Alice Bay Bed & Breakfast

We absolutely loved our time here. It is serene and beautiful. We would love to return to spend more time. We had coffee in the Summer Kitchen overlooking the water.

What’s not to like?
Within minutes of arriving you can’t help but feel the weight of those two Delta connectors, the three hour layover in Salt Lake City, and the two hours of downtown Seattle traffic slide right off your shoulders.
Alice Bay is only a couple hours from Seatac but feels like you could be in Alaska. Set in the gorgeous but humble Skagit Valley, it is blessed with serene Bay views, visits from herons, rocky beaches and solitude. Plenty of solitude.
The proprietors are salt of the earth and appear only as much is necessary — or as much as you’d like.
The digs are simple but spacious. But private is pretty much the m.o. here. With only one guest quarters (with two queens), it’s just right for a couple or small family.
I’ll keep the rest for (your) discovery and not spoil it. It’s a nice place, completely affordable, and is the perfect location to get away and get some seaweed stuck in your toes…
