You know, generally I don’t give Unilocal reviews based on one experience, but I used to love the IceHouse! Capeside is one of my favorite towns and the Ice House USED TO BE my go to fish and chips joint!
I went here with my best friend and her boyfriend a few days ago and our waiter was a total clutz! He completely messed up our order and accidentally brought me tartar sauce instead of ranch dressing!
I’m appalled.
He was a nice enough guy, but man, I’ve never seen someone so clumsy! He spilled water on the table next to us and spend most of his time stacking creamers? I don’t understand.
My lobster was good, though.

I went here with my friends a few nights ago, and I have to say it’s much nicer than it looks from the outside. I remember coming here when I was younger, and I think the same family that used to own it still does. Their food is really good and CHEAP! Nice beer list and wine list. The one thing that stopped me from giving this 5 stars is that our waitress kept looking at the ceiling and wouldn’t really make eye contact. Kinda weird. But she was nice anyway.
