South Mouth Wings

This place has THE WORST customer service EVER. Ordered my food… an hour later still nothing called and talked to the «GM» and he was a total dick and condescending to me. 2.5 hours later and 2 more phone calls after being lied to and hung up on repeatedly our food showed up and the delivery driver was also a dick. I’d be happy never ordering from this place again. Everyone who works there are total assholes and have no idea how to treat customers.

A very poor experience. They seem to believe that nobody knows what a buffalo wing is supposed to look or taste like? I had to drive my delivery order back to the store, and put it on the counter for inspection to get a refund for the soggy and incomplete order. Even then, the manager defends the product and confirms that this is in fact what they intended to deliver.
So no question then, you really don’t know the difference between a cow pie and apple pie.
Good to know, no need to try them again. Ever.

Made me wait for more than 3 hours and a half and didn’t even deliver the food, had me call multiple times till they finally realized that they messed up and gave it to some one else.

As someone born and raised in Memphis, this is about as close as it gets. Great wings, great people.

They always mess up orders and forget things you pay extra for. The wings are mediocre at best, only good if you’re drunk and looking for something late.

I like the happy people that work there.

Food is ok… WAY overpriced and takes forever to be made. Also, it’s not a sanitary kitchen at all (pretty damn gross)

have been craving wings for several weeks now… didn’t feel like going to the store and cooking them myself… could have though… took 90min to get 10 wings and an order of fries… never got my celery… the wings were cold and the fries were mushy and cold as well… I’m sure the in store experience is fantastic but I’m nervous after eating and then reading all the reviews where people got sick… if you’re hammered and want fried food this is the place… if you’re watching football and need substance in under 90 min… go elsewhere… will never order from here again… which is unfortunate because i order delivery quite often… and wings is a rare treat for me, thanks for ruining that…

Extremely Mediocre Food… It’s honestly hard to believe that this place is a «wing place.» I thought the boneless wings were very underwhelming, the «sweet» tea wasn’t very sweet and the fries were extremely soggy. Even drunk, at 2 in the morning this food didn’t please me, (& it’s not that difficult). Only reason they’re getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because the guy who I spoke to over the phone was nice and the wing sauce had enough spice to make my sinuses tingle. I won’t be going back to South Mouth, as much as I’d like to say «I love this wing place,» I just can’t lie.

These p*t he&ds always mess up my order. I’ve ordered from these guys probably 8 times and out of those 8 times, about 6 times they’ve delivered the completely wrong thing. Make sure you specify MULTIPLE times that you want bone-​in wings, otherwise they’ll deliver you a bunch of chicken nuggets drizzled in buffalo wing sauce. Better management would make this establishment a four star.

Food was unfortunately very cold and tasteless. Granted we got late night delivery but still, would not recommend

These wings are too small for the price. They are yummy but I like more bang for my buck

Freakin’ finger lickin’ good! Wings are incredible!
I’ve had the You Better Not and the Spicy Garlic and both have a solid heat with tons of flavor. My friends say the golden honey wings are some of the best they’ve ever had but I can’t pass up spicy wings. If that sounds good to you I’d highly recommend trying it.
The eddies fries are also a solid choice. Super garlicky and not too salty! Staff is really friendly and never have a problem cooking my wings crispy. I easily see this place becoming a weekly addiction!

Girlfriend and I love spicy wings, and our food was outstanding. Boneless wings were cooked the right way — just enough crispy.
Our only complaint is the service. While we (white people) were treated just fine, another customer was treated EXTREMELY poorly, just because he wasn’t white like the rest of the staff is.
I will probably not come back again. Too bad too, food was awesome.

I loved this place in college and try to stop by every time I make it back to Boulder. They have jumbo wings so none of the small crap you would get from the grocery store. The owners are great, and actually from «The South!» Very friendly and willing to take the time to give you a story from home. Order advice: 10 piece hot honey with ranch. Oh! And make it a combo!!!

The quality and size of these wings is bad. We decided to dine in, and the food seemed to be precooked. Last time, at one point they were decent, now not so much.

Thanks to the snarky delivery boy who said ‘Only a dollar tip? Is that right?’
Yeah. Only a dollar tip since last time my food was frigid and mushy when it got here and from now on you’re lucky if you get that. I generally tip pretty well and order from them frequently. The 2.50 delivery fee is already a pain and I know that goes toward insurance and whatnot but seriously ya’ll just deliver my food and when I start getting consistently warm food that’s exactly what I asked for I’ll bump it up.
PS I actually had a 20 dollar bill in my hand ready to say Happy Holidays and thanks for always being pleasant. But yeah asking me if my 1.00 tip is ‘right’ is kinda what screwed you out of that one.

Meh. I got the pulled pork sandwich and had to get more sauce. It was very dry and took a long time to come out. At 8.50 it was very expensive, especially since it didn’t come with anything but a 1 oz container of bad, warm slaw.
Hubs had the wings lunch, and he said he wouldn’t order them again. The fries were amazing though, except we had to ask for them (whoops, kitchen staff smoking too much pot, maybe?) after waiting a long time for them.
We won’t be back unless we’re craving fries.

My friend and I ordered wings from here and got food poisoning — both of us experienced vomiting, nausea and diarrhea a few hours after eating these wings, lasting into the next morning. I spent three hours dry heaving in front of a toilet after puking up this disgusting chicken.
Later on I called these guys. They rudely denied any responsibility, even though their wings were A.) the only thing my friend and I ate together that day and B.) the only thing I’d eaten since breakfast, about 10 hours earlier. It’s obvious to my friend and I what caused our illness, and it doesn’t take much for a business to take responsibility for their unsanitary food. It’s also not impossible to run a sanitary business, and when you’re serving chicken, you had better have some standards. I’m not sure what the standards here are, but based on my experience, they can’t be very high.
Anyways, the short story is that my friend and I ate their wings and fell ill. Don’t buy here unless you want to risk being miserable for hours.
