The salad buffet had a variety of vegetables and other selections but I was disappointed that this location doesn’t have soup on their buffet. I have went to other Jason Deli that have soup on their buffet. I feel this location is smaller than most.

For a chain restaurant in Boulder, these guys do an exceptional job. If you’re fussy about local and organic food, this may not be the place for you — but their quality is great none-​the-​less. They have a surprisingly nice salad bar for ten dollars, and they are a reliable and delicious option for corporate lunch ordering — always on time, always incredibly friendly. I order form them several times a week for large groups of people at my job, and they are yet to make a mistake on an order. Love them!

Walked in randomly and had no idea what to order… the guy at the register was super nice and helpful! Sandwich was decent but the salad bar was superb!

Although the sandwich menu looked good, I only had the salad bar which is the best one in Boulder, of all places. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Lots of variety and unique choices, including muffins and ice cream. The staff was super friendly and polite (hard to find in Boulder). At $ 8.49 it was a great deal I’ll definitely be going back soon.

I was skeptical of this place since it had a chain feel from the outside, but was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and staff.
When I walked in the guy at the counter asked if I’d been there before and if I’d like to see the full menu. Then he explained where everything was and some of the popular orders.
The manager was constantly walking around the place straightening things up and chatting with customers in a casual, friendly way (no sales or schmaltz, he seemed genuine). He seemed really focused and hard working, as did the rest of the employees.
The food was really good — I got a Cuban panini and bowl of lobster soup which was great.
Plus they have free soft serve ice team!

Stopped by on a trip across country. A lot of «healthy organic» type of options which is pretty cool. Got a stuffed baked potato and was delicious. It was stuffed with chicken and other typical baked potato toppings. Staff was really friendly and helpful on our first visit. Food was brought out to us and they picked up the dishes afterward. Free ice cream cone after the meal too. I’d go back if I ever visit Boulder again.

Staff is always really nice! Except for the manager been in there on more than one occasion and heard him being very discourtesy to staff. And tonight when I went in there I was not allowed a second trip to the salad bar, because I ordered a side salad (my usual order) just because I had the misfortune of dealing with the manager. I might add I was the only customer in the store! This chain is good over all but the management at the boulder store is discourteous and entitled

Sandwiches are fine, not great. I thought it was a sub shop, but its more of a cafeteria style place. With a big salad bar. It seems to be popular among the older crowd. Complementary soft serve ice cream cones are the reason I gave 3 stars.

Come for the salad bar, regret it for their meat, which is uniformly dry and disgusting.

I’ve had some good food in the past. Recently bought a wintry day I ordered the chili, I could practically not eaten because it was so salty. Then a couple of days ago they had a special, roast beef sandwich. It came with a garlic horseradish spread, and over all the flavor was good, but the amount of meat for a nine dollar sandwich was an absolute ripoff. Seriously, for eight dollars at Snarfs you get a sandwich so big you can split it with two people. This was 100% laughable as far as a sandwich. Which I would laugh, but it set me back by nine bucks.

UPDATE – MY WIFE JUST TOLD ME ABOUT THIS… SHE IS A CERTIFIED «SERVE SAFE» FOOD HANDLER AS AN OWNER OF A FOOD BUSINESS… SHE WITNESSED AN EMPLOYEE RUBBING HIS NOSE WITH THE BACK OF HIS GLOVED HAND AND DID NOT CHANGE IT BEFORE HANDLING FOOD AGAIN. RUN!

This is my second time eating here at Jason’s deli and I really like it! They have complimentary mini muffins, garlic bread and ice cream. So far I’ve ordered the Yankee and the Beef eater and they were both damn good! The service has been great both times and the place looks really clean.

Really good salad bar along with fairly healthy selection of sandwiches. Convenient location just off 28^th. Good eating, reasonably priced and quickly delivered.

Stopped by today for lunch with my husband and the food and service were what I expected. We beat the lunch crowd so we were served promptly and found seats in a booth along the wall that displayed fantastic views of the Flatirons. Jason’s Deli is great for a quick lunch that is fresh and healthy. The salad bar is okay (don’t expect a Whole Foods salad bar) but the sandwiches are where it’s at. We split a pesto chicken panini and it was perfectly toasted and big enough to share between us. I know there is a Panera across the street in 29^th Street Mall, but something about this underdog is worth driving across the street for.

I enjoy this place every time we come. The menu us large and has just the right choices for a good healthy lunch or early dinner. It’s a win win for sandwich and soups near or far

Jason’s Deli had great options, a friendly staff, free wifi & soft serve ice cream. I had a build my own sandwich and it was delicious. My party also ordered several other dishes and they all looked to be enjoying them. The chicken taco salad looked exceptional. My only qualm was that it cost $ 1.99 to substitute fruit as a side. I will definitely return and recommend this location of Jason’s.

Sadly, just a fast food form of a deli. I was hoping for more having never been to this chain. It was very busy last weekend during the grand opening so I waited until tonight to get a Reuben. The place is clean and roomy and was very quiet on an early weekday dinnertime. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A nice young man clearing tables and generally checking on customers came over and reminded me to try the free soft serve ice cream for dessert. I am really glad he did because the soft serve was the highlight of the meal –chocolate was an option, my favorite and hard to get in recent years.
I tried the Jason’s Ginger Ale because it was labeled as «cane sugar» which is usually a good sign and I don’t do high fructose corn syrup. But it was terrible, with a chemical, synthetic flavor and I could not drink more than 4 sips.
The sandwich looked good, the rye nicely browned but not greasy off a grill. It was nice and hot. The order person had said there would be both pastrami and corned beef on it, and though part of the pile was slightly darker than the other, I could not detect any difference in flavor, and certainly no pepper on the pastrami edges. In fact, I could hardly detect any flavor at all as there was a mountain of sauerkraut which totally overpowered the flavors. I love sauerkraut and almost every type of cabbage but I removed half of it from the second half of the sandwich to help balance it out.
I would not order this again and would not choose to go there again unless someone else was highly motivated. It is a shame, because it is in a Boulder location I frequent a lot and has good parking.
