Service provided was both courteous and efficient; list of mattress and box spring or Foundation offerings was more than sufficient, and in fact was excellent. Staff was willing to work with me and meet me more than halfway regarding ordering and delivery options. When the first foundation did not work well for me they allowed an exchange including delivery at no charge. I would highly recommend this place to purchase mattress and the box spring is there a comprehensive range has something to suit everyone.

We are very happy with our mattress and with our experience buying from Denver Mattress in Boulder. The sale associate we worked with, Josh, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and was not at all pushy or trying to up-​sell us. No stress shopping. Prices were comparable or better than we saw at other stores for similar products. FYI — Delivery to communities outside of Boulder can be infrequent, we had to wait three weeks for our mattress so plan ahead if you live in Ned. We bought in August so new students moving to town likely had some impact on delivery timeframe. We were not in a rush and were more concerned with getting the right bed so this schedule was not an issue for us. Mission accomplished.

Just moved here to Boulder and was in need of a mattress. I stopped by Denver Mattress and asked what they had available. The sales person was present and informative, helping me find the right mattress and even a pillow that would help support my neck properly. Come pick up time two days later, he carried the mattress out himself, loaded it in the truck and tied it down. Super impressed, I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking to get a new mattress.

If I could give ZERO stars for the experience my wife and I had with this store and manager I would! We purchased a mattress set for daughter who is going to CU and spent over $ 1000. We were assured that it would be delivered 2 days later on Saturday morning. On Friday, I received a phone call to expect delivery immediately, even though I had made it very clear to the store that my daughter could not move into her apartment until Saturday am. They were very unapologetic but said it would be delivered on Saturday before noon, only after I reminded them that is what was originally promised. On Saturday, we had not heard from them by 11:30 so I called and was told that their dispatch would not have the truck out until 2:00 p.m. ONCE AGAIN, I explained we needed it early because my wife and I were leaving on a flight back home later in the afternoon. They told me they would request an early delivery and call me by 2:00. At 2:20,still hadn’t heard from them so called again. They reported that the dispatch still had not scheduled the truck for delivery and had no control over dispatch and told me they did not care about my schedule. Once again I was told I would be called by 3:30 with an update. At 4:00, I called again. This time was told the mattress may be delivered between 6 – 8 pm or possible the next day. When I told them this was not acceptable or even possible, as no one would be at the apartment, they suggested I cancel my order. That is exactly what I did… and the manager DID NOT care or apologize. In fact, he said he was going to deduct the cost of the «mattress protector» spray (supposedly worth $ 10) from my refund. SERIOUSLY! My time on the phone was worth much more.
By the way, we went 5 minutes down the road to Mattress Firm where the most professional service-​oriented sales people helped us and delivered a better mattress for less money within 40 minutes.
Bottom line: Do not believe a word this place tells you and do not expect your delivery experience to be a pleasant one once you give them your money. I think the manager did not believe I would go through with the cancellation so he treated me badly. The lesson here: there are many mattress stores in Boulder and they SHOULD treat their customers right if they want to stay in business.

I bought a mattress years ago here at the Boulder location. With it I got the greatest pillow ever. The mattress is still as comfortable as ever. I went to get more pillows and they still carried them ! The service here is outstanding and the quality and longevity of the products is great. Price is right. You must shop here! Easy. Affordable. Satisfying. Local.

We recently purchased our queen mattress with bed frame and two pillows from Denver Mattress. I can’t remember the name of the guy who helped us, but he’s from Cheyenne, WY– he was informative, friendly, to the point, and not pushy– all qualities I value when purchasing a mattress or similar item. We were able to get the student discount, which helped bring the price down. The best part was that the mattress was available asap and we were able to carry it out of the store same day.
If you’re new in town or looking for a mattress, I recommend Denver Mattress. I can’t compare it to other places in town because we were happy enough with our experience that we didn’t need to shop elsewhere. We had already done price comparisons and we felt that we got a fair price.

Although they may have a good product (we have previously bought a mattress and box spring from them), their service is really poor! We were in town visiting our son and decided that the mattress and box spring in the guest bedroom needed replacing. We went to Denver Mattress in Boulder and found a good option. The problems came when we asked for same day delivery. The best the salesman could offer was to strap the mattress and box spring to the roof of our car! That would have left us with the hassle of getting it in the house and up the stairs as well as left us with the old box spring and mattress to dispose of. Since that was a poor option, we then asked for a morning delivery the next day. Again, we got a «no can do» from the salesman. It seems that the customer is not allowed to specify a morning or afternoon delivery. Because they were not willing to work with us, they lost the sale (which didn’t seem to bother the salesman) and we went to a nearby competitor who not only delivered the mattress the day we bought it but also did it for FREE! Now THAT is Service!!!
