butter, and a nutty flavor — it was a serious«I need to be myself for a moment» experience. The platter is the way to go, as normally each of these cheeses are $ 15+ per half pound, and served with dried fruit and walnuts(no crackers, but hey…). Each shop has a specialist in each of their own stations within this beauty of a place — it’s a must-stop in Boulder.
