The Mail Station

These people spent a lot of time helping me with advice only on sending fragiles in states other than their own; what would be an honest price range and how to find a packer out of state (look on Unilocal).
I was so impressed i wrote a Unilocal review, which I rarely do. These people seem honest and customer service oriented and have 30 years in the business, according to one.

Location and décor should be overlooked as this place is a total gem for shipping. Every time I go there they suggest alternative ways to mail items to get them there cheaper and, if possible, faster. They even go as far as to help me repackage my items. Customer service is amazing and there are never any lines! True gem. Keep up the good work!

Well, I had no idea that you could rate post offices because I never thought it was worth doing. Prior to my visit to The Mail Station, I was under the impression that they were all the same– painfully long lines especially around the holidays, impatient customers glaring angrily and enviously at whoever is being served at the counter and occasionally employees that could give DMV workers a run for their money. Yet this place was, I am about to use a painful cliché, a breath of fresh air. The employees went out of their way to exhibit kindness– they said I would get a better deal using a flat-​rate box and repackaged it for me! They seemed low stress about their jobs which made my stress melt away in turn. No more visits to anywhere else for my shipping needs will ever occur again!

I always passed by this little store tucked behind the Best Buy on 30^th and was intrigued by what products and services they may offer. I guess I pictured a sort of mailing warehouse filled with boxes and package supplies, but inside is a like a little gift shop that also includes all of your mailing needs. Whatever size shipping box or materials you require they are bound to have it. The lady at the front was very kind and showed me many options just to make sure I would have the right size box for my package. If you’re not much of a shipper, you can bring in your contents and they will package it for you for a small fee and send it out. They are also stocked with cards, books, gift items, and flowers. I found this to be a very quaint, conveniently located shop, and a much better alternative than waiting in post office lines to ship items or answer my questions.
